I need a PHP script written which will retrieve a list of files from a remote server and save them into a local directory.

The list of file URLs should be customizable.
The directory they are saved in should be customizable. All files go in the same directory.

The script must be able to run on my server properly.

After I award you the project I can give you sample file URL’s
The files are .ics (calendar) files at a remote URL.
You will need to write this on your own server then send me the script.

If the file already exists, the script should overwrite it when run.

Description: I have a funeral home website completed and I need a programmer to produce PHP/mySQL for the obituaries. I need both frontend and administration backend using php working from a sql database that will show the most recent obits (based upon time posted) and the ability to sort and view a listing all by date or last name. Clicking the name will navigate to that individual’s funeral services info. The individual page will show picture (or default graphic for when there isn’t any picture in database), a text area (for bio, obit, service info).

Need mySql database created (SQL file creates MySQL DB schema), php pages (already have an html designed), a page to upload(create) new obits with picture, ability to modify by admin, archive after a specified periods and list by year(optional), and be able to have users send condolences (a guestbook feature) and post them to that obituary. Ability to print an obituary by visitor. (Optional)

Database would allow a unique ID, last name, first name, m.i., post date, death date, birth date, text area for visitation and obit information…similarly as seen in the url example above.

And last, installation readme doc and email communication with the programmer if needed to get installed and working on site. Would like for obituaries to be able to be used or framed in current website and not a separate site all together.

All products, product descriptions and photos would need to be pulled from the current site and added into the Americommerce multi-store function.

So it’s basically going to be 3 sites. They will be based off his main site he has now, but have different design. Now these 3 sites will be different then the main site but look almost identical to another. Just different colors and what not.

Here’s what I told the client:

Each design would be based off what you have on your one site, but it will be changed in terms of color, pictures, and other items.

Since I’m essentially making 3 sites for you I can’t offer to give you 3 sites that are completely unique designs. What I mean is that i’m going to take what you have in the one site and just put 3 different twist on it. They will all flow the same way , but the color and look will different.

Your limited in your design because you are using volusion and americommerce, but I can make them atleat look better then the current site you have. I can’t make them all look completely different, but I can make the all unique.

One idea would be to have them all have the same structure for all the pages (maybe having different colors), but having them all have completely different homepages. I can definitely do that. Have completely different and unique homepages.

My bid includes 2 months of maintenance and updates for free. Let me know your thoughts.

I have a ecommerce script and everything works great need one little fix related to paypal processing and authorise net processing there for the choosen programmer will need sandbox test accounts with these providers in order to check after fixing. We will be running a full scale test prior to payment using the test account or a real account if you dont have a test one and thatll be payment for project…:) Furthermore I will need to know exactly what was done to fix it so if it happens again.

Now whoever fixes this will also be helping me fix another script same problem well we need to overhaul the whole IPN system its outdated at any rate happy bidding will be moving forward with this project quickly You will be required to sign a NDA and confidentiality agreement. I prefer someone within the united states that i could hold legally responsible should these contracts be violated..:) However I am looking for offshore pricing on this one as it is a small fix the next project will pay more show me what you got here and I may use you frequently.

heres a little more info this is a live auction site once the auction finishes it goes to won auctions then user clicks pay heres the issue it goes to payment.php which goes to process.php which extracts info from auction client info product info etc. everythings in place and setup the way it needs to be to work but for some odd reason its not transmitting the info well once it ends up at paypal nothing follows through i.e. theres no payment info entered at paypal nor item number etc. this is a problem because once user pays its suppose to go back to the site and credit the auction back into the mysql if its unsuccesful it routes back to unsuccessful which it does just fine. so as I said the logics in place its just not 100% so

to have a authorize.net testing account to test that module and fix whatevers wrong with it possibly nothing cant test it, its module is far simpler.

Paypal as noted above probably upgrade IPN will solve the issue its a mysql to paypal issue

I need you to sign the required nda and confidentiality agreements if choosen before seeing anything

and one last request i need a chase IPN built if possible just signing up with them now to get into the developer area.

so overall you must be great with payment API and IPNS Im good with PHP and other languages just need help with this IPN API stuff

I need someone with EXPERT knowledge on JQuery and BASIC Ruby on Rails skills.

I have an existing application that works well but needs some refactoring. It has Ruby on Rails on the server side and JQuery on the front end.

IMPORTANT: The current development environment runs on WINDOWS. You will have to install Rails on Windows, but don’t worry, it works well!

The JQuery code consists of a Folder Browser used to browse files on a computer based on:

In addition, there is a “label browser”, modified from above file tree.

Tasks:

a) refactor JQuery code into 1 or 2 files with clear organization, especially in files application.js, jqueryFileTree.js, jqueryLabelTree.js (all in public/javascipts/)
b) turn post requests into GET:
the following searches / listings are currently Ajax post requests, I would like to turn them
into get requests, so you can use the browser back (or bookmark) button to see them again (it’s ok to reload the whole page)
– search in main field
– click on saved search
– click on label
– click on all documents
– click on new documents
– click on folder (in document table on right)

c) change label browser, so that if you click on a label, a list of (sub) labels appears (like the subfolders in the folder browser)
– the list of (sub) labels is populated by all labels (I will later change that in selecting all other labels that are on the documents with the first label)
– if you click on a sub label, a new level opens again with all labels, and so on
– the sub labels should not display an icon

There is no or little actual work in RoR. You need basic RoR skills to make everything work, but if you don’t have a whole lot experience, that’s fine.

I am looking for a script that would take user input and generate 2 sets of outputs. I would like this script written in php. I would like “searches” saved as well as results in mySql database to be used at later date. Results must also be formatted and returned to user.

Example:

Search for – 2007 Honda Shadow Spirt

Return results from E-bay and craiglist with average buy it now prices of 2007 Honda Shadow spirit

Example – Search returned from 25 results from ebay. Highest Price $5000. Lowest price $1000. Average price – $2,274.
Search returned 10 results from craigslist. Highest price $4500, lowest price $3000. Average price $3,500.

Also, take same search result and determine retail value for that item from kbb.com and nada.com

Example – Nada recommended retail value – $3500. KBB recommended retail value – $3000.

Please let me know estimated time and of course price of project. Also, in PMB, please explain in some detail how you will go about doing this (i.e. scripting language, that sort of thing)

Our website is www.cleopatra.net.au We are looking for someone to redesign the website to look more professional. We are open to suggestion, but want something classy, eyecatching, and professional to look at.

All text to stay the same as the existing website, all pricing etc to stay the same as well. Fon’ts etc can obviously be changed, and so can our logo at the top of the page. We would however like to keep the picture of the blonde haired girl as that is identified with our product.

We think the product colour selection, and product quantity selection part of the website could be better. Currently it looks a little confusing to customers. We will also be offing Credit Card payments on the website so need a payment gateway of some description. We currently use Mals ecommerce, but we are willing to change if need be.

We also need to be able to update the website ourselves easily as we often need to mark colours out of stock, or add new items etc, and we want to do this ourselves.

Another important factor is website optimization. We need the website set up to gain high rankings in Google, so someone with this knowlege would also be required.

If you are able to send a sample of what our homepage etc would look like so that we are able to narrow down our selection it would be much appreciated.

I have a script that I need templates for. The script was created with a really ugly photoshop template. I have two separate html files with a basic template design that I like. This means that when it is all complete that I have 2 working templates with this script.

I am okay if you are a good Graphic Designer and you can see ways to make the design better and/or script to function better. This is something that needs to move very quickly, I will be moving on this as soon as the completed script is delivered to me.

Please dont bid unless you have the skills, to finish the project in a matter of days, on that note deadlines are final if you don’t complete the project by the deadline that you set with the bid. The project will be canceled and the next programmer/designer will be chosen to finish.

I will only use escrow to complete all transactions.
