I need a tool that will allow me to input a website and have data retrieved/mined from it to fill data fields in my database.

I would like to collect yardsale information from Craigslist or any site that I input. Once the tool maps correctly the data to my database, then I would like the tool to run nightly to collect any new additions or correct any changed entries from the respective site.

I can design the interface if the programmer can help me understand the requirements.

Application can run as a Cron job nightly on a php server where I host the website. Application needs to be flexible to the potential differences in how online classifieds list their listing differently. Application needs to be efficient and require low demand on server.

Hello. Here’s what I need done. I’m setting up terminal machines that are running Flash games and an Internet Browser. I need the application to control what the user can and cannot do as the pc is running. The only things that a user should do is move the mouse which deactivates the screensaver. Then he/she should choose between playing a game(Flash game) or browsing the internet.

Here’s the kicker. A user will purchase internet time separately and time will be put into their “account”. The internet browser will be timed based off how many minutes and seconds they have left in their account. This variable is stored in a MySQL database. When a user closes the browser window then the time left must be stored into a MySQL database. Also, when a users time runs out the browser window must automatically close and the user can’t access it again until they purchase more time.

All I need is a program to disable all features and functions not associated with the Flash file and the Internet Browser app. In a nutshell, the Flash menu is Full Screen when the pc starts up. I don’t want anyone to be able to get out of that screen. Some of the ways one can exit this screen is by hitting the Windows button or Alt-Tab on a keyboard. I want all possible ways to do this disabled so just a Flash file and browser runs.

I have no idea what language or type of application can do this. Please provide me with details about what you would do and use to complete this project. Please list similar projects if applicable. I can put entire payment in Escrow right now if you provide me with a proper solution and we decide to move forward. Experience with Internet Coffeeshops andCafes is a plus.

Also, if you think this can be done a different, and better, way please make a suggestion and we can work toward a solution.

I require a website for my wonderful product.

The product is an Forex Expert Advisor. If you do not know what that is, its basically a Robot, that trades the forex markets, and makes money.

Now my business model and product are similar to this website.

Personally i think that website above has a very very bad design, the look and feel is terrible.

I want a much more professional looking website, with a nice financial look and feel. The complete requirements are listed below

1. Professional website design (home, about, download, product, faq, testimonials, contact us, past performance, live account (might be some others as well)
– you will need to seach existing EA sites, we wil discuss them, and pick the things i like best in each, but you will need to provide me with the top 10 most popular sites for us to discuss
2. text content (copy) for all pages
3. Robust website development (must use some cms so i can change the text myself)
4. SEO friendly, i will require some natural SEO
5. Setup payment mechanis via clickbank and paypal (if possible both, otherwise i will just choose one)
6. think of creative name for EA
7. Need to make some nice imagery that looks like a box. (i will provide images of charts showing past performance)
8. Payment will be via subscription and one off (subscription 30/mnth or buy the entire thing for $500) also there will be a 10day trial period for free.

The usability needs to be very good and APPROVED BY ME before development
The design will also need to be APPROVED by me before development.

The site will be hosted in a shared enviroment, so this needs to be taken into account when doing develoment.

Payment will be milestone based on the deliverables below:

1. Usability Prcess site map and flow chart (simply boxes showing where a user can click, and how to navigate thoughout the site for a purchase, etc. (10% payment)
2. Design of homepage, contact us page, shopping cart, inner pages and all imagery (10% payment)
3. Text Copy for all pages (10% payment)

Linux Daemon & Php Parser

Linux Daemon & Php Parser
This project involves a few different but related pieces. If you are not able to fulfill every piece, let me know what ones you can do and your bid for them.

In order of priority:

1. Split an existing php/mysql parser that currently processes 2 .txt files into 2 parsers – 1 parser for each file. This parser currently only inserts, so change each parser to insert or update for one set of status_code and deletes for another set.

2. Create a daemon to run each parser daily. This daemon will be set up on a bluehost linux server. There is ssh access for the website. A daemon needs to be created instead of using a cron job because there is a 30 min limit on cron jobs and these processes can potentially run much longer. The daemon can be developed in the language of your choice. Please let me know your language choice for this.

3. These parsers import the .txt files from an IIS web server. Currently, there is no authentication on this server for these files. I need recommendations/instructions for my IT person to set up authentication for these files. Also, need changes to the php parsers to incorporate this authentication.

4. There is an existing script to import another csv file for a different process. This script worked on one server but cannot get it to work on the bluehost server. I need to get this working again and set up properly as a cron job.

These items need to be completed in the next few days. Please only put in a bid if you have the experience to pretty much know how to complete these tasks and are available to complete them in this time frame.

I have an xml file (zipped) that I would like parsed and loaded into a MySQL database.

I would like a php script that I can access with my browser that will execute the script, unzip it, and load the xml file into a table. If the table does not exist, I want it to be created automatically before loading. All data on the table can be erased before loading. You will have to parse the xml file to determine the appropriate structure of the table.

I will consider it finished after I can use my browser to access the php file that will execute the script and create the table if it does not exist and then unzip the xml file, load the file into the table, deleting all previous data in that table. I don’t want an excessively large table so please use appropriate field sizes and data types for the data. i.e. don’t make everything 255 char. Make the collaton utf8 general.

I may take up to 3 days to test your script because of my schedule. I will complete payment after I have had a chance to test it. I will provide escrow.
