8. A Design/Layout page needs to created on the backend where users can change their template, reattach their logo, choose a different header pic, etc.

9. Components, Categories, and Permissions should be moved down and separated from the rest of the links.. Put it at the bottom under and advanced user tag.

Then on the Moderate Account we could add news manager, events, manager, gallery manager, etc.. under Design.

6. The name Mura needs to be stripped from the balloon pop ups and anywhere else it shows up.
7. Finish sign up and add set up to the front end. Connect it to authorize.net Sign up just needs the initial package selection and an email sent out with the link to the set up. Set up needs to include the ability for user to select a template, upload a logo (logo should be automatically resized on upload), choose a header picture, and created their pages. It would be ideal if database some of the style sheet so the user can just choose the their own background color and navigation bar color from a swatch pop up. That would be awesome.

5. Template Gallery- Gallery Template

This template gallery they they’re choosing from has to be created and also accessible on the front end if possible. Since Mura already has the template drop down.. maybe we could use that and just have a spot where we can attach a thumbnail to each template and then have all of the thumbnails show up on a page in a gallery format. Should show up like this when selecting a template..

6. Gallery Manager currently uploads photos and adds whatever the title of the photo is to the gallery no matter how long it is. So photos taken from a digital camera will automatically be entered with the long number assigned to each photo. When this happens the photo titles overlap one another. Mura’s answer is to just have them go back in and manually rename all of the images. I think we should either take the image titles off or at least take them off by default and only have them show up if the user enters them manually. But even then we’d have to put some sort of a limit on the size of the title.. Not really sure the best way to handle it. Eventually we’d also like to add a batch upload so users can upload multiple images by dragging them into a window instead of just being able to add eight at a time manually.

4. Set up needs to be created on the

Set up will work like this:

They’ll get an email that welcomes them to Control Freak and gives them a link to set up their new site.
This page should show a list of templates available for their site. There is already a drop down that connects to the templates directory built into Mura on the EDIT CURRENT SITE page. We would just need to add a thumbnail pic to each template, database it, and then make them appear in a grid format for the customer to choose from during sign up. The ability to break down by category should be built in to this.

Right now the logo is in the header file of mura and it’s not databased. We would need to database it and connect it to the sign up and the DESIGN/LAYOUT section of the backend that hasn’t been created yet.

The user should be able to choose between several header pics for each template or have a link to upload their own photo with instructions on height and width.

The last step of the set up will be making sure the pages are right. The user should be able to add, edit, and delete pages from this section before see their new site.

Then they should get a CONGRATULATIONS page that congratulates them on build their new website with a choice between going directly to the front end of their new website.. or the backend.

For now Professional can just bring users to a page that tells them they need to call. Limits needs to be set depending upon which account they choose. Article Directory
I am aware there are many article directory scripts out there already but I can’t find one that 100% fits my needs (mainly in regards to the articles being image intensive). I don’t mind if you create something yourself or if you modify an existing script. Please let me know via PMB what script you plan on using and if there is a license cost let me know how much.

I am creating an article directory in the automotive niche. I need a side menu with at least three levels of submenu (editable from backend). Clicking these links should list all the available articles for that category on the main section of the page. Users can then click these articles to see them in the main section of the website. The database should be searchable.

Users submit the articles, many of which are image intensive. So there needs to be a good system where the user can upload images easily as well as text. (Please note I want to host all the images, I don’t want images linked from photobucket etc)

Otherwise standard directory features are required (backend, search, rate the article, etc.)

The site doesn’t need a fancy design for now, just basic, neat and functional will do. (Although if you want to do the design as well let me know that your price includes it)

I anticipate PHP/mysql being used but please feel free to make any other suggestions.
