I need a developer to build a page that allows our clients to search our criminal records database. This page will require password access, be able to submit a name and date of birth to our database and capture the records from the database and post them to our client on a seperate web page. The database is fully built and has these items ready to go already:
*XSLT Stylesheets ready to go. Use them as they are or alter them to fit your site better
*Sample code for Coldfusion, JSP, PHP and ASP.NET
*A simple, highly stuctured XML set that once implemented will not require future changes be implemented by your programmer as our XML design is “Self Maintaining”.
*A test harness with plenty of test names you can run to be sure your interface is working properly with our system.

Our website is completed and we just need to add the page and tie it into our database provider.

XML is a must and our website is built in JOOMLA

WordPress Redesign

This project needs to completed in the new couple of days!

An existing wordpress blog needs to be update with a new design. The homepage of the website and the article page template have been updated. Attached are files showing how the layouts should look.

The updates include:

– New layout & content for blog home page and article
– Add RSS feed
– Add links to Twitter & Facebook accounts
– Add “share this” function
– Add tagging feature to posts, include tag cloud
– Truncate posts on homepage after first two paragraphs, add a “read more” link
– Add a blog roll grouped by category
– Thumbnails of the blog article image will be created on the homepage within the admin. Thumbnails will be cropped square.

NOTE: The blog author rollovers at the bottom of the homepage design are NOT part of the project. They can be ignored. I am posting this as a separate project.

Facebook Plugin Added To Wp

I was using the facebook box on wordpress, but it appears off centered on internet explorer (I currently have it deactivated). I would like that centered and tested on all major browsers.

Optional BUT MENTION IN THE BID, I would like someone to find a facebook comments plugin that works – a plugin that takes comments on my facebook posts and imports them to my wordpress blog. I already have the twitter plugin up and working.

Virtuemart Checkout

Working on a project that requires the checkout process to be altered in Virtuemart (1.4) – Joomla 1.5.15.

The site will work with “No Account Creation”. Moving from the basket to the checkout the default install directs users to the registration form requesting the Billing information etc .

I need to customise this (or skip and create a page) to include two optional addresses e.g. a shipping address or a an alternative delivery address plus two text areas for notes and a radio button selection.

Upon completion the user is taken to the payment page, bypassing the current default which returns the billing information and asks for an alternative shipping address if required.

Shipping cost should be calculated as is the default in Virtuemart. All customer input should be stored in the default locations in the virtuemart tables as this information will be required for order forms and invoices.

WordPress Flash/2 Themes Edit

2 seperate wordpress flash themes edited on two seperate domains

1 needs logo edited, pictures changed in flash area, and links edited in header

The other needs logo edited, pictures changed in flash area, and links edited in footer area

Cronjob Alternative Solution

I have installed the abledating script on a shared hosting account. It needs to run a cronjob every 10 minutes (checking the users online list) but my hoster does allow minimum every 4 hours, so I am searching for an alternative solution for that (without cronjob).
I was thinking of sth. like implementing some code to autorefresh the page every 10 minutes depending on the user’s pc clock, but if you have a better solution, it would be much appreciated 🙂

Php Fix Special Char & Bug

Hello,

I have a php script real estate that has issues when I add or update listings agents and other data. It never use to have this problem but now if I add special characters such as ” ‘ % (and others) I get an error. It will not post the listings or information because of the special characters in the fields.

It looks to be a rather simple fix but I still need someone who knows what they are doing. Please be honest about your completion dates. I need this done asap. This effects more than one field there are fields for listings, agents, locations and more that are effected. I need the whole script to be working properly by being able to accept these special charaters in all the fields while editing or adding.

I also have one more issue with this script.. Since I posted this project before and the last programmer attempted to fix it but messed up my image fields. Now when I try to upload a image to a specific set of image fields I get an error.

I need both of these things fixed. I will also need to get a readme file so that I know what changes you made to the files specifically.. the files, the lines that were changed added, or deleted and what you added in for it to work.
