Working on a project that requires the checkout process to be altered in Virtuemart (1.4) – Joomla 1.5.15.
The site will work with “No Account Creation”. Moving from the basket to the checkout the default install directs users to the registration form requesting the Billing information etc .
I need to customise this (or skip and create a page) to include two optional addresses e.g. a shipping address or a an alternative delivery address plus two text areas for notes and a radio button selection.
Upon completion the user is taken to the payment page, bypassing the current default which returns the billing information and asks for an alternative shipping address if required.
Shipping cost should be calculated as is the default in Virtuemart. All customer input should be stored in the default locations in the virtuemart tables as this information will be required for order forms and invoices.
