Joomla Obituary Site
I’m willing to pay $200-230 for this work. It must be complete in less the 10 days. It may require some custom joomla module work
My client is purchasign a wordpress or joomla template. Your task will be to take this template and build (and later install)an Automatic Newsletter website. You will have to modify the template to the whatever look they want.
The client is Spanish. So the site text needs to be either written in spanish or it should be made in english with a spanish text version of the site. I don’t speak spanish by the way. Most the content I’m sure the client can provide. So don’t worry about knowing spanish at all.
Though if you speak spanish that is STRONGLY PREFERED
The website should be able to do the following:
Customer:
Shall be able to login to his account
Shall be able to select a background (template) from a variety of categories
Shall be able to add logos, pictures and text in specific text or picture boxes
Shall be able to see the result (WYSWYG) and edit the content before to accept it or shall be able to include his own “newsletter”
Shall be able to upload or manually input e-mails
Shall be able to accept Terms of Agreement
Shall be able to pay throughout www.2checkout.com as minimum
Website and behind the scene process:
Shall be able to send a one page newsletter automatically to the e-mail list provided from the customer and/or the entire e-mail database
Shall include a subscriber or sign-on form
Shall be able to unsubscribe customers
Shall have an autoresponder
Shall have a Quick Guide – explaining step by step the process
Shall have the standard pages: Home, About us, and Contact us
E-mail Delivery:
Shall include a subscribe link
Shall include a unsubscribe e-mail line
Shall include a line with the name of the company
Shall include a message stating our Anti-Spam policy
Administrative panel:
Shall upload or manually input e-mails
Shall upload backgrounds with their text or picture boxes
Shall be able to add categories
Shall be able to add “banners” and “Adsense” in the Home Page and other selected pages
Shall be able to enable or disable the payments feature (Example: at the beginning the service could be free or the first delivery could be free)
Shall include a “promotion” in the HOME PAGE
Shall track the orders. There will be some ecommerce elements obviously. This will only be connected to paypal and google checkout. Or just paypal.
Technical:
Shall be made in a way to add additional webpages
From USER viewpoint
I see a list of obituaries – I click and I get basic information – where is the ceremony – hours, etc. I can search by date or name. I can share this information with others about the event. There is a button where I can click and see “special condolences”
There is a separate list with “special condolences” as well. I can search by person´s name and company´s name (owner of the “special condolences).
Next to he obituary IT COULD BE A BOTTON where I can click and see a picture of the person and a brief description (Born and die… left two children … he was … ) I can leave my condolences (like a guest book) and share it with others.
From CUSTOMER viewpoint
I have the steps to include an obituary and pay for it.

OBITUARY
Basic – 1. Include in the webpage the obituary. 2. Send a type of newsletter to the entire database – I can upload e-mails to be included in the database.
Premium – Have for a period of time – a page with the person´s information (as explain before – a picture and a brief description) where people can input condolences for free.
Obituary – to make it easy – The family member would have to fill text boxes with the regular data: Name, upload a picture, location of the ceremony, cemetery, date and hour, invitation by “name of family members” Shall be able to see the result (WYSWYG) and edit the content before to accept it.
Type of Newsletter- The customer can choose from a template list. Shall be able to see the result (WYSWYG) and edit the content before to accept it.
There would be only ONE TEMPLATE with the premium – upload picture and brief description. Shall be able to see the result (WYSWYG) and edit the content before to accept it.
SPECIAL CONDOLENCES
This is for EVERYBODY- person or company
Basic – 1. Send a “special condolences” (type of newsletter) to the entire database. I can upload e-mails to be included in the database.
Premium – “Special condolences” can be posted in the website to be watch for others next to the person´s obituary and it would be shown separate it.
“Special condolences” – to make it easy – They would have to fill text boxes with the regular data: Name, text for “special condolences”, upload company’s logo, representative’s name, date. Shall be able to see the result (WYSWYG) and edit the content before to accept it.

ANNIVERSARY CEREMONY
