I’m a freelance writer launching a huge project. Over the next 10-40 years, I’ll write 2000+ essays in English about kanji (a Japanese script) and post them on downloadable PDFs on a subscription-based website. I am seeking a web designer and developer. The person must know the basics of kanji and have experience in creating Japanese-language-related websites. The person must also be fluent in English.

There will be:
-Static text (3-4 pages) & free content (sample downloads)
-Subscription content (E-commerce): downloadable PDFs
-Community forums
-Searchability: by yomi, JLPT level, kanji, radical, meaning. The PDF content needs to show up in the search results.
-SEO

Might want to add later:
-Flash content (learning center, games, tests)

I prefer WordPress as the CMS, because I already know how to use it, and I’ll be the one uploading content. But I’m flexible on this matter, and anyway some people have said that WordPress won’t work for this project. I would like your opinion on that.

I have a lotto script that is mainly a database that holds all pick 5 tickets played for the day. and then every day I have to log into the admin and do a drawing and then i can clear yesterdays tickets from the database….

For some reason its not working anymore no matter what cpanel hosting account I try to install it on… I need this fixed… It was created with php3 probably 7 years ago…

I am willing to pay only $20.00 to fix this and because of the type of job it is I will not pay or put any money in escrow until I receive it and confirm it works on my server.

Simple Online Inventory System

We are Printer’s and in need of a simple inventory system we can use to show clients how much they have warehoused with us.

We need this to run off of our website, with a simple login.

Clients will login and see only their items showing them product name and quantity, we would also like detailed logs per item showing when inventory was used or added to (this could also be search function where they could sort by date and item)

Admin would simply allow us to add users, add/delete products and modify inventory levels. We would also like to send out emails to the client when inventory becomes low.

This could use a MySql database or just a text file. What would be really beneficial for us is if we could do this through an offline excel/spreadsheet that our warehouse staff could modify and then we could upload/import if thats possible.

I think it would also be beneficial if we could as admins export all items to a csv file as well.

The site already has “List Jobs by xxx” postings using different filters set up, so copying the existing List Jobs by Category search then changing it to List Jobs by Salary is a snap.

All I need is:
1. to add a “List Jobs by Salary” category (to appear under “List Jobs by Category”) and
2. to integrate a PayPal shopping cart for payments (add a small list of prices with add to cart buttons – not exactly ecommerce!).

Hi,

Project is just easy manual work for those who know php.

I have a site that needs the following done to it:

1. Make each page have it’s own .php page, currently it’s a dynamic index.php?i=prices, but needs to be prices.php
2. Header is incorrectly configured, it has a central header which puts the same title for each page (not good for seo), so each page has to have it’s own title, and only universal items appear in a header.php. (like site.css)
3. Not necessary, but wanted to make it w3c valid (http://validator.w3.org/)

About 30 pages in all.

hi guys i need a php script that will allow visitors to the website to enter there postcode to see if we deliver to them, there are many scripts available online but i cant get the right 1, after checking the postcode it should return a positive or negative text message (that i can control) also i need to be able to input and remove postcodes.
