The main scope of this project is a site that is like that of MyFreeImplants.com (MFI) I will switch around the process some because this is NOT about implants or cosmetic surgery. But it requires ALL the content (front end/back end) of that site, so bid accordingly. MFI does what they do well and provides that exceptional service-I want to support a end-user’s other type endeavors (more detail upon bid completion) by allowing them to connect to their appropriate audience (more demographic/specific information later).

I will require:
1-A site like MFI—study it, please.
-the integration of etsy api’s so they have a way to sell things through their profile if they choose.
2-Jquery usage and/or ruby on rails for web 2.0 ease of use/feel, UNLIKE MFI.
3-Consultation on where to house the site securely and cost effectively in the US. The cost can include this setup with a well-established host.
4-Connection and graphic work in parallel to create the look/feel. I like the ‘look’ of bestbuy’s IdeaX site and Okcupid.
5-holistically, keep in mind that I’d like it mobile ready or iphone app ready and be able to readily get to the data to help the users.
6-ensure that there is a great admin back-end to manage/approve the users, etc. I’d like to hear your plan on this.
7-The code should be well commented and efficient.

I also want to incorporate a email solution for each of the members with a nominal fee (or donated by their ‘audience’ ). Maybe utilizing Rackspace’s api, etc. Suggestions welcome.

Again, unlike MFI, I require the use of Jquery and/or ruby on rails to give it the new Web 2.0+ dynamic content. There should be the ability to collect donations from ‘audience’ FOR the primary users but also a nominal subscription fee paid by the users or on behalf of the hobbyists by the fan(s). i.e. pay for this ‘users’ subscription and email account. Paypal integration ok but I’d like actual credit card integration and you can help me with this.

The source you create for me cannot be resold/packaged. I’ll provide specific audience for graphics themes and things upon NDA or awarding bid.

Please have some jquery and RoR examples and examples of graphics (whether you all do them too or you have someone that does alongside you).

I have a VERY EXTREME wordpress design that needs to be done. I’m attaching screen shots..

The homepage is different then the rest of the pages, but I want the site to be static.

The homepage the navigation will be on all pages and is just whatever coding you want, however, below the navigation is a flash piece so I need a place to add the flash element, under that is the footer that will be spread apart on ALL pages.

The rest of the site is regular wordpress.

I need a website built that will function similarly to Groupon.com but will need to be built from the ground up and not a clone. Every technology used on Groupon such as credit card payment, chat, email blasts, referral system with credits, customer accounts, back end html creation, back end reporting, automatic webpage posting for 24 hr period, geographical mapping etc. In addition I would like to add Iphone and web interface as well as coupon tracking and verification via standard phone line or web. If you can make this website look as good as and work as well as Groupon then submit your bid. Please become familiar with the Groupon site bfore placing bid so that there are no excuses. This site needs to be done as quickly as possible and I am more concerned with quality of craftsmanship than speed of production. I would like it done in 2-3 weeks if possible but I will allow a little more time if necessary. This will be the first of several websites that we will produce and a long term relationship to upgrade this site on a continual basis and produce sister websites is sought. We need to get this up and running on a limited budget and once running will be able to reward the right programming team with more work for a long time to come. I have a site that I would say is 40% done, maybe more. I had a programmer do the site, but he must of had other work or something, because their were none stop issues with him not understanding me and I’d only get a response from him every 4 days or so. Anyway I’m moving on from him.

He did some of the work. The menu drop down is all there, the design is there, but he didn’t do the homepage right. Anyway I’m willing to pay $130-200 for this project. It must be done in 2 weeks or less.

I am looking to create an informational website through the aggregation of relevant news items. This is a full design job for a new site including logos, colors, and CMS.
My company sells products to the target industry and the intention is to use this website to:
• Generate repeat visitors by providing useful news and information to my industry
• Generate leads for my company / website
• Generate networking opportunities in the industry
• Encourage participation via forums and postings
• Generate some revenue through selling ads & keywords
Content:
Basically I would like to import my content from other sites using RSS feeds and whatever other means are possible. The site needs to be able to capture RSS, etc. specific to my industry and also allow forums and comments. Essentially the site should look professional and interesting with content coming from other places.
Important Site Considerations
• The site needs to have an easy to use admin tool so I can change content myself
• Other than content updates the site must be easy to maintain and virtually free to operate (except my time, updates, hosting, etc.)
• The site should be cost effective to create and have the ability to add more to the initial design in the future.

In the end functionality is more important than design to me. The ease of administration, and ability to bring in up to date topic related news is more important than a custom template or from scratch design. I really want the site to encourage users to view and post things. When they post it should be a form based posting that gives me the ability to ‘hit a button’ and publish… For example ‘add a company’ would be based on products and services that company offers. So under ‘Cameras, Infrared, the information for Flir Systems would show up (address, website, telephone etc.). I also want to be able to upgrade those listings by having their logo added etc. for a fee. The newsletter is also a key piece. I need to capture visitor information and then allow them to receive daily or weekly updates that summarizes the news.

Note: I’ll provide the words needed for each of the forms for you to design. Ideally, it will be simple so that if someone fills out a form it goes to the admin in a type of holding pattern until the adminstrator (currently me) can do a quick scan and hit ‘publish’ so that it will go live.
