[THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A SIMPLE MP3 PLAYER! I would like to implement what can be seen on the two sites below, and nothing else]

I have Ajax implemented on my WordPress site. I would like to create an MP3 player that runs in the footer, but will automatically start playing/switch to songs that are played from the main post. For a perfect implementation of this, see http://www.hypem.com/. I would like to replicate their setup almost exactly (though they are not using WordPress).

They are using JW Player as the main engine for playback. I really need to emphasize that I am not just looking for an MP3 player here. What I am looking for is one that will interactively function with AJAX, so that when the play button next to a different MP3 is clicked, the MP3 playing in the footer will switch to the song that has been called. Again, please look at Hypem.com for the perfect example.

Another example can be seen at http://beta.hypster.com/, where, at the bottom left, you will see a “Top 10 Artists” list. Each of those has a play button that, when clicked, will dynamically call an MP3 player in the footer (that looks identical to Hypem). Their use of an extra frame to implement this is not ideal. The interface, however, is. You should notice that if you surf around Hypster, the music at the bottom will continue to play until you hit the play button next to another track.

User interface should be similar to that on Hypster or Hypem, in that the bottom bar displays the artist/track title based on the <a href=””> link.

Using opensource for modules which need to handshake with a codeigniter site. The site is membership based wih 4 levels of membership with privileges and limitations – posting blog/moderate blogs, forums, and/or events. Developer also needs to credit member’s account in membership with reward point member’s activity.

Developer also needs to interface with current membership provider to make sure that memberlevel and status is validated for privileges prior to allowing member access to blog, forum or newsletter. FAQ (Help with Live Chat) does not need any validation. Anyone can see it and open a ticket. Help has a ticket system with autoresponder. Opensource Help Desk Opensource software can be used here, as well as, for blog, forum, news and newsletter – with photo and video upload or embeded.

Web 2.0 design to compliment current website in development. URL need to be SEO friendly with no extention. Protect databases from sql injection.

Problem to be solved is:
– to be able to control, measure, and evolve the experience testers have when trying out a feature or set of features in a mockup or a real site.

Requirements
1. the mockup is built using an external design tool that can export to html, such as pidoco or similar
2. testers use the actual html export of the mockup
a. this platform should be able to access that html export at a given and changeable url
3. each piece of feedback must be time-stamped and associated with a specific mockup page
a. ideally there is a way to drop a pin on the page that points to the specific object on the page for which the feedback applies
4. the mockup creation process and the feedback mechanism must be independent, hence the html export being the bridge
5. the platform should allow the ability to track groups of users tied to specific sub-goals for a user test i.e. subsets of the html export

Proposed approach to solving the problem
1. use WP as a base for capturing feedback, managing users, taking metrics etc
2. develop a WP plugin or PHP code that crawls the whole html export and creates a post for each page crawled
3. develop a WP post template that reads the URL in its body and loads it in an iframe or similar
4. develop a WP plugin that listens to the iframe URL and loads the corresponding post created in 2.

1: I have just put up a new CSS template on the home page and while it works fine on IE apparently it is not viewable on Google Chrome, so I need the CSS validated on that page so that the Flash shows properly in all browsers.

2. I need the contact submission page to work.
I just put it up, but it needs to send the submissions to: my email adress and give the client a response note that says that the form was successfully submitted.

3. WordPress blog needs CSS template installed.

4.Simple Machines Forum needs CSS template installed;

5. I need a clone of the Simple Machines Forum with the new CSS template. (I need two forums and I have one.)

I need these completed ASAP!

Need customization to a wordpress theme and graphic for logo and header:

The site is at http://startupconsole.com. Here are the specific details:

Want the white space below the top navigation bar and above the header graphic to be gone. Want one grey horizontal line, not both.
Want the header/head banner to be not as high, maybe about 2/3 the height right now.
Need a good graphic for logo/head banner to fit in that space. I like that orange gradient on the background, so something to match. Want tech/internet/startup type of theme for the design/logo. Please do 3 different color/design options so I can choose.
Want a nice favicon to match.
Want the post title to be in the same grey box as the Date and posted in category. Also want that box to be closed on the right hand side (with a grey vertical line).
For some reason, Firefox shows some scripts at the bottom of the page, but it is not a problem in IE or Chrome. Please fix this as well.

I need the NextGEN Gallery to show the thumbnails and then show the image to the right of the gallery on the page. I can’t use the default image popup. I’ve diddled with ImageBrowser, but it replaces the gallery when a thumbnail is clicked on.

I think I need a bash of gallery.php and imagebrowser.php where thumbnails are still displayed when an image is selected.

Also, need to have a way to highlight thumbnail of currently displayed image. (can merely be border around thumbnail.)

Hello everyone,

I’m really at my wits end, and am hoping someone can offer a solution.

After posting a comment on this site:

…my wordpress site has been attracting a TON of backlinks from this particular website, within a matter of days. I posted the comment with the hope of obtaining just one backlink, but now I’m being constantly bombarded with backlinks from this website.

As a result, my site has been penalized and my search engine ranking has plummeted!

A few days ago, I contacted the owner of the above blog and had my comment removed…but my website continues to get backlinks from it.

This whole issue is really frustrating.

What could be the cause for this sudden explosion of links? I only launched my site around a couple weeks ago, and already it’s gotten over 300 backlinks, mainly from the source I mentioned in the first paragraph.

I’ll be honest. I have VERY little technical expertise, though I do maintain and run the site myself. If anyone out there could walk me through this problem in ‘idiot-proof’ language, I would really appreciate it!
