Brief on Hotel Site

Phase I:

A travel site built on wordpress platform which automatically offers many features such as adding web posts, adding various tools, SEO compatability, hosting service, admin panel etc. It needs to be customized for the following:

a. Deals on hotels (refer to www.dealbase.com) and user reviews posted by users for those hotels / deals

b. The site will have travel information on all cities of India divided into various heading, subjects and pages. The travel designations will also be categoried on theme basis, such as adventure travel, religious travel etc. Reference – rang7.com. This information can be added by users, on getting published the name of the user will also show below the information published. All information will be published post approval of admin.

c. It will have search and advance search functionality. Search can be made by deal pricing and / or star rating and / or city. It will also have compare info functionality for hotel rates on parameters such as city, price and star rating.

d. Anyone can post information on deals, destinations, festivals on the site which will be uploaded post admin reviews the content.

e. If the hotel for which user is posting a deal is not in our database/listed on site, then a new page should be formed for that hotel and it should be added to our database.

e. The site will have Photographs, 100 words description and 1 video on each hotel.

f. It will have option for user reviews on hotels and deals etc.

g. It will also have google maps integrated with each hotel. You can take API of Google to do so. (if possible)

h. Hotel, travel agent and customers should be able to add deals. Deals will be published post admin approval. There would be an option if the Hotel, travel agent and customers wants their name to be visible on the deal or not.

i. The user should be able to go to the partner site (hotel, online travel agent) to make the booking. (hyperlinking option) However, this should be another window opening, our site should not close.

j. Users should be able to log on to the site to make their own user interface/section. For eg- mouthsut.com (we can ask the city/age/sex/ profession of the person / upcoming travel and customize his deals section with relevant deals accordingly)

k. Automated Alerts for subscription by user. Deal alerts will be personalised as per specifications left by the user (parameters pre-decided by us)

l. The site will also have plan your travel option. This would be personalized travel planner which would allow a person to select the deal on hotel, flight, info on destination in one page and save it. He can then share it with his friends and take prints. He should also be able to save his tickets in this one document.

m. The site should be SEO optimized – meta tag, page description, page title etc. However, wordpress does give most of the options. The site should also have cookies, adware and spyware integrated in it for better analytics.

n. The site should have database backup option.

o. Integration of 3 online travel agents to add their deals.

Phase II

1. IMP but OPTIONAL: This will be additional. If you can undertake, let me know, otherwise just revert with website rates and timeframe.

Crawler functionality along with the site which will search ‘SPECIFIC’ travel related information on the web, assemble it in the ‘required’ format (pre-decided by us) and upload it on the site after the admin approves the content.

• A web crawler will collect required information on travel in India posted on various websites – hotel sites, online travel sites, travel agent sites etc.

Crawler should be able to take commands on keywords which it will use for locating information. • Information will be assembled in the format as per the instructions set in the crawler.

• The crawler will have user editing rights. The info will be screened by admin and only then added to website. •

The crawler needs to eliminate mechanical searching of content on web.

2. After launching the site, I am also looking at promoting it through search engine management. Let me know if you do that as well.

We have just launched a wordpress blog on our site, and we would like to have it adapted to our specific website design.

The blog will need to be fully integrated to our page (it won’t look that bloggy after all), and as such we need to have our header and footer implemented.

Also, we need to have our fonts and colours from CSS implemented into the theme. The finished product needs to be a zip file that I can upload to WordPress as the theme.

The Association has members who provide their products to retailers. They wish to give their members the ability to upload products and take orders for them either via credit card or on account.

The site must provide the following as a plugin functionality to WordPress Multiuser.

* Ecommerce Catalog, Shopping Cart and gateway for each individual user. Preferably as a wordpress MU plugin
* Automated signup process for Members plus purchasers ie similar to wordpress.com new blog routine with the addition of creating
* WordPress website for each member ie home page, products pages with order now functionality, promotions, events, about page etc
* Ability to centrally manage all members with reporting functionality to see how many orders, $ value
* Ability to measure orders and write to online accounts package via API ie Freshbooks, Saasu or similar to measure and account for the users.
*Invoicing functionality to send invoice totals to Online API accounting package for monthly fee + any commissions for the products sold/processed.

I am seeking a web designer and developer. The person must know the basics of kanji and have experience in creating Japanese-language-related websites. The person must also be fluent in English.

There will be:
-Static text (3-4 pages) & free content (sample downloads)
-Subscription content (E-commerce): downloadable PDFs
-Community forums
-Searchability: by yomi, JLPT level, kanji, radical, meaning. The PDF content needs to show up in the search results.

I prefer WordPress as the CMS, because I already know how to use it, and I’ll be the one uploading content. But I’m flexible on this matter, and anyway some people have said that WordPress won’t work for this project. I would like your opinion on that.

I am using this plugin called “My favorite posts” for my wordpress blog. It allows my visitors to add post pages to the sidebar and save them in a list.

Currently, it only works with “logged in wordpress users” but I want it to work for any visitor, even if they are not logged into my blog.

I will need you to modify this plugin and make it so that it cookies each visitor so it remembers their favorites posts.

This should be very simple and shouldn’t take too long to create.

I have a webpage: http://sellhomeformore.com that is a Rent to Own website where I need to host properties. We have recently added a property page by turning the “Great Real Estate WordPress Plugin” into a page template. Rather than using the included css, we have decided to style it differently. I need to take the information submitted in the plugin so that the result is a table on the template page. The database has already been created. The table also should include attributes that can be styled in a CSS Stylesheet.

1. Towards the bottom of the home page in our ‘video section’ (tier 3) we had a programmer edit it and after he was done it looked ok on our computers using IE but not on MANY of our visitors computers, we need this problem fixed please see screen shot.

2. The next problem we have is the drop down menu is always down, this wasn’t a problem before the video section was edited… should be an easy fix.

3. We would like to middle section of our website (tier2) to be changed around. I have included a screenshot that I mocked up in photoshop of what I want it to look like EXACTLY.

The other spots that say ‘advertise here’ and ‘jpeg’ should be spots for me to place my own jpeg files but I want them to be exactly the same size as I have in the mockup.
