Summary: I need a PHP script that can go to Google, Yahoo, Alexa.com, search and scrape data, then this project should be fairly easy for you to do quickly. You need to know mysql and how to create cron jobs as well.

While I have placed the general specs below to give you an idea of the script, please talk to me message board before bidding.

General Specs:

1. User enters Website into search box.
2. Software searches Google for related websites to #1.
3. Software finds sites linking to URLs found in #2 using Google and Yahoo
4. Software searches Alexa Page Rank for URLs from #3.
5. Software searches web history of URLS from #3.
6. Software searches html code of websites from #3 for keywords specified by me

7. Software creates a HTML spreadsheet report from the above, and saves it to a specific folder

8. Mysql database (there’s no need store the data above in the mysql database, the database is merely used to keep track of the HTML reports that are created and put a timestamp of when each report is created.

9. Cron jobs created to remove HTML reports every ___ days. (specified on control panel)

10. There will be an admin control panel that controls basic things like cron jobs, keywords, just the basic stuff.

11. Each report will need to be tied to a user ID in the mysql database, so that the user can see their reports and download them at a later time.

I have a Magento installation that I need customised so that a visitor cannot checkout unless thay have a minimum quantity of 12 items (bottles of wine) in their cart. This quantity can be any number of different bottles of wine, red, white etc…

Ideally and if possible I want this only to apply to one category (wine) so that other products are purchased the 12 bottle minimum will not apply.

4 years of PHP experience and SQL database (for next projects) is a pre.

Initial project is $100 if finished in 5 days after accepting.

Once above action point are finished I pay $10 per hr but you need to be able to work next day on it.

I’m not a web developer in the least.
Please Look at the code and see if an experienced web designer with some knowledge of HTML, PHP and CSS (myself) can run this script and at least be able to add, edit and delete categories, mark comments as SPAM, tweak the CSS a little on his own. I assume they have an admin or control panel in the back end, right? Please let me know, otherwise I’m afraid I cannot use it.

I have a site that runs with cake .php

The file extensions is .ctp.

So the site has to render files in some convoluted fashion, which I don’t have a clue.

This makes it very tedious to alter the files becuase I can’t see a preview design of them, or change them on the wyzywig.

I can rename the file to .html, and alter it, but it doesn’t render it at all, I only see very minimal styling.

We offer our customers the ability to place backorders, pre-order and order items on request. We also would like to be able to have an item listed called Discontinued. We have 4 buttons that were already created that are labeled

Place Backorder
Order On Request
Pre-Order
Discontinued

We need to be able to have these buttons able to be selected for particular items, and these buttons need to be displayed to the customer on the front end. These buttons need to be clickable and the customer should be able to add these items to the cart and pay for them like an in stock item. For the discontinued item, the button would NOT be clickable. It would just show discontinued. We do this to generate traffic to the website.

My idea was to have check boxes under the inventory tab inside each item, with the ability to check one of these 4 boxes. If these boxes are checked, the normal “Add to cart” button would NOT be displayed, instead one of the 4 buttons that we choose would be.

We used to have this set up in OS Commerce when a qty was under -1000 the button displayed would be PreOrder. When the qty was -10001 the button would show Discontinued. This worked for Os commerce, but does not work for Magento.

If you have other idea on how this could work, we are open to suggestions, but for now the above idea is what we would like to shoot for.
