Coupon / Promotion Site
Hi,

My company is called Coupons on Campus. It delivers promotions and coupons to college campuses from surrounding businesses. The site would need a drop down menu so that users can choose their state and school as well as search for coupons. I need the coupons to be able to print as well as a login for businesses and myself to login and post the ads.

My company is extremely similar to campusspecial.com and would like something like that or couponcabin.com with a map feature built in also.

I have a server at a 3rd party hosting company.

The server’s shared/dedicated status is: Shared with other people.

Component Compatibility Protection:
Sometimes a programmer may create features on the website that rely on componentswhich work fine on their own server, but won’t work with your 3rd party hosting company’s server. There are many reasons for this including version incompatibility, restricted permissions, etc… Rent A Coder normally requires that the programmer verify in advance that your 3rd party hosting provider will support the components. If they do not, then they are responsible for any incompatibilities, rather than you. Do you want this protection on your project?
Yes, I require the programmer to query my hosting company in advance, to ensure that they support all components which the coder uses in the final solution (including supporting the anticipated version #s, allowing components to run under their potentially restricted security model, etc.)

Osdate -problemsolving(urgnt)
I have installed OSDate and made some minor adjustments to make it fit to an EscortBooking website.
After doing that i now have a issue when users try to register/Signup,
they get the error that the email adress is allready registered.
And I have removed the option where you add email adress.
But obviously i have forgorren to do it somewhere or added wrong values..

Hope to get this solved ASAP.

Website & Database Query
I have a website that already has a database on it and an administration panel setup where I can add, edit, delete information in my mysql database. I have it on one domain and have a search database setup to display the results from the database how I want it.

This project I have a brand new domain name hosted on same server as the database. I am wanting this new domain name to search from this database that is on the same server. Basically my website is for funeral homes. I want on my new domain name for it to pull a search query automatically for a certain term and as soon as you load my new domain name page for it to automatically show all the results based on the search query term I want. Pretty simple, but just not great at working with mysql queries.

As far as the layout I want you to just copy the website I have on there now that is already tied to this database onto this new domain name and just display the results just like I have on my site now.

It will start out in flash (animated 3D kid) already being created. Concept: 3D living Room, long hallway and a virtual Bedroom with many (hotspots) Bookshelves (books) English, Math, Languages, History, Science, Geography, etc. Also in the room, Musical instruments, Solar system, Computer desk, puzzles, microscope, printer, world Globe, play station, etc. (kids will be able to click on images and take quizzes, test etc.

kids- will have the option of uploading a photo of themselves or creating an animated charactor.

They can then earn play money/points based on correct answers. This play money will be used to buy or get discounted products or services by sponsors.

Teachers – Will be able to upload and create quizzes, test, submit homework projects into the site. IF POSSIBLE, CAN THEY BE GRADED?

Foxycart Import Zencart Info
We are moving from ZenCart to FoxyCart.

Everything of how the program works from buttons to setting up a full storefront will be needed.
