The database is similar to the standard Contact Manager Database Wizard in Microsoft Access, but my client requires it in Open Office.

Database will be used to store customer and trade contacts, and will be needed to produce reports based on certain criteria described further below.

All pretty simple upto here, nows the bit I cant do –

Client wants records of previous contact to customer – if you look at the microsoft wizzard database it logs contact notes, date, time when client speaks to customer.

Client also wants to set a date when next to contact customer – so cliet will run a report / query and it will produce a list showing who they need to contact on a set date, and only show records needed for that date.

Client also wants a report of all customers not contacted on their set date, so a tick box will be required I guess if client contacts their customer.

Also a report is needed on which sales guy called which customers on set date.

Can you add any other functions to this database that you think will be usefull????

Client wants multi user access to the database, so it can be updated by any sales guys at any time.

No interaction with internet or other software, this is a standalone database.

Please check out the microsoft wizzard as discussed, we almost want identical database to this, just with a few added date report functions.

Prerequisites for project are: you must be able to communicate in GMT -5:00. Must have IM.

I need someone to develop:

Registration screen – consists of 13 input fields and captcha.
The fields are: email, password (plus confirm), business name, business type (drop down), business category (drop down (multiple select capability)), image upload, contact name, phone, address, county (not country (dropdown)), about us and captcha. All fields are required.

Once input, an email is sent to the site admin stating that a new contractor has been registered. The admin must approve the registration before it is active or searchable from the search screen.

Search screen – is for searching for a contractor. This screen consists of three search criteria selections: county (dropdown), type (dropdown) and category (dropdown (one choice only)).

Display screen – all contractors that match the criteria are displayed in alpha order. Included in the display will be: business name, contact information and address information as well as the image if any and the about us.

The data must be stored in a MySQL database. We will supply CSV files with the types, categories and counties. They must be imported to the database.

All of these items must be developed by the freelancer.

I require the following code for 2 very simple VB apps/processes:

1st:
Basic “Folder Upload” application.

-Main window has a “FTP” setup button, where they can enter their website details: (website address, website username & password)
-Main window has browser button, which opens a dialogue box requesting the user to select any file within the folder they want to upload.
-once the user has selected a file, they can then click on the “upload” button, and the entire contents of the folder in which they selected the file is uploaded to their website.
-NOTE: unless the user specifies a different name, I need the application to create a folder on the website with the same name as the folder being uploaded.

2nd:
MySql Database & MySql User Creator.(for CPanel users)

-Prompts user to choose a name for the new database, and enter their domain name, webhost username & password.
-When user presses create button, the script connects to their webhost and creates a database with the name requested, and a Db user with the SAME name, and a randomly generated password. ie:

Db Name: myhost_MyNewDb
Db User: myhost_MyNewDb
Password: 4720567

I require the code for this to be usable in Visual Basic 2008 or similar so it can be modified by myself later for different situations.(Note- VB-6 requires translating before it’s usable in Visual Basic 2008, so is not suitable)

I actually have 2 applications that do exactly this, and I will provide them to the programmer in order to ensure my requirements are clear.

Hello guys i am not an expert (or close to that) in AS. I had to write a script that pulls image names out of a mysql database and load them into a flash. It’s some kind of slide show, 2 movie clips objects that go from left to right and when one reaches the end of the main frame borders then go back to starting position, change its picture and go from left to right again. I think that problem might be some memory leak (from the Loader). i have to finish this project ASAP and i need someone professional to help me fix this problem.
