This website should be coded in Coldfusion with a MySQL 5.x. I already have a theme, the layout and css written for this site. The site will allow users to create accounts in which they can then view reports based on the stored data. The users will purchase the rights to own an account via a PayPal pre-coded button which will be installed at a later time. The site will include 3 forms, one to capture the users new account info, and one that will email one of our experts directly, and a page that allows the owner to enter the players on their team. The site template has already been selected, so the designer will be responsible more for functionality than look and feel. Upon a users registration/sign-in, the home page will then give the user a more custom look based on the information stored in the user table. At this point the user will then be able to look at different reports via PDF’s and results of coded queries. Outside of the a couple of swapped images to give the user a custom feel, an email form and the one time original user info form, the site will be highly static. It will simply allow the user to look over information stored in our database(handled by imbedded queries, sorts), and reports created and uploaded by me.

The query driven pages will display the upcoming week projections and the upcoming year projections for Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Tight End, Kicker and Team Defense. These results pages must give the user the ability to sort the data by the requested categories. There will be a query page that gives the user an optimal starting lineup by using his players that he has entered and comparing them to the current weeks projections. There will be a query page that displays updated player news based on the players the user has entered as his. Please note this is AMERICAN FOOTBALL (NFL) NOT SOCCER, not that it matters for this project, but just so you understand. Thank you.

Details on the Classified Ads:

This Classified Ad will be free for users to post ads. The site will target on 4 countries mainly: I will need to have sub domains like under country for these.

I will need columns and areas allocated to put 3rd party advertising (example: google adsense adbrite and etc) both contextual and Image ads will be in. I will need you to know where to put this columns so that people will click them but at the same time, will not be irritated seeing them.

You will also need to design a logo for me and the favicon. I like it to be clean, neat and appealing with web2.0 style. I like the look/theme to be something like loot or kijiji. But the function to be something different as mine will be a free classified ad website.

User sign up is verified by email address. Email is auto generated by the system and the customer posting is completed once the customer clicks on the link emailed to them. Users then search for business ads that have been posted. Users are able to sign up and post their own ads. Users are able to submit pictures with ads. The system must be able to reject images that are bigger than the limit set.

I will also need a backend admin login (control panel) for easy administration. This must be flexible so that I can do changes in the long run to the website. All date will be housed in MySQL database. Must use “scrambled text” system to captcha to submit posting

I would like them to have 3 or 4 templates available for them to use for free. I would like my advertisements to automatically be placed on their site, unless they pay a fee to not have advertisements.

Then I hope with this new installation i will be able to paste data to preserve formatting codes like bold italics, table etc. If not to work on my site so that i will be able to do this.
As it is now, i cannot paste text with codes, everything is pasted as plain text and this is causing display problem on my site.

The project is to create an online food ordering portal (website), where the website will list the website based on the customer’s area/search and s/he can view the restaurants details and their menu, then order online for delivery or pick up. Similar to www.campusfood.com and www.eat2go.com.

How the system works (Step by step walkthrough):

First time users will be asked to register and create an account. The account will have a unique username as well as a password in addition to their detailed information which includes the area they live in (the area that they live in will be used to decide which restaurants are capable of delivering there), their credit card information if they’d like to pay online. We’d like to have an option where the user can have multiple locations and use multiple credit cards).

Once the user creates an account or has an existing account he is sent to another page where he has 3 drop down menus to select from (An option is given for the user to be signed in automatically and sent to this webpage on his next visits). First one is whether he wants delivery or pick up. Second one is the restaurant category (Asian, Indian, etc… or to show all restaurants). Third is to select one of the locations that is saved in their account, or input a new location.

Once they filter out their preferences the user will get a list of restaurants that meet their preferences. They would then proceed to their restaurant of choice and choose the food items they’d like to order by selecting what they’d like from that restaurant’s menu. Upon checkout they’ll have the option of either paying online by credit card, or by cash.
The order is then sent to the restaurant by either fax, SMS, email, or all three. A confirmation email is sent to the customer.
Requirements:

Support internalization ( for multi-languages).
Fax and SMS is sent to the restaurants in both languages regardless in which language the order was made

Restaurant list order should be in alphabetical order. However restaurants can be moved up the list by the administrator.

An interface for administrators where they can login and manage the site. Here are couple of the things I’d like the administrator to have control over:

They can blacklist a particular customer or IP address, home address, email address, phone number etc and such customers will be prevented from placing any further orders on the restaurant.

They can add, edit and manage the news and information in the homepage.

They can add and edit restaurants, menus, food items, and be able to categorize them.

They can manage restaurants public profiles and the menu card with add-on options. There will be settings like hours of operation, pickup option, delivery option and radius of operation, logo changing, minimum order / delivery price option.

Manage advertising as well as “featured restaurants” (This is basically moving the restaurant or a certain food item to the top of the list or in the featured food section)

Be able to send a fax, SMS or email alert to any customer or website

View a summary dashboard about the overall activity on the site

View detailed site statistics about events on the site

Create sub-admin users and selectively delegate rights in admin panel

I cannot get to see a product, it just displays a blank page. Also with the Quick Find I would like it to go to a results page and if it doesn’t find a product then to show the actual search form again on the main page. The other tasks are below, most of them are just asthetic styling just tweeking a few things.

1. Can you fix the ‘Whats New’ page to display newly products added products.

2. Fix the home page design so it looks like this, then link each image and title to the right category.

3. Make the Category pages look like the attached image:

a. So put the title of the current category above the breadcrumbs
b. Then put the intro text of the page next to it
c. Make the pagination show up above the categories/products
d. Style the pagination as the image please
e. Style the title, price of the products as in the image – please take off the cufon text replacement for the titles so it looks like below – make sure the ‘£’ is showing

4. Fix the site so it displays the product detail page as below please. As for some reason this isn’t showing now, it used to.

The database is similar to the standard Contact Manager Database Wizard in Microsoft Access, but my client requires it in Open Office.

General Notes (Memo)

All pretty simple upto here, nows the bit I cant do –

Client wants records of previous contact to customer – if you look at the microsoft wizzard database it logs contact notes, date, time when client speaks to customer.

Client also wants to set a date when next to contact customer – so cliet will run a report / query and it will produce a list showing who they need to contact on a set date, and only show records needed for that date.

Client also wants a report of all customers not contacted on their set date, so a tick box will be required I guess if client contacts their customer.

Also a report is needed on which sales guy called which customers on set date.

Can you add any other functions to this database that you think will be usefull????

Client wants multi user access to the database, so it can be updated by any sales guys at any time.

No interaction with internet or other software, this is a standalone database.

Please check out the microsoft wizzard as discussed, we almost want identical database to this, just with a few added date report functions.

Simple Online Inventory System

We are Printer’s and in need of a simple inventory system we can use to show clients how much they have warehoused with us.

We need this to run off of our website, with a simple login.

Clients will login and see only their items showing them product name and quantity, we would also like detailed logs per item showing when inventory was used or added to (this could also be search function where they could sort by date and item)

Admin would simply allow us to add users, add/delete products and modify inventory levels. We would also like to send out emails to the client when inventory becomes low.

This could use a MySql database or just a text file. What would be really beneficial for us is if we could do this through an offline excel/spreadsheet that our warehouse staff could modify and then we could upload/import if thats possible.

I think it would also be beneficial if we could as admins export all items to a csv file as well.
