Parse Xml File And Integration
I need to add the ability to type in a customer id on my website, then parse the returned xml file into my website.

WordPress Auto Posting Tool
I need to devise a way to auto post content to my blog using WordPress. Here’s what I need the script/plugin to do:

– you will pass the url of where the news/post is. Most of the content I’ll be working with will be in WordPress blogs as well, but some will not, so I gotta have options. Also will be working with both English and Spanish content.This can be done on a one-at-a-time basis or on a bulk job will be nice too.
– the script must be able to get rid of all unnecessary content (ads, header, footer, sidebars, etc) and extract only the content inside the post, with all existing comments if possible.
– Then it will “publish” all content to the wordpress blog, including images and/or videos and add all necessary info to the db. Once the content has been added it must not ne published immediately but rather go to “Pending Review” state.
– finally it must be able to automatically index to specific social networks/bookmaking sites (tweeter, digg, etc..) which I’ll let you know later.

Considering that WordPress is a script always in development and some of its features might change in future versions, you must be able to provide support if any of these changes causes the script to stop working. I’ll pay accordingly for this support when the time comes.

Adding Features To Project
Current project needs extra features adding, coding will mainly be PHP based.

Added features wanted:

Karma – allow users to like or dislike status updates by clicking a button on each shout.

Members online – a box on the right hand side bar should show how many users are currently online.

Tags – users can add tags to there updates, these tags can be entered in a separate box and the latest tags can be shown in a box on the right side bar.

URL Shortening – if a user adds a URL it is automatically shortened so it doesn’t take all the users characters.

Smilies – when a user posts a 🙂 it automatically inserts a pre-set smiley the same for 😀 8) 🙁 etc

Search – currently the search only allows for Photos and Updates but we would like to have the a members search so users can search for other members either by user name or e-mail address

Amend Update box – the update box is currently on the right side bar but we would prefer it to be moved to above the updates stream

Embed Video – allow users to embed video using a code but only able to add videos at the size 320×265 which is the smallest format on You Tube

One stream – currently in the code there is one stream for updates and one for photos, this should be changed to one stream so if someone posts a picture it also shows in the same stream. Also any videos appear in the same stream as well.

Depending on the offer we might wish to have all or just some of these features added to the current site.

Pool Builder Software Needed
I need a php software just like the one seen at http://bap.swimmingpool.com/launch.php. I don’t know who makes it but a client wants one on his site. Please do not quote till you have seen this script in action or can figure what script it is and you can get it.

Cpanel + Appstandard
Looking for someone to create a cPanel Plugin that will implement the applications packaging standard located here.

This Plugin should operate the same way fantastico does in terms of having an icon in the end cPanel interface that users can install applications via the apsstandard catalog, along with an admin interface in WHM that will allow you what packages you want to make avaliable. Parallels Plesk does this already and a screen shot can be seen as the attachment something along the same lines would be acceptable. Must provide source code for the completed project.

Squash Design Redesign

Squash Design is a clothing company – focusing on squash players. Selling clothing is a very tactile and emotional decision, so selling clothing online is a big challenge. We must design a site that address this challenge.

Things to consider in the design:

1. The design elements should speak towards the liveliness of the line and brand. We do not want stale – static design. Please do not use out of the box templates.

2. We will have s small line – but the line will be constantly (every
3 months) changing with new products

3. We have several world class players – they must be showcased throughout the site. We have a photographer who will be providing high quality images of our players in events

4. We also like to show normal average people (our squash community) members in the apparel – playing

5. We support events through the year – this must be captured and updated easily.

6. Tons of photos, video – this needs to be easy to update

We are asking for your design/creativity.
Requirements:

1. The base build will be a clone of http://www.lodgerfootwear.com/ As a base EVERYTHING in here will be in scope – with some addition, or minor modifications.

2. Homepage – please price out including a flash home page similar to http://www.adidas.com/us/homepage.asp. We have independent bids separate for this – please make sure you create the placeholder for this.

3. Menu should js like lodger page. If we change items – it should be easy to modify this menu. Please note the tabs in the menu.

Two Webpages + Photoshop
I need a graphically beautiful and Photoshopped “unofficial fan site” of 2 (bilingual) pages for this young talented singer: http://alturl.com/cijo

Due time: most of the work should be finished within Saturday evening (Italian time) because there will be a probable pick of visitors on that time, in correspondence with a TV show.

SECTIONS OF THE SITE:

– HOMEPAGE: a beautiful homepage with, in the upper part, his picture (take it here http://alturl.com/nf72 or make a screenshot in one of his videos that you see in this same page) Photoshopped with a beautiful artistic background. – FORUM: the forum is the main purpose of the site. Keep the current one and keep it visible in homepage with the current 4 channels/boards all visible in homepage like now.
To recover some space and to align its look and feel with the rest of the page(s) you can modify the graphic and/or remove the unnecessary headers/footers
– EVENT page (link from homepage): a page where I list the future events where he will sing. Create a dummy page with the same look and feel of the homepage and put 3 fake events, I will then modify the text of the events by my own
– ABOUT CRISTIAN (link from homepage): only a link (not a page that you have to create like the previous) that points to a Wikipedia article

OTHER SPECIFICATIONS:

BI-LINGUAL: the site (the few words that it contains…) must be bi-lingual, English and Italian. I’m native Italian so please ask me for translations if needed.
The “.it” domains must automatically display the site in Italian while the .com/.net/.eu domains must automatically display it in English.
In both the cases two little English and Italian flags must allow to manually change the language.
The forum content is the only part that will be shown in both languages like now disregarding the active language of the site.

NON-COMMERCIAL NATURE: it must be rigorously non-commercial. You should avoid/remove any links to commercial sites.

LEGAL CONTENT and DISCLAIMER: it must only contain legal material, i.e. no copyrighted pictures or videos explicitly and simply copied.
Furthermore the fact that the site is unofficial, i.e. that it’s not owned by the singer, must be evidenced in homepage (preferably in footer).
You can add the disclaimer “I do not have contact with the singer or his managment.”

Magazine Web Site Add-ons…
We are building out a new site for a magazine and they need 4 add-ons — not sure if we want to use premade software or if we should purchase 4 different premade softwares and have them installed (which i would think would cause conflicts on the server) –
Here are the add-ons:
1. Content management system (nothing unique here — need ability for administrator and users to have access to certain areas of site — regions only for some — for text and graphic/photo management, also pdf downloads; also an SEO management area to add keywords within CMS that post to meta tags
2. Banner advertising management system including payment (customers can buy ads online w/ e-commerce transaction) – need to measure impressions and be able to upload banners
3. Job posting management system – including payment (customers can buy text only ads, schedule length to be up)
4. Blog – secure so posts can’t go up without approval
