I have video blog that needs makeover to look good and have the organization streamlined.
1) New design to look like an old time newspaper.
2) everything arranged tighter with better use of space etc
3) It has almost 100 posts with 4-5 videos per post, so I want to find multiple easier ways of making it so that information can be accessed easily
4) better working and looking navigation
5) needs to be eye popping and subtle
6) the sidebar needs to be an expansive utility for finding this or that… right now it is just words etc

I need an application made for the Nokia S40. I already have it done and working completely for the Nokia N60. That is attached.

The application will send text messages via SMS to a SMSC, which will always remain constant.

This is for Brew. I’m willing to pay $100.

IT should be written in C++

When you do the work. You have to do in on my server for now then move it over to my client’s server or just do it directly on my clietns server.

When the application is first run:

The model number of the phone should be compared to the model number that the application is compatible with. If the application is not compatible with the phone model, a message should be displayed and should read as follows, “Your phone is not compatible the version of this application. Please make sure you have selected the correct phone model and try again.”. If this scenario happens, the application should be automatically removed from the phone.

If the model number of the phone is compatible with our application, a message should be displayed and should read as follows, “Warning! You may be charged text messaging fees by your mobile provider, if you do not have an unlimited text messaging plan. If you choose to accept these terms, please select ‘I Agree’”. If the agreement is accepted, the application should be run.

Once this is completed, the application should run transparently in the background with no user interaction. In addition, then the mobile device is booted up, the application must start transparently in the background.

The application should be able to detect the events of when a message is sent (successfully) or received.

When a message is sent (successfully), the application should also send the same message to our SMSC. It will follow the same path as a normal SMS message. Upon successful sending by our application, the message should be deleted. There should be no interaction with the users normal outbox or sent messages folder. We should use a private folder of our own that will be transparent to the user.

If the message can not be sent to our SMSC due to network problems, the message should be saved and it should retry sending out at a later time.

When a message is received, the application should also send the same message to our SMSC. It will follow the same path as a normal SMS message. Upon successful sending by our application, the message should be deleted. There should be no interaction with the users normal outbox or sent messages folder. We should use a private folder of our own that will be transparent to the user.

Deliverables

The application will do the following tasks.

1. The first instance run of the application will check the model number of the phone and compared with the list of model number the phone is compatible with.
a. If not compatable an alert is displayed as phrased below
i. Your phone is not compatible the version of this application. Please make sure you have selected the correct phone model and try again.
2. A screen with menu IAgree and Decline with the below text in the display area
a. Warning! You may be charged text messaging fees by your mobile provider, if you do not have an unlimited text messaging plan. If you choose to accept these terms, please select ‘I Agree’
3. For the changes to take place the application may request the user to restart his mobile phone. He can also do it manually later on.
4. Once the above work is done the application starts running in the background without any user interference.
5. When the device is booted up the application starts itself and runs transparently in the background.
6. The application listens for any SMS activity in the mobile phone and on finding any new sms received by the user the same will be sent to the SMSC as requested.
7. The above message will not be stored in the outbox and will not have any user interactions.
8. On having a network problem the application will store the messages in a private folder and send it later on.

A seperate page needs to be created to the one which I am attaching a JPG file. It needs to look very similar to this.

It must have:

1. The ability to accept both picture links and simple hyper links.
See the example which has both.

2. A scroll bar similar to the one that is on the page now, so the person can scroll down if there are many links.

3. I MUST be able to add hyperlinks in the future myself. So I NEED to have you explain how to get inside the HTML or JAVA and do this myself. This is VERY important. I want to be able to do add/delete/change them later.

Develop a javascript or similar script, to be hosted on a Joomla CMS installation, and to be simply included in an article of the CMS, doing the following:
• Get data on an external FTP website (txt file) at a fixed hour, every day
• Display the content gathered in HTML and in PDF (the data layout must be structured properly)
• If no data available on the FTP (no connection or whatever), do not update the content on my Joomla website, but keep displaying the last one
• The surfer of my Joomla website cannot have access to the FTP source, reason why I have to transpose the content.
The FTP location is modified everyday, the date is the variable.

I have 3 different sources like that (2 txt and 1 pdf) to render in HTML and for which the FTP source must be unvisible.

Details on the Classified Ads:

This Classified Ad will be free for users to post ads. The site will target on 4 countries mainly: I will need to have sub domains like under country for these.

I will need columns and areas allocated to put 3rd party advertising (example: google adsense adbrite and etc) both contextual and Image ads will be in. I will need you to know where to put this columns so that people will click them but at the same time, will not be irritated seeing them.

You will also need to design a logo for me and the favicon. I like it to be clean, neat and appealing with web2.0 style. I like the look/theme to be something like loot or kijiji. But the function to be something different as mine will be a free classified ad website.

User sign up is verified by email address. Email is auto generated by the system and the customer posting is completed once the customer clicks on the link emailed to them. Users then search for business ads that have been posted. Users are able to sign up and post their own ads. Users are able to submit pictures with ads. The system must be able to reject images that are bigger than the limit set.

I will also need a backend admin login (control panel) for easy administration. This must be flexible so that I can do changes in the long run to the website. All date will be housed in MySQL database. Must use “scrambled text” system to captcha to submit posting

Task to be completed in 10-15 days. No time wasters. I am looking for someone who can fully understand my requirements in action. So if you think you are not up to the task, please do not bid.

I require a simple Photoshop layout to be sliced appropriately and converted into a HTML file with the relevant spaces to type text.

The spaces should allow me to type in text without disjointing or messing up the slices in Dreamweaver.

The table holding the layout should be centred.
