I have a site, which a PHP programmer from scriptlance has almost completed. He has coded all the PHP but there are one or two little adjustments that need doing:

example 1
make the form fields to only accept alphabetical characters not alphanumerical so that when someone puts their Location as London that field wont accept London9 for example.

example 2
the other thing i need changed is when people do a search like on craigslist and only search one category e.g search only for females, all ages and only in London, then once the search results are shown, the category FEMALE should stay as the selected category on the drop down menu so that the user doesnt get confused about category theyve just searched.

the rest is mostly CSS which i can guide you with because i have designed precisely to the pixel where i want everything to be positioned on the layout e.g banner ads, navigation bar, logo etc. so i will send you the .png files so that you can see the pixels using guidelines in adobe Fireworks cs4.

so aslong as you know PHP, HTML and CSS then you should be able to finish this site off.

the site is 90-95% finished so very little work to be done and should be done within a day or two realistically if you are experienced.

i will send you the link to my hosted site so you can see what my site is but only after we have had initial discussion on here.

I need a Magento pro to fix error caused whilst installing Oggetto e mail report extension and uninstalling Scalena News extension via Magento Connect Manager.

You will need to look for the previous backup of website in the cpanel to use to restore or you may need to reinstall new magento.

Hi,

I have a website problem, and i need a freelancer for it.

1. Dates in guestbook inlays are wrong. (database possible?)
2. www. instead of core. (http://core.domain.com/index.php/svenska/start) should be (http://www.domain.com/index.php) without removing the subfolder.

Can you make this work?

Troubleshoot Site Down
We have a web server that is running our website.
It runs on Vista using IIS and MySQL PHP.

We have the problem of it going down where there is a blank page only.The site is still online because we have no Page Unavailable errors.

We have other subdomains of the site like DEV. that work perfectly
but only the www part goes down.

Its been happening for a month and I need it fixed.
(We have moved the site to another folder, restarted IIS and restarting the machine actually solves the problem)

Paypal Adaptive Payments Api
I currently run a website that allows members to upload items that all other members are able to promote and earn a commissions on.

Payments are currently handled by paypal but I would like to transfer the commission procedure over to the new API.

I want to use the adaptive payments API so the entire payment is made to the ITEM OWNERS paypal account.

Behind the scenes the affiliate is given his commission and my site takes its fee for every sale made.

The item owner and affiliate should split the paypal fee, so my sale fee does not incur any cost from paypal. If there is no affiliate, the item owner should pay the entire paypal fee.

I have attached paypals adaptive payments PDF but ideally you should be at least already familiar with it.
