Magento Site Move Needed 2

We need a Magento expert to move one of our Magento sites to another server.

Both servers are running cpanel.

We have copied files which seems ok, but every time we try and do db import it doesnt seem to copy the table data and so no products show, only default theme shows, so we have pointed domain back to old server until we can get someone to move properly for us.

We will use you again for many further Magento projects.

Site is located at www.b o r d o n a n g l i n g c e n t r e.co.uk (gaps added to stop search engines picking up domain name)

This is urgently needed as we need to get rid of old server within 2 days, but prefer this to be done tomorrow. Should be very easy if you have the right experience.

Fix Php Script Simple Issue 2

Hello:

i have a php script that get summary and movie info from IMDB.

Load a movie list, do random and use imdb function to get info.

But there are some problem because when tried to find for example Robin Hood..

get info of Old Robin Hood movie… this happens with many movies.

What i need…

I need the script read the movie list with IMDB Movie

Example:

Robin Hood:ID
Iron Man 2:ID
Alice in Wonderland:ID

So the script ll no use the movie title – ll use the specific ID…

Now the script is searchin only names, no id.

Its very simple…

Redirect Page

I have 2 existing sites that needs to be redirected to the new domain we just bought that represents the companies actual name.

Scope of the project

Existing site will remain but when someone clicks on the domain from a search engine results, it will go to a redirect page and let them know that they are being redirected to. This also applies if someone just types the URL in the browser.

Redirect page will be in flash or some sort of programming that looks professional. I do not want a blank page with some writing that just say you’re being redirected.

Page can be a city back ground with a limo that looks like its driving through or something to this affect

Joomla And Virtuemart Upgrade

I have a website that is a fully functioning in Joomla and Virtuemart.

The site has a customized template for Joomla 1.0.x.

I need the site upgraded from Joomla 1.0.15 to 1.5.14 (or latest stable version), also Virtuemart is now at 1.0.14 and will need to go to 1.1.4 (or latest stable version).

You will be responsible for backing up the entire site (database and all code, etc) make the update, and make sure the site is still functioning properly — including making sure the existing template is still working.

This needs to be done within the next 2-3 days

We are looking for a customized Template for Joomla 1.5.15
The proposed template should look similiar with “rhuk_milkyway”, but is better designed and has more functions.
The template should be suitable for human rights campaigning web site (non-commercial), can be in light gold, light gray or NOT too bright colors.
Features needed:
– Fast loading.
– Width: 1024 pixels or similiar.
– 3 columns: Left and Right columns for advertising and article listings. Center column for Frontpage articles. Columns should be divided by a think line.
– Body text in the center column should have a margin of 10 px on left and right margin.
– Body text should be about 10 pt, Arial with space between paragraph at about 135% of line height.
– A User #10 Module added at bottom of the center body column — above the Footer section but still within the center column.
– With Font Size Selector.
– Top Menu Module position available.
– Unicode fonts capability.
– Video and Audio module ready.
– PPS/PPT slide show ready

Is their such a thing as too big? Apple don’t seem to think so! They’ve gone and supersized their plugins! Crazy!

Step 1: Where’s My Glasses!

If you’ve ever used a laptop live you’ll know that squinting at the screen to find a parameter to tweak doesn’t say, “Look at me, I’m a rockstar!”. It says, “I need some new glasses!”.

Grab the bottom right hand corner and drag with any of Logics built in plugins and….Blam! A giant Behemoth of an interface will fill your screen. I swear you can see it from fifty feet away!

That’s not a plugin…..this is a plugin!

No more squinting at the screen for you my friend! You are now able to run about on stage or point aimlessly into the crowd whilst drinking a beer knowing you’ll always be able to find the Filter Cutoff at a glance!

As yet this is only possible with native Logic plugins but maybe we’ll see support in 3rd party ones too. It’s going to put a whole new spin on Native Instruments Massive!

Step 3: Panel Problems?

Speaking of laptop screen real estate, this is a problem that bugs me. The Region Parameters (I use these heavily) cut off the top of my channel strips in the the Inspector and hinder plugin tinkering. You either need more than 800px height on your monitor or a way to view both.

Step 4: Float that Parameter Box!

The cure! Go to Options -> Region Inspector Float. Turns the panel into a floating window allowing you to obscure important audio and MIDI regions. Oh well, you can’t win ‘em all!

Step 5: The Holy Grail of Display Prefs?

One final thought on the topic of Display preferences. Will Logic ever let you set a custom image as your background? I mean they they let you choose bright orange!…so why not a custom image? You can do it in Mainstage after all.

Cgi Formmail To Php Form

It’s so much easier to view the attachment and as you can see from the attachement (phone numbers and contact info stripped), there are many input fields. Currently, the entire page works perfect in CGI FormMail but my hosting company is switching to PHP SMTP verified mail so the form needs to be in PHP. However, the world won’t come to an end if I can’t get the SMTP function working as, worst case scenerio, the form can be sent from the server and bypass the SMTP verification. I can do my own server installation.

I need this relatively soon and have little money to work with… you may know trucking is next to worthless with our economy the way it is… Please help if you can ! Thank you.

Ipod Music App

I want an app for Apple Ipod/iphone. I want an app, that allows the user to to record their own song or humming of a song, and have the app add the background music and beat, based on their selection, so if they wanted to create a rock song, they would press their voice key or other key to record there voice singing, then the app would add a rock tempo to the background. would like different options for genres of music and options for the background music as well, like brass, wind and so on for instruments. I want the programmer to have the idea which I have briefly described her and design the app for me to sell on itunes/iphone site. I have the patent and trademark for the title and app. would like the finished song to be able to be saved in iphone for use as ringtone, or emailed as mp3/mp4 file format. need the icon designed as well.
