Drupal – Import Script
Scope:
-Need to implement a script for Drupal6 to import cck data from a file.
-You can use the following links links as a guide:
-A script should be intelligent enough to update a record, instead of inserting,
if a record with the same primary key already exists.
-A primary key field is one of the cck fields, present in an import file.
-Certain cck fields are multi-value, ie contain an array of values.
-As far as I understand, a custom module with this script should be created (I may be wrong)
-The file format is tsv ( tab delimited) ,but I’ll be happy if an xml import format can be implemented instead without increasing the cost of development
-delimiter for values in a multi-value field is a pipe “|”
-the script should fill in all system fields ( type, created, date, format, log etc)

use case:
– a user gets to the page, e.g. cck_upload.php
– an import file already resides on the server side, accessible by a php script
– an input field with a default full file name(eg /var/www/drupal/import.tsv) and an “import” button is displayed
– a user clicks a button “import”
– a script goes through a list of records in a file, and either creates objects or updates existing ones
– create an log file in the same directory as an import file with a log message for each – for each imported record there should be an output of its primary key, status (imported/not) and an error if a record is not imported. the name of the log file can be just “the name of the import file”.log

cck data type:
id ( cck field, primary key)
title (a standard node field)
body (a standard node field)
field_product_small_image (an cck field)
field_product_features (an cck multi-value node field)
taxonomy ( a standard node field)

One last note: I’m looking to establish a long-term relation with a developer(s),
because this is just one of many features I need to develop for a new product reviews website, which is based on Drupal

Plagiarism Program Needed R
I need a copyscapedotcom program installed on my essay site so customers can access my site then click the button called plagerism checker then they will be able to scan their essays in it to check for plagiarism if they want to , also i will link a merchant account to you need to know how to install a merchant on it so the customer pays for a 1 time use of the scanning program up front then they can actually use the program and paste their essay inside the text box and hit scan and a lit of sites will pop up if their essay is copied , they can then click on the site and actually see which parts of their essay were copied form the site if it was copied at all. If their essay is not copied it will simply say no results found. Basically I want it just like copyscapedotcom but on copyscapedot you can buy multiple uses i just want to make it simple and do a 1 time charge type of set up . Must be very good with programming and must start asap.

Facebook App – Stream Rss Feed
1) We have an rss feed of content that a specific facebook user would like to stream onto his facebook page as his own

Bike Rental Booking Script
Hi, this will be a single project to design a booking script for rental of electric bikes. No payment processing will be needed. Front and backend required.

Frontend

Customer chooses to rent bike for set amount of time and chooses bike. Confirmation email is sent to customer and myself.

Backend

Add additional bike numbers and styles etc

CAN BE based on any open source PHP script.

Edits To A Facebook Style Webs
Hi
I have got someone do design a facebook style website. The site is finished I need someone to test it, redesign it and add signup partners.
I need for visitors when they sign up to my website to have teh option of signing up to partner websites. Once they sign up to my website, their detaisl will automatically sign up to the partners website.
Someone has suggested the following methods, I need someone in UK or Americal who speaks fluent english to take up this job.

1. Speak to your partner companies and see if their developers can create a table for you on their db that you can write to. That way, using PHP (or any other authoring language), you can create a form that not only writes the information to your DB, but also to their DB at the same time.

2. Create an RSS from your information in your user table. Release this RSS to your partner companies, as they would be able to get their developers to write a script that would automatically take new entries from the RSS feed and input into their DB.
