P.S. I know that there are component out there that are a copy. I do NOT need that. I need something that you can create yourself. Must be a JOOMLA component.

Design+install Joomla Website
For one of our clients we would like to have a professional website designed and build in Joomla. The basic delivery must contain:

– Design of website (we will give detailed examples and info)

Design will be discussed with client and changes probably are wanted so there needs to be room for redesign. After ok of client:

– Design built into a Joomla template
– Install of Joomla including template on server
– Activate first few pages (rest we will do)

See attached an example of a website design they like.

We would like to have the first design within max 3 days. Total walkthrough of project about 2,5 weeks strikt since it has to be online before 25-2-2010 and we need to do the filling before that.

Redesign Optimize And Convert

Looking to have dedicated server setup properly with mail, ftp, etc and fully optimized for high traffic, the current server (fedora) has a mail server for incoming and outgoing mail sent from the server.

Web Site Conversion
Overall project- Web site conversion from a php/xhtml site to Joomla framework with an extension to a Joomla CMS. Old site is still up and functioning and available for reference. New site Joomla framework has been started and is also up and functioning. Ready for development. New graphics done and avail via PSDs. Need conversion to Joomla
 
1st Stage- Demonstrate programming capability- AJAX, CSS, Javascript based programming to make Shot Chart component/module. Will use data from custom MySQL db to display location of made/missed shot attempts. Will be able to select by team, player and period. Graphic design (via PSD) will be provided. See attached pic for example.
 
Successful completion of stage one will result in consideration for stage two award.
 
2nd Stage- develop and implement Joomla modules that connect to a custom MySQL DB. A lot of re-use so each module is not a complete re-design. Open to DB support as well. Please see references.
 
Integrate the modules to the Joomla site with proper css/xhtml coding. 6 frontend designs in PSD are provided. Further discussion required – must be xhtml, css validated clean code. Markup must be simple, clean and valid.(cross browser including IE6)

Sidenote: PSDs were done by good graphic designer however they were not necessarily properly layered for Joomla. You are expected to make amendments and properly layer it. You will deliver back css xhtml and psd files. Business logic of the project and other communication will be discussed in details via email, skype and /or phone

Joomla Project – Fishing Trip
I am programmer who is working on the website fishfromit.com. The website is an informational website for fishing and it includes a listing of fishing trips. Users can search for and book fishing trips online. (This is similar to expedia.com or travelocity.com, but all the trips are fishing related).

I need to find a programmer who can help me finish some items that I do not have time to complete.

1) Fishing Trip Search and Reservation Engine
We have purchased Reservation Manager Pro. http://webformatique.com/reservation-manager-pro.html. This is a listing and reservation component for hotel rooms. We need to customize this component so that it works for fishing trips…create new custom fields. I will upload documentation showing all the required changes shortly.

Persons that are Fishing Guides (Joomla user type) would be able to manage their own listings. Add listings, edit listing and delete listings.

2) Fishing Guide/Fishing Company Search Engine
We also need a tool that will allow users to search Fishing Guides…search for and locate guides based on criteria they specify.

3) Fishing Guides/Fishing Companies Display Page
There needs to be a “landing” page for each Fishing CGuide/Company. Display their bio, photo and upcoming trips.

I envision using Res Manager Pro to complete all of the above. However, I am open to different ideas. For instance, we have also purchased and installed JomSocial. If anyone has any suggestions regarding better components that we could use, please let me know.

For your initial response please provide:

1) Pricing. This will most likely change once the document with the complete specs is uploaded.

2) Examples of Joomla components you have worked with and customized in the past.

3) A description of how you plan to achieve the required items…will you use Res Manager Pro or other tools.

I am looking for someone to develop a classified site– it has to be capable to be translated into Spanish.
The best solution I have found so far is from Esvon. I would be willing to purchase Esvon´s code and have the developer (you) optimize it in graphics and look and feel.
Essentially I am building a spanish classifieds site and am looking to compete by having a better designed product. My competitors uses Esvon and it works well, I just want to optimize it and make the look and feel superior.

We have a new Joomla site and I would like to set up audio section

But we would like your suggestions. We would like for the audio player to be a pop up if possible or at least have the ability for users to make pop up. We would also like our Comments component to be integrated some how.
