This project is to integrate a php web application into a joomla site. The web application has been written with its own login but I now want the application to be wrapped inside Joomla so I can use all of Joomla’s functionality and features. The key is to have joola send the Login name to the application’s script so the application can retrieve user information based on the current user. The application store information about the current user and uses a login session variable to track the user.

EmergencyGlassRepair.com is a website where consumers can receive a quote for windshield replacement or repair by typing in their zip code, fill out a form and the information on that form will be both emailed and mobile text message to the designated local dealer. We need a website cloned with all the same functions, pages, forms and layout as EmergencyGlassRepair.com. Website will be designed with new images and colors approved by us. You can use current content as place markers. We will replace with our own. Fields for the forms will remain the same.

Deliverables include:

•Fully functioning website based on www.emergencyglassrepair.com
•Site is SEO friendly with Google Analytics included.
•Website will be uploaded into CPanel administrative system.

Functionality:

– Consumer will be able to come to the website and enter their zip code and fill out a detailed form answering questions about their car or home and submit the form for a quote request.
– The form should have a Captcha field to avoid spam.
– The form will be sent to local dealer based on zip code by both email and text messaging to their phone.
– System should be able to qualify if email address and phone number provided by consumer is valid. 10 digit phone number with area code required.
– System must recognize the user’s location by referencing the IP address to qualify the quote request based on zip code entered.

Administrative:

•Ability to control the site through a CMS interface (perhaps Joomla?), so that an administrator can login remotely and update anytime. (No to WordPress)
•Ability to update blog through CMS interface
•Ability to create and delete unlimited user accounts for local dealers that will receive the submitted quotes by email and text messaging.
•When creating user accounts, ability to administer which user will receive bids based on auto glass, home windows, commercial windows, etc.
•When creating new user accounts, ability to administer which user will receive bids based on zip code locations. (Ex: dealer in zip code area for new York will receive all requests for quotes from consumers located in the New York area)
•Full accounting of each user account for total leads sent to them bi-monthly with invoices emailed to them and system to automatically charge dealers credit card.

Dealer account functionality:

•Dealer can login to their account to change profile or billing information
•Review list of all quote request emails sent to them. Categorized monthly.
•Ability to click on each item in list to view detailed information from the form that consumers filled out.
•For accounting purposes, the ability to click on button to dispute each contact on the list if information was false due to inaccurate email or contact number submitted by consumer.
•The ability to click on button to acknowledge if bid was successfully won.

Once this project is developed successfully, we are looking for a developer that can service, update, and insert this site platform and functionality to other websites for different industries.

Home:

1. Put the logo position like module
2. Fix bug on roll-over for all the oranges buttons on: Client Access, the one after Subscribe and the plus sign after Read More
3. Design the topbar like on the template
4. On the bottom menu, on roll-over the section names should turn blue.
5. Add roll-over image on the plus button after More info on the big image.
6. Allow a bit more of space between the word subscribe and the orange button (top bar)

Inside pages- General
1. Please allow 35 for the left margin around all the pictures. For the bottom margin allow 20.
2. On the body text, please before any subheading, allow double spacing and after, one space.
3. Please allow a minimum space of 85 px between the lowest bit on the content page and the light blue area with the bottom nav.
4. All the images should be 310px wide. The high can vary, always trying that this high matches the last line of text next to it (when possible)

This site uses dynami404 which cleverly finds the page with the closest content. Although dynamic404 should not create any problems, 2 people have tried but failed to accomplish this task. We manage dozens of Joomla sites so if you do a good job, we will hire you for other joomla jobs.

Working on a project that requires the checkout process to be altered in Virtuemart (1.4) – Joomla 1.5.15.

The site will work with “No Account Creation”. Moving from the basket to the checkout the default install directs users to the registration form requesting the Billing information etc .

I need to customise this (or skip and create a page) to include two optional addresses e.g. a shipping address or a an alternative delivery address plus two text areas for notes and a radio button selection.

Upon completion the user is taken to the payment page, bypassing the current default which returns the billing information and asks for an alternative shipping address if required.

Shipping cost should be calculated as is the default in Virtuemart. All customer input should be stored in the default locations in the virtuemart tables as this information will be required for order forms and invoices.
