Php Plugin Edit For WordPress
I have a small plugin written in php for wordpress.

the plugin searches for related blogs by TAGS (found from yahoo api) and places the related blog links in the posts i make.

I need you to:

1) Switch the method from tags to ‘TITLE of my post’ for related blogs. i want more relevance as tags pull unrelated blogs. (you will have to disable the pulling tags from yahoo function.)

2) make sure there aren’t the authors websites being injected into my pages like the ‘pingback’ plugin (which this is based on) does.

note – u should know wordpress as this has setting that can be altered in wpadmin.

Fix A WordPress Theme
This will be an easy job for the right person. I have a word press theme that is not diaplying correctly after installed. It works correctly on the site I downloaded it from but not on my site. I need you to fix the theme and look at the code to make sure it is can provide a stable content management platform.

WordPress Plugin Fix
I am seeking a php programmer with experience in wordpress plugins.

The plugin wp-o-matic is no longer supported by the author, and it has a glitch when used with wordpress 2.9.

If you respond to this post, please list your specific experience with wordpress.

This plugin grabs posts from specific feeds, and re-posts them to a wordpress blog. The problem is that sometimes there are duplicate postings — sometimes a long list of duplicate postings.

There was a fix that supposedly worked prior to wordpress 2.85, however it is not working with 2.9.

The programming should be simple for a person who has experience with these plugins.

If I cannot solve this problem with a fix, I will try downgrading wordpress to an earlier version and see if that works.

Fix A Bug On WordPress Plugin
As the wordpress plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/digg-digg/ is resulting in lots of javascripts for each bookmark such as Digg, Facebook, Yahoo Buzz and others, thus slowing down the speed of loading the page substantially, I need to comment out the javascript code for each of these plugins now shown at the very top before each blog post is made, and then save the image for each respective bookmark as a graphic hyperlinked to the bookmarking url.

This ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION on top would achieve the same result, but load the blog and its pages MUCH FASTER !!!

Prefer WordPress Experts who frequently install WordPress Plugins to perform this job, as they will be more familiar with WordPress and its Plugins. Payment for a job fully done and not partial completion !!!

Custom Design WordPress Plug 2
Please do not bid if you do not know how to create a wordpress plugin from scratch. This is not going to be used on a post or page in wordpress. It will be integrated into the simple.php file of my custom theme. Details Below:

I am looking for someone who can create a slideshow for my template. It must go on the single.php theme file and be a link that someone can click to start the slideshow.

The new plugin would create a slideshow in wordpress. The owner can add the time delay. It should be able to show photos within a category and loop back to the first available image when it gets to the end. It should only show images within that category when showing the slideshow and it needs to work for whatever category is currently being viewed when the slideshow is activated.

It must be a stand alone plugin so that other can use it on their domains. It must work along with the photoQ plugin that I use to create my wordpress powered photography portfolio. The link must work for whatever category the visitor is currently viewing.

When you click the right arrow, it takes you to the next image. If you clickit every three seconds… you see all the images in that category. You can click on any of the three categories on the top right to view another category. notice that when you click on an image… you are able to use the right arrow to click through all of the images in that category.

There is a slideshow icon between the two arrows. A visitor should be able to click that arrow and it will automatically scroll through all of the images in that category.

I should be able to add as many images in a category as I wish and create as many categories as i like and that slideshow icon will simply activate the slide show of the existing category.

There should be nothing to do in the admin screen except set the timing of the slideshow in seconds. The rest should work automatically.

Add WordPress Dynamic Sidebars
Im using a wordpress theme called dovetail. It can be downloaded from wordpress.org (http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/search.php?q=dovetail)

It has one dynamic sidebar activated. The second is the ad-banner type space at the top not yet activated. (see functions.php file when you download the theme)

The project involves:
1)Activate the second ad-banner add and show me how to deactivate it in the future when in not running adds anymore.

2)Add 3 more dynamic sidebars and show me how to add more sidebars in the future, and deactivate them if i wont be using them.

I work with html but I’m limited with php. Based on discussions i researched, It seems to be pretty straight forward, i just can’t figure out how to add additional sidebars on my dovetail theme. Some related topics on adding dynamic sidebars:
