Quick WordPress Slider Design

I require a slider to be designed with text and icons/images for a Christian website (www.graceadv.org).

The plugin is supposed to resize and display an image to a blog post.

WordPress Install/customise

This job is based around installing a WordPress site to a domain, and modifying a Woo Themes install. There is no real design changes needed, just some minor structural changes. The owner needs the ability to modify content on pages

Site design brief:

– Using woo themes, the site should not look like a blog at the end, it should look like a static site, with static pages.

– There will need to be approximately 8-10 pages built.

– It will need a blog type section (a news page)

– There will be 5-8 basic plugins to install (Google Analytics, Headspace, Redirection, Sitemap generator etc)

– The URLs will have to be as SEO friendly as possible, so no /pageid=2, the URLs will read domain.com/pagetitle

Please contact me if there is further information required. I don’t believe this will be a very difficult task, however if it is done well, there are other sites that will be required.

Fix Wp Blog

I have a word press blog at http://www.chakra-balance.com/
This should be set up to run automatically. I use a plug in called ‘poster periodic’ which posts prewritten articles every day.
I have not looked at the site for some time and when I looked at it yesterday a lot of it has stopped working. Most of what you click on goes to ‘website cannot be found’ Only the external links are still working, and nothing has been automatically posted since last september. I need everything fixed! Thanks. Facebook Api And WordPress

I found a great plugin for connecting wordpress with facebook.
I created my facebook aplication and i installed the wordpress plugin.
I’ve connected them and it’s working.

There is few more things about blocking content by using it and i don’t know how to do it, here is an example of it:

Link for download is protected untill you became fan (like). My guess is it need some “if” code, so that if you’re fan, content is shown, if you’re not, then facebook box is shown over content.
I need this done.

WordPress Template Edits

I downloaded a wordpress template and modified it. There are a few things I can not edit.
1. Pop-up Box – I currently use wordpress as my main site, so the index page is part of the wordpress blog. I want a pop-up box to appear when someone enters my site. The pop-up box will contain a flash music swf so they can then choose to leave it open and listen to the music continually while looking through my site, or they can close the pop up box. Of course I want the pop up box to be smaller then the page, and have no browser border (if possible), and when the user returns to the index (home) page, I would like it NOT to bring another pop-up.
2. Widget Text – There is NO space between the widget text, I just want a small space. Here is the link to the site so you can see what I mean.. topratedpsychics (dot)com
3. Navigation Bar – Once I make too many pages, it breaks the layout up. What I would like to see happen is when I create more pages then the first line of the navigation can handle, then it would make a row ABOVE that row, starting from the right side. If you make it BELOW it, then I would have to get the header graphic updated. Also, there are no submenus… I would like a very simple submenu.
I can do the code updating myself, you just must provide me with the code and where it needs to be placed in the wordpress template. I assume these things are going to be very simple for someone to make and I need them as soon as you can produce them.
I will provide the template if needed…. .

I have a custom WordPress Layout and I need for child pages that I add to my main pages to appear in my navigation menu as submenus when you roll over them.

WordPress Pop-up Box

I am using wordpress as my web site, so the index page is part of my wordpress blog. I want users to be able to listen to music while they look through my site. I wanted to load a pop up box when they first enter my site. They can choose to close the box, or leave it open and listen to my music continuously as they search through my site. If possible, I do not want the pop up box to load a second time if they decide to return to my home page, because then there would be two pop up boxes.

If you know a better way to allow music to play without interuption as someone looks through my site, please do tell.

I can put the code in myself, so all I need is for you to tell me where to put it and provide the code of course.

**I want the pop up box to be smaller then the page of course, and if possible, I dont want the normal windows borders.. just the page.. I think they call that the chrome.. not sure..

need web site setup using wordpress. have domain registered and hosting account. have list of wordpress plugins i want to have added. this is a basic 5-6 page site setup with seo in mind.

Wp Blog Mass Deploy Tool

Goal: Scripts that take a fresh domain, install a blog on it, and configure that blog in a specific way from a remote configuration. This would eventually be used 100’s, to 1000’s of times for clients.

In a Secure fashion:
– have it create a valid unique database for the blog
– have it install/synchronize the version of wordpress from a central location (e.g. S3)
– install/synchronize the from a centralized location (e.g. S3)
– install/synchronize the themes from a centralized location (e.g. S3)
– configure the plugins (e.g. all in one seo’s settings)
– accept a configuration tree of keyword, turn this into the blog title, blog description and the blog categories and default tags
– setup some required pages (contact us, about us, terms of service) with copy from a centralized place

It can be a server side script and or wordpress plugin.
A somewhat similar product would be SimpleScripts or WP Cloner.
