We need a custom osCommerce component created that adds a meta tag to every page.

This is not an installation job.

We want a component created so we can distribute it through osCommerce.org.

The user would install the contribution and then be able to activate it which would insert this meta tag in to their site’s pages. By de-activating, it would eliminate the meta tag.

In the oscommerce admin, the user would be able to add a custom variable to the meta tag.

Using osCommerce 2.2, and we need to customize to specific splash pages to aim at certain demographic markets.

The idea would be to give each brand, or manufacturer a unique landing page as required, using a newsfeed from that manufacture to give fresh content on a regular basis with low labour involvement.

This would also involve modifying the database calls to reflect brand/manufacturer specific products. ie: Ford vs Dodge only, or DVD vs Blueray only products

A NEW and a FEATURED listing is available in our osC version, and would appreciate this being functional in this project.

Be mindful of a possible update to future stable versions 3.x and up in the future

Osc Bonus Points Fix Needed

I need help with OSCommerce website.

The bonus point system on that site is set for waiting until admin approval before reward points are given to the account.

When the admin assigns the points, the account stops working: error messages and errors shown on the page.

Is this something that anyone could investigate / fix for me? If so, let me know how much!

I have spent nearly a year making my website. Frogster has 4 main scripts, 3 that were ‘off the shelf’ and highly modified, and one mostly original that I have highly modified. Most of the design has been completed but it needs full css validation and some design elements to give it the finishing touch.

There is no programming required…..just reorganizing of the current CSS into a more efficient way and some design work. I will run through it briefly here. Further details can be forwarded to you on request:

The three off the shelf scripts (arcade, directory and social networking platform) all have their own CSS files. As I am making the whole site ‘look like one site’ rather than separate components, each module borrows heavily from other each others CSS files. It makes it inefficient and there are CSS errors.

I want you to run through the pages and fix css and display errors so it all looks good in Mozilla / IE at least. I have nearly done this but there are small errors and I know that the CSS is some parts is all over the place. The arcade should be pretty simple as there is only 4 or 5 pages or elements to fix, and the base css file for a lot of the site is based on this design. Also you will notice in the directory catagory box I have some dynamic boxes where when you click the up arrow the box disappears. I want this for the game box itself so users can click it and the reviews / leaderboard part jumps to the top of the screen.

The directory part relies on just a few pages too to display all the pages. Both the arcade and directory graphics are shown via a smarty template platform so all in, it is not a huge job, just pretty fiddly!

The social network platform has more pages, maybe 10-15 to do. Once again I re iterate that most of it has been done….so going through each page and fixing the CSS should not take too much time. I have not made this look like the rest of the site yet so there are some errors and it needs the css applying correctly to fit in with the rest of the site. Also the media playlist parts do not look right so need fixing (I cannot find where to put my contectual ad, you will see what I mean where I go to the area as it looks too thin)

The actual design part revolves around the search engine and front end pages. The search engine has a member area and also an advertiser area. Both are very similar and will need the same look. I will need these back – end pages designed to fit in with the rest of the site. It will basically involve making and applying a ‘template’ as the back end has a standard backend already (that has all been programmed) – I just need you to make some dynamic menu’s to navigate between the php pages (there are also tpl flat files). It’s a pretty simple tempalte system but there are 30-40 pages to do in there. The majority of the work will be the main login areas and the menu’s – the rest are simple variations on that page – all the the actual text and most of the layout areas has been done.

I will also need 4-5 front end pages. Tidy up the search results page to look better, a new front page that shows elements from the site (latest directory ads, latest social networking members and latest arcade games), also I need an advertise section designed which is just a page dedicatated to advertising on the directory and also a page on the PPC advertising part. All of these pages need to be done to make it look more profesisonal.

This part will be simple as I will supply the content………just make the actual page.

The last part is simply to run through images, clean them up if its needed (I think the arcade top end needs cleaning up) and thats pretty much it.

I would like a 468×60 banner done to advertise the arcade, and a tower banner -160px width) for the social part.

I will answer and questions accordingly……This job is pretty simple for a good designer, but is quite fiddly. I would really like it if you could make a ‘one login, login to them all page’, as at the moment you need to create a login for the search engine, directory, arcade and social network, but if a page could be made that sends login info to all parts (MYSQL databases), and then from the main login page you can access all parts of the site then it would be great.

I do need this done as soon as possible and also would like to see a few examples of your work before commencement.

Brief recap:

1. Tidy up CSS files and check validation on total 20-30 pages. Make social part conform in looks etc.
2. Design internal advertiser/member login pages for search engine
3. 4-5 Front end pages (I will supply content, just make the pages and areas)
4. 2 x graphics banners
5. One login for it all page on login / signup (if possible)
6. Validate whole site and clean up any untidy parts to make it look more professional.

We had a site go live in the past few days and have gotten feedback that there’s a good amount of small things that need to be fixed and things that aren’t user friendly. We need someone to go through every single area and feature of the site and find errors and things that do not look good or are not working as they should or not good to the user. Then we need you to give us a detailed document with the problem/error and it’s description and link. The next stage of this project will be to fix the errors and problems. please bid now only for the beta testing stage. We need this done ASAP as the site is already live and advertised.

I need an unblockable exit popup that works for both IE and FireFox.

The Exit Popup must only trigger when the online visitor closes their browser window/tab and/or when the online visitor presses the back button. If an online visitor clicks on a link on my site that leads to another page on my website or to a different website, nothing should happen. Again this exit popup should only trigger when the website is closed by the visitor. I do not want a popup that opens when the visitor simply moves their mouse towards the browser’s navbar or near to the back button or the close button tab. I need them to actually click the back button or the close (x) tab.

When the visitor clicks on the back button or the close tab then I want a popup to display that will incorporate any html code that I enter into it. I should be able to change the size of the popup window. I would like there to be an option to only display the popup once to the visitor. I would like the popup to display over the current website page with the current website page greyed out with a lightbox effect.

This script should work with both html and php files and should be simple to implement on any webpage code.

I will need to see a working version of this popup on your sample site before I will finalize payment to you. I will send you my html code to display in the popup to verify that everything is working properly on your sample site.

I am looking for a programmer that can allow me to add my video player into any PDF file so that the video actually displays when the reader views the page that has the video embedded in it.

I would like the program to work similar to programs like PDFILL but the only difference is that I would like for my own player to display in the PDF. I will provide you with the complete embed code for my player and individual video that you can embed into the PDF.

If it is not possible to embed my complete video player then I would accept being able to embed any video format like flv, avi, wmv, etc.

I will need to view a working demo of this on your sample website prior to finalizing the payment for this programming.

I have a special module I would like created for my oscommerce store, which will do the similar functionality as some of the photo collage generators availability online. I sell t-shirts and would like the customer to be able to select multiple images that are available in my store and add them to a special “collage” cart. This will be seperate from the shopping cart. We can show it in an extra info box on the right side, under the shopping cart info box.

We will add a tiny extra button next to all product images in the store and when the customer clicks on it, it will add that image to the collage cart. Once the customer adds all the images they want to the collage cart, and then selects ‘make collage shirt’ button, they are redirected to the module where they can have all the images that they have selected in the cart to be situated together on the front of the shirt.

Now, I already have a flash module in my store that allows the customers to customize their own shirt designs by uploading images, adding text, etc. You can add on to this module by making a new tab for ‘collage generator’ or you can make a new module on it’s own. However, I actually prefer it to be on it’s own module because their are still some bugs to be ironed out on the customizer.

I currently accept PayPal on my site for my premier membership program. I would like to add AlertPay now and take out PayPal (I do NOT want to offer both options).

When a member wants to become premier member, they are brought to another site and then after the payment is done there they come back to the main site and their Premier Account is activated and they receive extra points.

Please be able to add AlertPay as a payment method and have their accounts activate back on the main site after payment is completed.

I do have FTP access for both sites.
