WordPress Needs Completing
I have a website for a customer at the following URL:

The customer is happy with the website, however it need completing as it is not finished.

Basically, the website needs to be slightly wider (perhaps auto-resize), and needs to look 100%. So a cleanup of the design, fonts and whatever it takes to have the site presentable and completed.

No content entry is required as the client will do that.

Members Only Magento Feature
We are building a store in Meganto (community edition) and want to add members only access with the following features:

1. A guest user can only see login page and selected public pages (which we can determine in back end)
2. Guests can apply to become members either by a referral URL from an existing member OR they can type in a token/code on the account creation page
2. A guest who has created an account (but has no referral code) then is status pending until approved by admin

You should build this functionality as cost effectively as possible using existing free or paid modules.

Quiz Program – flashcards

Looking for a quiz program, with a flashcards type of approach. Layout will look like a program called “StudyMinder” from studyminder dutkom.

If you have ever used flash cards to help study for exams in high school or college, you know what a powerful study tool flash cards can be. Even better is having software loaded on your laptop that you can run through. There are a bunch of flash card programs out there, and many can be found on downloads.com. We checked several of them, but none had the key features we felt would make the program really good. Hence, the idea of creating our own.

To get an idea of what “flash card quiz software” looks like, you can look at the attached MS Word document. Basicly, the user loads up 100 questions and answers, and the software randomizes the questions, and creates a multiple choice question and answer session. With multiple choice, it throws in 3 random answers taken from the other 99 questions and answers.

When you start the project, you’ll want to download the demo version of StudyMinder from their website to get a feel for how good quiz software works. Load in 10 questions just to get a feel for it. I will create 10 easy questions and answers and attach that as a text file for you to experiment with.

Generic features common to all testing programs:
1. Importing: Just like in StudyMinder, the user prepares an ascii text file (or comma delimited csv with Excel) that has all of the questions and answers. The user can import this txt or csv file into the program and run the test.

2. Testing options:
Multiple choice
True and false
Swap questions and answers

3. When importing the questions and answers, the correct answer immediately follows the question.

4. The software will randomize the questions, asking them in a different order every time.

5. The software will randomize the multiple choice answers, providing 3 multiple choice wrong answers to go along with the true answer.

Important Features:
These are features that StudyMinder does not have, but that we definitely want to have:

1) No mouse. No need to hit the enter key. User will hit keys 1, 2, 3, or 4 for the answer. The response will pop up (saying either correct, or wrong), as well as a sound .mp3 or .wav file. (A happy sound for correct, a razzberry sound for wrong. Helps to reinforce the questions and answers for the user).

2) At the end, an option to “create a new subgroup” with all of the wrong answers. So if there are 200 questions, and the user had 60 wrong answers, a subgroup can be created that excludes the 140 correct anwers and now tests the user on the 60 wrong answers.

This subgroup can be saved or exported for permanent ongoing tests. This way the user can now just drill those 60 questions every day until mastered.

3) Scoring sheet.
At the end, the software will print up a list of all of the questions and the answers given by the student. It will show which were correct, and which were incorrect, and give a score for the exam. The user can print this out and have a hard copy. This will help show the student the areas they need to spend more time studying.

Google Map On My Website
Hi all,

I need a currently working picture upload tool embedded the InfoWindow of Google Maps. And, I also need the InfoWindow changed. The InfoWindow is the main place for both data entry and data display. Here are the details:
1. The picture upload code currently used on my website should be in the InfoWindow. As such, all the picture stored should be linked to (a) the user that uploaded it and (b) the location. The location is already connected to the movie scene shot at that location… yes, the website is about movie locations.
2. The current InfoWindow is too big (max size), but now I would like it to be an InfoWindow with Tabs. The picture upload tool resized all pics to 400px on the longer side. Hence, the InfoWindow has to be a little bigger than 400×400 to accommodate a picture. Again, the InfoWindow has to (a) be the place to look at this information, but (b) also is the place to enter this information when a user is logged in.
3. For all locations I would like a thumbnail to show up when a user hovers over a marker. This thumbnail should show the movie name plus a picture (if available).
4. The current map is too small, hence it has to be bigger. I believe I initially dedicated too much “real estate” to the top portion of the website.
5. Last, the search function currently only searches through movie titles. This needs to be extended to also search for actors and characters played. Making individual search buttons (find movie, find tv-show, find actor, find character) to search through the database would be best.

Video Stream Sound/video Issue
Hi,

I have a video streaming website (Custom made, NOT those commercial scripts you can buy or download) and lately, the users are complaining that videos have sounds issues. The first 10 minutes of the video is fine but then after the voice gradually does not match the video itself. Basically someone talks in the video and then 5 seconds later the voice plays. So there is a BIG gap between the video and sound. I need someone thats good with PHP/LINUX/SSH/ADOBE FMS server to troubleshoot this.

Some interesting things to know about this issue.

1. When the video and sound do not match anymore, I can skip the video a little bit and it will fix itself for like 5 mins and start to gradually not match again.

2. I downloaded a video that has the problem and played it with VLC and windows media player and it DOES NOT have this issue at all. Only when it streams from the website it has this problem.

Please know what your doing before bidding. I need this fixed ASAP.
