We are a recruitment specialist and we own a database and a website. Our database was developed in MySql 5 and Delphi 7 and has over 40000 records of people stored in it, with about 150 new registrants each day. Our website gets up to 1200 visitors each day. These two applications (i.e the database and website) interact and feed from each other in a rather manual way. This interaction involves loading vacancies from the database onto the website and downloading online applications from job seekers and save them into the database. We are now considering the alternative of web enabling our database so that the two applications automatically interact and thus allow our registrants to access the database and update their records online. In addition, this will also allow us to telecommute. We are looking for persons who can help us achieve this goal and develop such an integrated and web enabled system.

I currently have a program that is written in ruby that manages my voip switch and does the lcr, rating, invoicing.
I need a programmer to program for me the following:
a software that gives me a database with all my customers information, lets me add products, add services, remove products/services. Logs the changes.
Creates tickets for each customer every time they call and to have a ticketing system for the different departments to take care of.
Maintaining inventory of the devices that the customer recieves.
integration to a billing software that uses authorize.net merchants and gets the invoices from the database that is created by the switch software since it has the exact info.
When adding a customer the information should be stored in the like crm program and automaticly create an account on the switch using the API or writing directly to the SQL database.

ONLY PROGRAMMERS THAT HAVE DONE SOMETHING SIMILAR BEFORE PLEASE RESPOND WITH THE STRATEGY TO DO THIS!!

I’m using this project to find a great programmer!
I have an unlimited amount of work available – I just need to find someone who is a perfectionist, takes pride in their work and builds me amazing (and secure) things!

In general – I need an all round programmer.
But for this project, flash will probably yield the best results. Though there is potential for javascript etc.

I don’t mind which – just build me something cool!

For the trial project I want you to build me a standard single player BLACKJACK gambling game – that can plugin to an existing website.

> Integration to existing website (has its own balance, user history etc)

This is just the tip of the iceberg of what I’m looking to do here. Ultimately I want you to create me an unlimited number of ‘money games’. Some of these will be straight up gambling games (as per this trial project). But later on I envisage much bigger things here…

I want to build games with skill elements.
Tournament type things.
Competitive two player games; the winner of the ‘heads up battle’ takes home the prize pool sorta thing.

And really long term; I want to build games that require ‘user investment’. Then through gameplay, strategy, time and interaction users unlock the returns on their investment to make a profit. (Or if they play badly, a loss).

Anyway.. if you come to work with me – you’ll quickly discover that I have too many ideas! I’ll bombard you with new thoughts on a daily basis! I need you to make them come to life. I already have one programmer who does the basic / core stuff – but I need someone who knows what they’re doing making games. And who is either talented with javascript or flash. I don’t mind which.

I need a new twitter image hosting website. it will have few internal pages, I have the back-end software that will do all the back-end processing and I am in need of the graphic design, html/CSS and also to modify jquery slideshow plugin (more detail on it below). You will design the layout of front page, the logo, and a prototype for the internal pages.

The front page should be simple: a logo, an upload photo field, the slideshow (I provide the code, take a look at ainsefra.org/sefra/index.htm), a bird image (will provide that too), and a footer. THe design should be slick and very attractive. The logo and overall look should have a twitter-like look.

Internal pages: we can talk about that later

slideshow: I have a running slideshow at ainsefra.org/sefra/index.htm, you will have to modify this script to do the following:

1- add auto-play, so users won’t have to click to see the next photo, but the pictures will be pulled through Json/ajax from the database, and these recent photos will have to automatically feed the slide-show. Right now if you click on the middle picture, it will zoom-out and display a caption, we will have to change that so that when someone clicks on the middle picture, it will link to the internal page instead of zooming. Also I would like the caption to be at the bottom and display the number of picture’s comments pulled from the database and the submitter’s name. Now you have to click on the blue arrow when the picture is zoomed-out to see the caption, we will need to change that and display the caption automatically.

Please note, all the CSS needs to be TABLELESS (no tables)
