we’re an international shipping company and want to have an online cargo tracking option for our customers.

we will host the database with our web host (they provide MySQL).
need 2 interfaces: once for customers to access their shipment details (something similar to FedEx or UPS tracking system) and one for users from our company that will be entering the details into the database.

we will assign the number to each shipment and system must generate a unique random password. Customers will need to have both to be able to trace their shipment.
the customer access must be a very simple web page that allows them to see the current status of their shipment.

then we need to be able to create log-ins for the workers in our company to give them access to the database to enter updates.

this should be a very simple project to complete.

I’m not a tech head, so give me a break if the description is not optimal, but on the content part of the homepage of my BigCommerce website (see work in progress on dah.mybigcommerce.com) I wish to create a search engine like on adobe.com (upper right hand corner). Upon entering the first letters/numbers it needs to provide suggestions from the database (including links to the result).

No idea how it’s done, but someone told me it’s flash + javascript with a SQL database. It does not need to search within the website, but within a database I can control (preferrably through ftp).

So far (apparently) easy, but here comes the ‘tricky’ part; on the homepage I need two search boxes. Search box 1 will search on:
a) postcode, which will have to link to a page with all stores within that postcode area;
b) suburb/city, which will have to show all suburbs/cities with that name + postcode to select from (because of the same suburb/city possibility in the different Australian states) and then upon click link to a page with all stores within that suburb/city.

Once on the selected postcode or suburb/city page, the visitor will (besides the alphabetical store list) see another search box on the top to enter the delivery street name + number (without suffix, level, etc; just the streetnumber) in order to determine which stores in the database fall within a 5km delivery radius from that specific street address (possibly determined by longitude/latitude) and display the alphabetical result.

Still with me? Ok, similar thing goes for search box number 2 on the homepage, the product/service search box. Once a product/service is selected, the visitor goes to a page with a postcode or suburb/city search box like in box 1 searching for stores within that area that provide that specific product/service and displays the store list resultpage with on top a search box for delivery street + number as mentioned before to specify the stores within a 5km radius that deliver the selected product/service to that specific address.

In the final street radius result page there should be an option for me to add stores to the result in the database (stores that deliver to any address regardless of distance).

I need a clone of the site beemp3.com with some changes. The site has to be 100% SEO, title, description, keywords and link, the name of the artist and song + some word i will add after. PHP code + design. Please analyse well the site beemp3.com before giving a bid here. design is not an issue at all as i m gona do that myself later, but functionality should be exactly same with very feature.
Their search engine works based on a crawler that adds daily about 10.000 songs. I need more or less so i can setup the number of the songs per day maximum/minimum.
Embed for the search box, so i can use it on many sites. I want no follow for any link that goes out from the site. I need it to resist at over 1 milllion mp3s and to have no problem with SQL at a high number of visits.

We are looking for a full web-based class registration / management system.

We run various events throughout the year each with their own schedule of classes.

User Functionality required:

*Registrant must be able to login for a specific event and sign-up for the various classes on offer in a diary / calendar style format:
e.g. Monday 9 am – 10 am … Maths or History or Science
10 am – 11 am … Rugby or Ballet or Music
etc.

*Registrant would be able to click on a specific class and call-up a description of that class and elect to sign up for it.

*Registrant could thus select Maths class, followed by Music class and so on.

*Each class has a set number of spaces available. Once a class is full – potential registrants must join a waiting list for that class / or select an 2nd choice alternative class that is available.

*Registrant must be able to print off their class schedule & have it automatically emailed to them ( all emails sent by the system must be customisable by the adminstrator )

*Registrant must be able to login and change their schedule at any time. If they leave a class – their space must become available to next person on the waiting list ( if a waiting list is in place ) or become available for general registration again.

Admin Functionality required:

*Admin must be able to create multiple events – each event has its own class schedule

*In setting up an event – administrator would add each specific class to that event’s schedule: Class name / Class description / Class date / Class time / Class venue / No of spaces available

*Administrator must have full flexibility in changing date / time of any class and carrying forward this change to each registrants individual schedule ( automatically notifying the registrant of any change to their schedule by email )

*Adminstrator must be able to reassign a person from one class to another and manage waiting lists

*Administrator must be able to mass email all registrants with their individual schedules

Reports:

*Adminstrator would be able to generate class lists for all the classes as well as generate all individual schedules for the registrants for printing purposes

We are technology neutral – but need a heavy focus on realiability of the system ( upto 5 000 registrants using the system ) and need a very slick professional design GUI – this is paramount. The system must not only work 100% – it must look & feel good!

System would need to be fully installed by the developer ( we would supply relevant web hosting once platform had been decided upon ) and post-installation support would be required.
