This project is to create multiple directories that have the same content with one difference in the outgoing link, one string is changed.

Here is how it works:

In admin panel, website administrator sets up directories, and drop-down menu items with links assigned to them. The link has an identifier for the main directory “MAIN”, but when admin creates a new directory, the “MAIN” in the link needs to change to whichever directory ID is selected by admin when he sets up the new directory.

When a user comes to a website , he sees a form which includes a drop down menu and a few data entry boxes like Title, Description, Date and a Submit button. The user can select from the drop down, and click submit, and the data he enters gets posted to multiple directories on the website.

Example:

Drop Down Menu: Google INC

Title: Google has a new phone

Description: Get Google’s New Phone Today

Date: Feb 12 2010

If admin has created three directories named MAIN, 123 and SL and he has assigned the following link to the destination page, www.domain.com/MAIN?www.google.com we need to have the link be www.domain.com/123?www.google.com if someone is on the 123 directory or www.domain.com/SL?www.google.com if someone is on the SL directory.

The post that was made, will be posted to Domain.com/DirectoryName and to Domain.com/DirectoryName/Drop-Down-Menu-Item

All posts are sorted as latest on top, and pagination comes in after 25 posts.

Other functions:

1.) Upload file: Admin can upload an excel file that contains: Drop-Down Menu Item Name, Graphic URL, Link URL, Item Description.

3.) Add New Drop-down Item
4.) Edit Existing Drop-down menu item
5.) Add New Directory
6.) Edit Existing Directory
7.) Add custom post
8.) Edit existing post
9.) add moderator

Moderator permission level should be customized to include or exclude any of the above areas of the site.

Add custom post will have the dropdown item, but here admin or moderator will put in a custom link. So this overwrites the link that would normally go with the dropdown menu item, but still the identifier will need to be changed to the directory id.

If we use the example of Google above again, the link that was assigned to that item is: www.domain.com/MAIN?www.google.com Now if admin enters a different link in his custom post, then it could look like this: www.domain.com/MAIN?www.google.com/customPost.html and the “MAIN” will change for the different directories.

I just setup SSL on our domain, and now I need to setup a secure client login system where the site owner will have an admin area (to handle all client accounts), and then clients will be able to login to their accounts to upload and download documents in a secure environment.

The whole system needs to look sharp, be secure, and be very easy for the administrator and their clients. The administrators will need to able to easily setup new client login accounts, and will be storing client documents in the separate client accounts. The clients will need to be able to login to their individual accounts to easily upload new documents and download documents.

I need 1 or 2 senior coders who have a strong experience of the Silverstripe CMS, PHP, ajax, javascript and DB connections.

This is for a new project that finally got some more funding and could go on for 1 year or more, if the candidate proves himself suitable and the funds are garanteed.

I need someone operational now, full time (or nearly) who really does understand the Silverstripe platform and SVN systems because you will be working with a team already in place, commiting your work to our system at deadlines set by myself. You need to really pay attention to detail, work and delivery quality work as if it was for you, well tested so we don’t have to go back and forth a hundred times to get a module working.

If you are not confident in using the silverstripe platform, but are a guru in php, javascript, jquery and want to learn the platform (it is way better than Drupal and co), let me know, I might be ok to give you a week or 2 to get used to the platform.

This is for a long term commitment, I need extremely good reactivity to change requests I or my clients will put it, so for example 2 or 3 days of no communication is no good to me, so please spare my time.

The wage will be paid monthly directly into your bank account.

If this partnering works well, there should be work for the next 2 or 3 years. This is a very exciting project and I am sure you will love to work with our team. I have to be very specific on the job specs because I have had numerous problems with non serious coders, who had too many projects, asked for more money in the middle of a project, do work not to make something nice but to get rid of the job as quickly and go surf instead or are just man in the middle giving work to somebody else thus including delays. So I need to avoid that, because I will see it quickly and stop 🙂

Here is an interesting request… Simply I’m looking or a reliable, fast working HTML/PHP worker. I am not the best at HTML and rely entirely on Microsoft Expressions Web and some things I’d rather not have to work thru to figure out what is wrong, (i.e.. pages not displaying layout correctly.. perhaps a table not displaying right, etc..). or adding a small modification to an HTML page, or php edit.. I will be basing my choice on Feedback, quality portfolio, experience, price, and availability.

Basic qualifications required:

– MUST be able to easily contact (emailing and waiting for a reply 2 days later is not exactly what I’m aiming for. If you have MSN that would be fantastic!
– MUST have a variety of VERY GOOD, HONEST, RELIABLE FEEDBACK. (I’m sorry but I’ve had bad dealing in the past)
– MUST be available on the fly.. I.e.. Not taking 10 hours to do an edit or html correction if it should only take 30mins if that..

– I have a couple html pages that are showing some pixel spacing problems
– implementing a login to our phpbb3 forums program from our main layout (we already have a login form but not sure how to connect it and have it disappear when user is logged in)
– I was told you can incorporate Moodalbox so that if you’re not logged into phpbb3 that it could pop up a transparent overlay requesting to have them register and will continue to display every so often until they do..

Hi,

I need a GPS trip logger application for use when driving. The purpose of the app is to calculate tax refunds according to Norwegian law regarding the use of your own

car when working. The tax refund is calculated by the following factors (must be logged every trip – the user can enter default values, or specify values on a trip-

by-trip basis)
– Length of trip (km)
– Passenger on board? (yes/no)
– Number of toll stations passed (Several stations passed within 60 minutes counts as one)

The app should have the following functionality:

When opening the app it should discover nearby addresses (perhaps using google maps?) and suggest a starting address. If the correct address is not listed the user can

choose “enter address..” and enter an address of choice.

When the user chooses an address it starts recording the start date, time and coordinates. While logging the trip it should show the position in google maps as well as

having a button “stop recording”.

When the user chooses to stop recording the app should retrieve a list of nearby addresses (same as before starting the trip) where the user can choose the right stop

address, and enter one manually if the correct address isn’t listed. When the recording stops it should write the whole trip, total distance from start to stop, dates to a file on the SD card.

and times for the start and stop, number of toll stations passed.

When the user clicks the “menu” button he should be given the following menuchoices:

– Settings
– Sync data to web
– Statistics
– Help

Settings:
The user can enter the following variables:
– Username and password to use the sync service (see “sync data to web”)

Default values that will be used for every trip unless the user enters specific values for a single trip:
– Manual/automatic registration of toll stations passed
If the user chooses “automatic” the app needs to record the number of toll stations passed during each trip. The coordinates of the toll stations will be given by me)
– Passenger onboard? (yes/no)

Sync data to web:
The app should first authenticate the user with the entered username and password with a username and password in a MySQL database hosted on our servers. If the

authentication is OK -> insert all trip data into the DB and prompt the user if trip data should be cleaned from phone.

The trip data should be a format so that it is compatible with google maps.

Statistics:
Shows total distance since last sync, number of toll stations passed, distance traveled today, last 7 days etc.

Help:
Shows a short help file that I provide.

It needs to have a nice looking UI, and the code should be well documented. I am planning to port this to iPhone and Symbian later. The app will eventually be translated to Norwegian. I can provide the norwegian translation but I need you to implement it.

If I am satisfied with your work on this project, I will consider choosing you to port the app to iPhone and Symbian later.
