Hi,

I want to have the following done. It should very easy.

I send email from my autoresponder to my client list. The autoresponder uses tags eaample: [email]

I want to have a web url in the email body something like this:
www.domain.com?[email]

Then when someone opens the email & clicks on the link, the page it goes to *knows* the email address from your code & sends a confirmation (from a hidden field?) to me via email or database csv

Maybe by clicking the url (with email in the link) it sends me an email OR adds that email address to to a csv via a database

Mysql Clause Help

Hi,
i have a DB structure like this;

address VARCHAR[50]
[/code]

and in address column i have some addresses in this structure.

“SOMEWORD1(s) [SPACE] SOMEWORD2(s) [. – ] SOMEWORD3(s)”

what i need i want a SQL clause from you and it will change the address field like this

“SOMEWORD3(s) [SPACE] SOMEWORD1(s) [SPACE] SOMEWORD2(s)[.] ”

Again, i want it as a SQL Clause or Bash script that i can execute it from terminal window.

Note: Server is Ubuntu 10.x,
Note2: That table is very big about 13 million rows and file size about 17 GB…

what i need is to

a) track gps enabled mobiles in realtime using a free service (instamapper or another service) and save to mysql
b) create a web form where user can input address (street, housenumber)
c) now list 10 nearest mobiles with required driving time (to entered address )

–> example mysql table to track mobiles:
mobile id | instamapper id | coord-lat | coord-lon

–> example search form:
address: (textinput field) –> street and housenumber
– optional fields (only if required for scripts):
city: (selectbox, predefinied cities to select)
zipcode: (textinput field)

–> example result – nearest first
mobile id | instamapper id | current coord-lat | current coord-lon | cuurent street name, number | city | zipcode | driving time (to entered address)

-> you can use open source scripts
-> use open street map to resolve geolocation coordinates since i need to show / calculate distances of streets and housenumbers
-> for driving time calculation you could use openroute –> http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:OpenRouteService
-> i have found several already done script solutions that cover up some or all required features
-> what i need at the moment is a small solution that i can quickly implement in existing applications

Java 3d Game

Please read the full description before bidding.The things i want are made clear below from 0 to 5;

I need a 3D game built in java that can also be run as an applet in the browser.
The scenario is, i intend to fully replicate all the features of sims 3 except making it multiplayer where more than one active users are in the virtual world. The game should use javamonkey engine from http://www.jmonkeyengine.com/home/ or if you have a better suggestion then let me know. Any open source software can also be used as long as it is customized to meet my requirments…

The key things i want included are:

0) The user is spawned into the town by default. The town is hosted on our server but once a user buys a house that house is hosted on their PC and any activity involving that house such as customizing or a friend coming over is hosted on the user’s end.

1) Integration with facebook java API located at http://code.google.com/p/facebook-java-api/ (i don’t think there is an official version so this will do). This will allow users to use the game as a facebook app their details will be stored in a mysql database that i’ll give you.

2) The 3D graphics needs to be done to allow users to customize their character/avatar

3)The users will be put into a town where they can buy a house and then customize. Users will be given a default amount of cash that i select so that they can buy a house.

4)Users can invite their friends from facebook or by inserting someone’s email address. If the friends accept then the become friends with the person who invited them in the game and they can share their cash with each other.

5)Lastly users are able to walk around and communicate with each other via texts chat and sending gestures to each other such as kisses etc.

Only the features above need to be working now.
This is stage one of the project and when you bid you will only be bidding to do the things described above.

At the start of next month when i get more cash for the project the second phase will begin and if i like what you have done I will re hire you. There will be other stages involved until I am satisfied that i have every feature i want but each phase will be a different project and I will re hire the selected developer if his work is done to my speficication.

Upgrade Mysql Database Further

I have a very limited database on a website I purchased that was already complete:-

There is a register, log-in, add information/photos and admin function, but there I would require more functionality. The admin function is very basic.

Would any of your experts take a look and see if this can be upgraded please.

I would like the password reminder function to be upgraded, it currently offers a password reminder that does not remind the website visitor of the password they signed up with.

I also would like the forms used to register, add villa and provide owner details to have more information on that can be used.

If possible, I would like to increase the number of photos to be added.

I would also like the look of the website to be slightly updated.

Help Installing Moveable Type

We are starting up a new Moveable Type installation (Movable Type 5 Pro using MySQL)

At the point of creating an Admin login in the installation:
“Create Your Account
Please create an administrator account for your system. When you are done, Movable Type will initialize your database.”

However, after this step I get this error message:
“An error occurred
Can’t open theme directory”

We have tried setting the directories named “themed” and “themes-base” to file permission 777, but that did not help.

This is a very brief and simple task. We need someone who can sort this out and complete the Movable Type setup.

I need a php/mysql script built with a web-interface to add items and change feed description. I need standard news rss fields, plus two custom fields. The web interface would simply show 15 items with blank fields where you could fill in title, description, link, date, audiolink (custom field), and thumbnail (custom field). Any items not filled in would be simply not published.

Existing items in the feed would be populated already when you visit the interface. Order of items needs to be able to be changed, whether via Ajax or via a simple “order” box like with a number 1-15. A separate panel or area would allow you to edit the feeds description itself.

Feed should validate.

US States, Counties, City/Towns typically have website pages where they put up current projects so that companies can bid to provide services. For example, the City of San Antonio in Texas has their information at the following website: http://www.sanantonio.gov/pgs/procure/bid_oppt.asp?res=1024&ver=true

I would like to have a script that gets all the current projects, and which will update regularly. Output should be a CSV, organized by State, County, City/Town.

There are a few stages to this project:

1) Get a complete list of States, Counties, City/Towns, and the URLs of the pages where they have their current projects, for those that do have such pages. Right now I have a list of States and City/Towns, with many URLS, which I can provide if that helps.

2) Create scripts to gather info from each of the pages when it is run, save in MySQL, and produce CSV upon request.

NOTE: This system will require updating whenever a City/Town/County/State changes its website. So it should be created in such a way as to be easily updatable. Also, if there is a change, so that the script is no longer operational for a certain website, it should produce a signal so that we can know that updating is needed.

If the price is right, and you can make this happen, will also need that maintenance work done. Probably won’t be too much maintenance work, since people don’t change websites that often.

Hi, I have a Mysql Database with clients list in it.
I want a Little application that can put out adresses informations from those clients and prepare it to be printed on Avery Labels (5160).

1- The application ask me what clients I want to print the adress. So I have to slect them first.
2- The Application ask me where to start the printing on the page. Cause sometimes, your stickers are not starting at the top left of the page. So it ask me on witch labels the printer start the printing.
3- It ask me how much time I want to print those labels.
4- Possibility to offset the printing for different printer, up, down, left, right

I need that fast like today…
