I would like for someone to create me a “video website” similar to that of www.worldstarhiphop.com, onsmash.com, etc. The only difference is I would like to use the WordPress platform as a base.

Initially, the only features I want is the ability to upload a video through WordPress (or hot-link the video URL from another website, like facebook for instance) and use a custom SWF player for the videos. I would like for the embed codes to be nice and short/simple like the embed codes on the sites mentioned above. Please view them as a reference.

Once the video is uploaded, the embed code should automatically be generated and when the video is published, two versions of the embed code should be shown in boxes: “autoplay” and the regular version that doesn’t play automatically. The functionality I need is VERY simple and you wouldn’t have to build an entire website since we’ll be using the latest version of WordPress as a base.

I am looking to start a penny auction site such as Nickelbids, Swoopo, Snaglo, etc. There will need to be some Basic Logo design as well as help setting up the site on a server. Below is a list of items i would like to see on the site. Some are already on existing sites.

Way to quickly and easily track, gather info on customers so i can get a good look at sales , site log in’s, site visits, compile email list for news letters, etc.

Way to send news letters to all, some, or individual customers.

Way to offer a Discount or Redemption certificate on bids.

Want to offer 5 free bids upon sign up and 10 free bids on 1st purchase of bid package.

Bid bonuses of 10 free bids when friends sign up and buy a bid package.

Would like only last five bidders visible to other bidders but still be able to see all bids on an auction as an administrator.

Would like to be able to set price increase on auctions from $.01 to $1.00 increments.

Would like an Auction timer/clock able to add variable times to clock according to total current bid if it is doable. I.E. for bids placed between .01 and $2.00 add 45 seconds to clock. for bids placed between $2.01 and $4.00 add 30 seconds to clock. For bids placed from $4.01 and up add 15 seconds.

Want to have an “Auto-Bidder” of some kind.

Want to be able to offer 2nd place bidders (or others) full or partial refunds on completion of auction. Such as giving second place bidders 50% bid refund of bids used.

Would like a feed back forum so bidders can rate site and suggest other items they would like to see on the site.

Need to have pre-set bid packages ( 25, 50, 75, 100, 200 bids) with icon/picture to represent bids on auction. Will also need an easy to use way to put up different auctions with pictures/icons of items. IE i want to sell an Xbox 360 so i can download a picture to site to use as stock photo for auction.

Need to have user interface to be easy to use.

Would also like to know what it would take and if its possible to add an animated sales person/avatar (as such from site cube) as a welcome page and to show how to buy and place bids, if this is needed to be programmed into site at creation or can be added at a later time.

As opposed to selling items on the penny auction site I will be taking a different direction. Thus will explain later if a deal can be reached. Thanks

1) User clicks on ‘Buy Now’ from our website
2) User is directed to paypal to complete the payment
3) User is redirected back to our website with confirmation

The price should be able to be adjusted along with the product name and description. The redirection URL (where to come back to from paypal) should also be able to be dynamically varied.

I have a client who needs a sales page written for his DVD program. The website is nmrseminars.com and the product we want to sell is: http://www.nmrseminars.com/products.php

We have tons of testimonials and photos and such. We don’t need the page formatted, just written at this point. If chosen for the job, you will need to spend time with the Doctor via GMAIL Chat or something to get a feel for who he is, what the product is, etc.

I have a client that is a local church and we do all of their video and design work. Every week we do their bulletin layout. Right now they email me all the content that is going in it. It’s a sloppy method and usually they give me too much in one area and not enough in another. I want to streamline the input process with a page where they can go and input all the details and submit it to me, and it has rules and parameters that they have to follow.

The bulletin would be broken down into segments and in those segments, there would be a character limit. So for now let’s just say there is room for 10 segments of information in the bulletin and each can have up to 100 characters in it. I would want a form that allows them to click a drop down menu and select from a list the category of that segment, then a calendar pop up selection for optional start and end dates, then a title, then finally the body of the segment which would have the character limit.

Using cForms and one other plugin in WordPress I was able to create most of that. I had trouble with the character limit part and some of the global settings. Mostly I couldn’t figure out how to customize the look of that one page and how to put it in a specific locaiton, like /church or something like that. So all of this made me realize I’m not a programmer so I should just stop messing with it!

So here are a few things that might be tricky. In each of the 10 segments I would want to make the category and title required fields. However, they aren’t required to fill up the bulletin with all 10 segments. So maybe a selection at the top of each seciton that lets them ignore this segment so that when they submit it they won’t get a message about the required fields they didn’t fill out. Also the character limit thing seemed really weird in cForms because it’s sort of a workaround that only gives you an error at the end and it felt clunky. What I would really like is a character countdown feature so they can see in real time that they are getting close to going over.

All of this info can then just be sent in an email to me so I can copy it into the bulletin.

I don’t even know if WordPress is the right product for this, so please tell me if you think something else would work. I’ll supply all the design elements for whatever setup you end up using. Just tell me what the parameters are.
