I’m migrating content from my old html site to my new WP site. I had a project last week for about 500 items to be copied into the new WP site, and I’ve a smaller project.

The process will be this
– from an index on the old html site, go through the old website pages
– in wordpress, using the logon I give you, you copy the text from the source page, and paste in as a new post on the wordpress site
– items that are in bold on the source page should be entered as tags in the wordpress post, and you will assign one or two categories as per my instructions
– for each source page there will be an image on the original site. You have to save this to your computer, then upload into the wordpress post
– for each post refer back to the original and set the date on the new WP post to match it

It is quite simple and straightforward. There is no need for html or wordpress programming.

This page needs to be redone so that it is more eye catching. I want to keep the same page header and footer but I want the rest redone to really catch the attention of the viewer.

I would like to use some pictures also. Perhaps they could slide in. I have attached some images that I am considering.

I would Also like the “Click here now” to be an attractive looking button.

I am only concerned with what is above the fold, the part of the page that is automatically visible when the page loads. What the viewer sees first before they scroll down.

This will be very easy for somebody who knows what they are doing…

I need you to:

a) Find a plugin for wordpress and install it so that it cures the standard html formatting issues in wordpress.

(Every time I edit a post, the formatting gets screwed up via WP).

I would like it to resemble the crisp text located at www-dot-peakperformancegolfswing-dot-com

b) Create a standard blank white page template so that if I create a new page in WP, it will look like a standard html static salespage.

This shouldn’t take any longer than 1 hour to complete if you know what you’re doing.

I am upgrading a client’s account from Joomla v1.0 to v1.5. In the process, the online application form they rely on must be redone. It previously used Fabrik, but I would like to move to VirtueMart so client has the option to automate process and add method for users to make payments online in the future.

Site is already transferred to v1.5 with the exception of this form. Coder may compare original Fabrik form (old site still live until the changes are completed) and modify VirtueMart to have users begin the application process and collect the same information and deliver to administrator via email

Client should have ability to enable immediate online payments in the future using a VirtueMart module (eg perhaps this may be accomplished with a payment module option to immediately and transparently send form to admin after user completes form for manual processing; client will have option to enable VirtueMart payment gateway if/when they gain capability).

Requirements

Analyze the problem and propose a software-based solution to the problem.

The programmer will take the requirements and translate them into the language of the computer (and test it).

I have my own in-house server. The programmer may develop live on my production server.
The programmer will perform the physical installation, and will be given all necessary permissions to do so.

Legal: 1) I require complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future).
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
2a) Any website server-side deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer’s environment.

PHP script that will do the following:

1) User enters a URL

2) Script returns a link to a downloadable .zip file which includes the page html and all of the assets (images, css, javascript etc.). HTML is modified so that all of the assets are locally referenced rather than on third-party sites.

Options may include how to modify the assets references (such as don’t modify, make relative, or use a specific domain and path), as well as to whether to skip certain file types or to leave certain third-party assets intact (like embedded youtube videos).

We can discuss additional options but overall we want to keep this basic. The primary goal is to have a quick way to save a local copy of a page that can be viewed with all the assets in tact without reference to third-party sites, whether those paths were relative or absolute in the original page.

1) I need a script that will convert a text formatted databe with ten fields into a document (xml?) that can be imported into a mysql database.

2) I need instructions how to call this mysql data and format it into a joomla site’s (php based) web page when a web user clicks on a search result on my site.

The text is formatted and called pgn (*.pgn file). It is a database format used to store chess games. There are perl scripts on the net that parse pgn. I need instructions on how set up the script to use it with my pgn data.

I am using PhocaGallery and need a module where logged-in users can submit photos for the admin’s approval.

The user will select a category (from PhocaGallery’s categories)and upload up to 10 images (size restricted or resized) and then send to admin.

Admin will be emailed with link to view a page of uploaded thumbnails. Admin will check the box by thumbnail of those not accepted and then enter to bulk accept the rest which will automatically go in the chosen categories.

User will be emailed of approval or not.
