Build an Australian Comparison Website filled with affiliate offers mostly from the 3 biggest Australian networks DGM, CG and CM. I want someone who is able to reverse engineer websites if I show you something I want. I want the site to be generated and updated with the least work possible so I can focus on marketing the website.

The site can be started listing the merchants in each category. For some categories I would like to list all the offers/products and have more advanced search and comparison.

1) Need CMS suggestion – maybe database driven? So I can have database of offers from feeds? (at least for shopping) Thinking WordPress with Pages listing affiliate offers? Or Joomla with wordpress for articles. Open to suggestions.

2) Need template – header with flydown menus, footer with categories.

3) Need email marketing solution – able to sign up from the website. Will put the email sign up form in the header. Maybe sendblaster with their wordpress widget?
Open to suggestions what is the best email marketing software – prefer free / open source.
Will also do facebook, twitter marketing so something that integrates with that is a plus.
I should be able to segregate the database based on the categories/interests below (shopping, insurance, dating etc) and also country, also maybe city/postcode, where I got the email address from e.g. customer from my online store etc.
I also want them to easily be able to invite all their friends with a script to import contacts from their gmail, hotmail, yahoo address books when they signup or enter competition.

4) Need link management system to generate and track outbound links and have keyword friendly SEO urls so I can includes links to any offer in emails, facebook:
SEO friendly pages like /credit-cards/
Outbound links redirects to affiliate links may be like /go/nokia-n97/
Especially for the shopping section, I would like links for each product in the merchant feeds so we can email customers links in newsletters. Have heard of samurai/ninja link cloaker, suggestions?

5) I want articles integrated in the website. Maybe for writing articles > WordPress. On each section such as credit cards a box with relevant articles should appear

Categories:
Most categories we will start listing the merchants, then offers and have articles. May be best to use “tags” as some items fit in multiple categories. Feature the best offers and discounts in each category on the home page. Most merchants/offers will be listed as a table with a column to click “Go” to the merchants website.

Basic category structure below. I also have a detailed list with all subcategories and every merchant and which affiliate network (basically all DGM, CG or CM, I have spreadsheets listing the offers from those networks too). There are generally several merchants in each category, shopping has much more but still I have only selected the best (around 100 stores in shopping)

FOR ALL – Start by listing merchants/providers and offers, as well as ability to write articles. More advanced comparison preferred.

7) Shopping
First step just list merchants in categories, need ability for customers to add reviews for stores. I at least need to be able to get SEO urls for particular products to include in our blog posts or bargain newsletters.
Second step list all the individual product offers from their feeds – so I can have exact links, say I can email my subscribers exact link to Apple iPhone at the Apple Store. Add shopping datafeeds for stores from DGM, CG, CM, usually come in CSV/Tab/XML.
This engine is not the best, but this is an Australian engine that looks like it was made very quickly and cheaply from affiliate feeds. Maybe look how have they done this?

Can I have a section powered by the clickbank marketplace feed? So they can search and browse items? I shd be able to refine the database in future by hiding bad performers, will also need to be able to add review pages to the top performers?
Can you index feeds of digital downloads from affiliate networks? Similar to shopping comparison?

SEO – I would also look to perhaps make some categories on their own domain, advice on SEO, keywords to target and domains to buy and best way to set this up the right way from the beginning is preferred.

Job 2 – UK/USA versions. I also want to at least get a basic .com and .co.uk version (should be easy to almost totally generate from feeds) so can start collecting emails from those users too. Im already part of CJ and Linkshare, will join other networks, can I have suggestions what would be the easiest way to generate the UK/USA versions full of the best offers? At the very least have the UK and USA version say coming soon and allow the customer so signup to our email database in the right country category, and have a few top featured offers on the UK/USA homepages for now. Whip up something extremely quickly and automated. Should be WAY easier to generate almost automatically as far superior tools available for UK/USA markets. E.g. DatafeedR, Easycontentunits

Job 3 – I have an online store I want to simply populate with affiliate links as an online showcase, so it looks like an online store, perhaps my shopping links can power this store? I have picked the best merchant in each of several categories that I would like to populate this store. Currently with zen-cart but any CMS suggestion welcome, may have to redirect some links to keep PR. Let me know what you can do.

I am using PhocaGallery and need a module where logged-in users can submit photos for the admin’s approval.

The user will select a category (from PhocaGallery’s categories)and upload up to 10 images (size restricted or resized) and then send to admin.

Admin will be emailed with link to view a page of uploaded thumbnails. Admin will check the box by thumbnail of those not accepted and then enter to bulk accept the rest which will automatically go in the chosen categories.

We have a php+JQuery web site production project in 3 languages (FR,NL,EN), using MySQL database. The mainpage design is in attachment and the only flash area of the project is on the main page.

We need simple, plain php coding. We dont use any alternative php coding system. “Plain php” means that we can copy the .php files to any php supported server (Windows or Unix) and the website will run correctly.

The SQL dump file will be delivered to the programmer.

In the flash area of the mainpage, a number of photos, selected from database will scroll automatically.

In the combobox of the “acces rapide aux produits”, the product names from DB will be listed and when we click, the page will navigate to a URL like : ../products.php?product_id=x

In “No Realisations” area, one of the References Photo will be shown randomly, and when you click, it will navigate to references.php page.

“Actualites”, means “NEWS”. Last X news will be scrolled automatically, and when you click one of them, the page will navigate to a page like news.php?new_id=x

We have 7 menus, and no submenu.

Presentation and Contact pages are static. The other pages are dynamic.

In Products page, all products will be listed as a menu on the left side and, when we click on a menu, the right side will be loaded with $ajax.load. In this detail area, we will see the product title, description, and a maximum of 3 photos will be listed at bottom, then some downloadable documents (paths are saved in database) will be listed.

In the realisations page, all references will be listed and you can navigate to a reference detail by clicking. In the detail page, we will see a maximum of 4 photo, when we click the thumb, it should load by JQuery the big image area. In list page we will see product list in a combobox, so we can apply filter on references.

Actualites page means news, and this is same principle: A news list and a new_detail page when you click on.

Materiels D’Occasion is approximately same as news page. We will have a material list with photo+name+price and a material_detail page with title+description and photos.

Job is also a dynamic page, all job description will be read from database, no form will be applied here, the user will contact via email.

The site will be in 3 languages, default is FR, so you need to use appropriate charset. We are using

Its very important that the webpage works with same graphical properties in several browsers as IE 7,8, firefox, chrome and MAC browsers.

We are working very precise on the graphical design, and you need to fit pixel by pixel our design which will be delivered as PSD file.

I have a live fully working basic project management script that needs extra features added .This script was written in PHP.

At the moment this script has no registration. So only the admin can add users. What I would like is for my customers to be able to create an account with a user name and password with an email to confirm their sign up and to authenticate that its their email address and cut me out of the loop of the signing up process.

There is an option with this script, where each user has the option for each project to be able to upload files back and fourth from user to admin. What I would like is an option to be able to limit individuals on how much they can upload i.e.100MB or 50MB. Another thing is I’m planning on exchanging up to a gig through this script, is it possible with this script?

My client needs a big photography site made. It needs to bed one in 16 days or less.

It can be made in wordpress, joomla, drupal or any type of cms you want. I’m leaning toward wordpres because the minisites with there templates are easy to make with wordpress.

When you place a bid note the type of cms you would use.

You have 30 days to do the work. I’m willing to pay $300-400.

Note: I’m having the client have someone design most of the pages. Not all of them but most of them. Some of those pages are already made, but need to be moved around and to what the client wants. You will have to make the template designs for the mini sites. They all will look very similar. They will only will have a few differences.

The person who accepts this project will work on myserver. The very first day they will need to cut up the psds and put them on the wordpress site.

Project is to create a website where photographers can sign up, open an account and create individual mini sites for each one of their clients (i.e. bride and groom). The photographer will just have to upload the photos he wishes to be on the mini site and complete a few short steps and the mini site will be created for the client. It will be something like www.brideandgroom.mysite.com. The site will be password protected, and will be managed by the photographer as well as by the client. We will refer to the client as the site host. After the photographer is done uploading the photos and publishes the site, the host will be sent an email to come view and customize their site. They will need to first access their site with the sites password then sign on with their host username and password to further personalize their site.

The host can select from different template, hide photos from public view, change the site’s password and send out invitations that include the sites password to their friends and family. We will call these people visitors.

The visitor will be able to come to the mini sites they have the passwords of and will be able to browse the photos, leave comments for the bride and groom, purchase photos, and use the photos towards the customization of photo products like mugs, calendars, t-shirts etc. (note this customizer is a flash application I’ve already had made. You won’t have to do any flash work. You will have to send the photos to the flash applicaton, but in terms of the flash application I”ve already had that made, and will get someone else to customize it to fit this project. So keep that in mind if you see any thing about a customizer in this description.

1.2 Purpose

Purpose of this document is to serve as requirement document for the project and understanding of the functional requirements from provider’s end.

There are four different “user types” that will be gaining various different functionalities with our site.

Admin Portal

This user is the super admin of the portal and expects the following standard features

o Secure Admin Login Interface

o Manage Photographers: Name, Address, Phone, Email, Billing Address, CC Number, Expiration etc….

o Account Suspension, Reactivation, Deletion of Photographers accounts and deletion of specific minisites

o Admin ability to manage/ search the accounts in an organized fashion searchable by Event host/ Photographers/ and Visitor Accounts

o Manage Orders & Payments (View Successful and unsuccessful Orders). Export in excel function will be available
o Order sheet should be accessible in admin panel next to the orders and should be able to be emailed directly from order manager panel.
o
o View Photographer Statistics includes no. of event sites and sales across each site (This feature is only for Administrator in order to get the knowledge of the status on the sales of the products)
o View Mini-sites and Buyers Statistics across each site

o Add / Update / Delete Global Products (Canvas, Calendar, Apparels etc.)

o SEO based Content Management System for required Products, Categories and Pages ex: Contact Us, About Us, and Help…etc.
o Email Modules (Manage Notification mails etc.)
o order form that includes the high res attachment of the photos that will be used in the photo product and a snapshot of user created item on the product customizer.

o The admin needs to be able to manage the orders by creating order sheets, search sales and order history across all sites and across sites of specific photographers, needs to be able to store customers information for mailings and processing orders.

1. Photographer

This user will be making the event websites covered by him for his customers. His functions include

o Add an event that will automatically create a personal website for their customers (Event Host).
o an invitation email must be sent to the host that included their mini sites password as well as a temporary host login password
o He can customize the mini-sites name and will be provided with name suggestions by the application.

o When publishing the site the photographer will be offered to select from a few option that will effect the pricing of the product on the site he would like to publish.
o the image uploader needs to be able to have the option to drop the photos in different folder on the minisite into re-namable files directories.
o Can upload events photos with a limit closer to 2000 images per event using bulk image uploader module.
o Can View Own Statistics that include no. of event sites and sales across each site and search through his sites order history and profits
o The photographer must be able to add delete photos or delete full site in case and from the clients published site
o The pics uploaded by the photographer will be displayed to visitors after applying the watermarking process specific to event’s site or photographer

2. Host

This user is the event host whose event is covered by the photographer. His functions include

o Manage Account settings (Site password, Host Password, Email)
o Manage Photos (Delete/hide, rename folders, set order in which photos are to be displayed to the buyers)
o Refer/Invite a friend module to Invite Friends to the event website. (the invite template must include the minisites particular password)
o The ability to connect their FB and other SN walls to be posted on their mini sites
o Manage Comments/blog posted by the buyers/visitors.

3. Buyer

o This user can be the attendee/friend of the Event/ Host or general user. His main functions are determined as:
o The user can create an account that will allow him to save his projects, view his saved pictures folders, and track his orders.

o Browse the photos of the event in a slideshow style.
o Rate the Photographer
o Use photos to create prints on products (canvas, calendar, apparels etc.)
o Can save the favorite image for later use (favorites folder)
o Buy/Place order for the custom prints using a shopping cart integrated with an payment gateway
o Rate the individual photos and it creates a folder titled Top rated photos (specific to each event ) which stores the top rated photos in the order that they are rated.
o Can post comments to the photo
o Tell a Friend/Email Photo option.
o He can store the pictures in his saved folder for later use, and track his order history.
o While placing an order buyer can preview the order with an image customizer module like in zazzle.com
o Email confirmation for the orders that are placed by the visitors
o Site-wide Search Functionality for ALL SITE VISITORS to search for event (by bride and groom name and/OR date of event)
o Any visitor (who has been granted access to the site) can invite their friends as well. And connect to their SN accounts
o 2.1.5 Miscellaneous
o Other requirements as discussed are
o Integration of a music player with the mini site.

Additional notes:

The client will have some “administrative” control over their page, like adding and deleting photos etc.

The next level is that the client will also be able to invite visitors to “their” site where they can purchase the photos of their event.

So photographer uploads the photos, creates the site, client invites friends, friends purchase photos and photo products from the site.

Four levels here me the adminstrator, the photographer to monitor sales activity on the mini sites he created, the client, and the visitors.

There is two parts here essentially, the photographer’s site where they will create an account, and create mini sites for their clients.

And the minisites where the clients will invite their friends and will be able to leave messages, browse through the photos and purchase the photos and photo products.

What I already have versus what the provider will deliver:

I have the exact layout and functionalities determined, including the html of all the pages necessary for the site, as well as a complete list of the requirements with specific examples from other sites. I have a clear understanding of exactly what I need and what needs to be done and am available all day to help move the project forward.

Other context/requirements that providers will need to know:

A bulk uploader for the photographer to upload pictures into the specific sites and the specific folders

A gallery viewer with slideshow capabilities A simple flash photo gallery
