I run a middle sized auction site (about 20,000 members and a similar number of users) – It runs PHP and mysql on an Apache environment.

There is a cron that handles most site functions such as clearing ended Auctions, sending finished item emails etc. It is quite a large cron1 and this is what is causing the issue.

For several months the cron would run sporadically in between fails. About a month ago we got our hosting company to reboot the server and from that time the cron would not run at all.
Since then we have at the request of both our Hosting company and Nash (The developer) we migrated the site to a larger and much more powerful Server.

Now cron1 will run, but, halfway through the cron, the server overloads with both memory and cpu usage maxing out and shutting down the server.

Needless to say both hosting company and our developer blame each other, and neither has been able to fix this issue.
I require someone with expert skill in PHP, MySQL and Apache who can find and fix this issue.

I can supply additional information on request, including a copy of the cron.

so here is what the flash will do
the page will pass a parameter “StationID” to the flash then the flash will connect to this web service http://music.mcprogramming.net/sRadioPackage.asmx
there is a sample in flash.zip how to do it

the flash program will request “GetTracksByPackageResult” and pass the StationID
and the service will Response with a list of tracks the flash needs to play each track will have the flowing info

now when user presses the play button it should start playing from the first track in a row till the last and then start again
each track has to start from the SongStart second and end by the SongEnd second the location of the track can be found in “Track” field

and every time the flash program gos to the next song it should call the UpdateStation_PlayTrakId from the service and pass the StationID and the TrackID

example StationID=1 first track will look like this

I’m looking for someone who can build a windows/mac application that does a new formula based on the Fibonacci numbers (or the golden ratio).

I built an excel spreadsheet that does some of the calculations so you can see it as an example.

Basically I need it to build a tree of calculations. I want it to be very visual and have nice looking icons and features to appeal to the user and to make it look like it is doing more calculations than it actually is.

There should be about 10 options which I need help designing. I already have the first few options but I need someone with experience to create a few other options I may not think of.

Some of the options I have so far are:
Initial value, Up calculation aggression, Down calculation aggression, number of branches, etc…

After it is finished, I will expect you to run a through quality assurance test. It should be a simple application so this shouldn’t take long. I will also do my own testing and I expect you to fix any bugs I find.

After the project is complete, I want the full source code. You can not use or resell the code for any other purpose.

Just a note: I am a programmer myself, so please write clean code with English variable/method names and follow some sort of convention.
