We want to have a fairly elaborate WordPress plugin created that will enable the site admin to create visually attractive, smooth-working popups on his WP-powered site.

The features we have in mind are as follows:

* Create multiple popups on a site using the same plugin.

* Ability to have popup float over a specific area of:
o the browser (easy);
o the actual website (possible?).

* Can contain any kind of image (single or slideshow), video, WP content, WP widget, HTML, PHP, JavaScript etc.

* Images & videos can be from WP’s built-in media library or remotely linked (videos can also be linked to from video sites such as YouTube, Viddler etc.).

* Can contain any type of form (contact form etc.), and ability to set automatic closure or not after submission. Also the ability to cause site redirection after submission of the form.

* Can add pre- and/or postscripts to popup content.

* Can turn off border.

* Can have transparent background (adjustable from 0% to 100%).

* Can have transparency for both background and content (adjustable from 0% to 100%).

* Can set popup as modal or not.

* Can set popup as draggable or not.

* Can set popup to optionally smoothly scroll down or up as user scrolls the page.

* Can set popup to close automatically after X period of time.

* Can set whether visitor can close popup or not.

* Can limit appearance of popup for time duration or number of browser sessions, or once every x visits by the same visitor.

* Can limit appearance of popup to home page, visitor landing page or certain other page(s).

* Can limit popup by referrer (i.e. Google search etc.).

* Can set popup to show only to logged out or logged in users.

* Must have fluid, adjustable movement during opening & closing.

* Can be opened on page load (time before appearance adjustable), or by clicking a link.

* Care should be taken that this plugin should as far as possible not clash with any other plugins or scripts, and should be widely cross-browser compatible (including at LEAST Firefox and IE).

* Must be compatible with any WP theme as far as possible.

* Admin area should be functional yet modern, making ample use of ajax-type features, space-saving tabbed areas etc.

* Suggestions from coder re additional features or changing of suggested features are welcome.

We aim to have to variants of this plugin made: a lesser version containing only some of the functions (yet really good ones), and a full version containing all functions. We can later discuss, in collaboration with the coder, which functions to leave out or include on the lesser version.

I am looking for the design and development of an ecommerce website. Please don’t bid if you can’t do both the design and the development.

Details:
– Professional design (I will provide selected bidders with URL that has same look/feel I need)

– The entire project cost can be escrowed but no funds will be released until everything is 100% complete, tested and working. You can check my reviews/ratings here and on three other freelance websites. You will get paid IF everything works as agreed.
– All rights, software, code, etc. will remain mine and none can be displayed (as a portfolio item or for any other reason), distributed, licensed, sold, etc. to others.

This shouldn’t be too complicated for any individual or group with experience. Please bid appropriately both the time you expect for completion and the cost for completion. This job needs to be completed on time, with no mistakes and clean code.

Please post any project that you think is similar, explain why, indicate what the website was developed with (e.g. oscommerce, magento, from scratch, etc.) and if possible, provide access to similar admin panel so I can judge the quality and structure of work.

We have a wordpress plugin we have developed and enhanced over the course of 18 months or so.

Now we need additional enhancements made. This project is for an experienced wordpress plugin code to spend around 10 hours of work making changes that we require.

After the 10 hours work has been completed if you have done a good job we can negotiate on you making more extensive changes.

Effectively we want you to bid for 10 hours of work on making changes to a wordpress plugin.

2 hours of this time we will allow for you to learn the plugin, watch install videos, etc.

Then the remaining 8 hours will be working on the changes.

We will provide detailed instructions on what is required, as well as a “test” site for you to test your changes (a wordpress blog), etc.

There will be no specific deliverables for this project. What we do expect is that after the 10 hours, you will have progressed to a solid understanding of the architecture of the plugin and made some minor changes, and be in a position to give more detailed costs for the other enhancements we want to make.

In other words you will know the plugin “inside out”.

Its possible we may choose more than one coder for this project and pay each one, and then offer the ongoing work to the best coder.

There is a LOT of ongoing work we will want to make so you should be able to dedicate hours to this in the future (and be paid for it obviously!).

Please don’t bid unless you know php very well and have solid wordpress plugin experience.

Please also provide specific details of your past experience in both php and wordpress plugins.

Code examples should be provided.

I need a nice header image for my wordpress site: www.kidssoccerindoorshoes.com

Site: The site sells Indoor Soccer Shoes FOR KIDS. So the header should be kid/child oriented. I’ve attached images of the shoes that will be sold on the site. You can use them as you wish.

I’ve also attached an image of the site as it stands today. Currently it’s locked down for development. If you absolutely need access I can arrange it.

I’m not set on color scheme yet. Having said that I want the PSD/Illustrator files sent to me. So I can:
1. Easily change background colors
2. Easily resize the image without losing image integrity

WordPress Site/database + Xml

WordPress Site/database + Xml
This is for a media company that aggregates content from a number of outside sources and then redistributes it via an XML feed.

We scrapped our old non-Wordpress site and started over on WordPress.

We need to add fields for items like bylines, original source of the article, etc. that we can fill out when posting content to the site.

Then we need all that data show up as separate items in an outbound XML feed that we can send to partners.

We have samples of what we’d like those outbound feeds to look like.

The site is on WordPress.org & it’s on a MySQL database.

We would like to have this project completed by the end of March if possible.
