Need a WordPress website (built on Thesis or StudioPress, ideally) and custom header designed.

Requirements:
a) The look of the site should be clean, corporate, simple (no flash)
b) Full width header designed with attached graphic OR create a logo
c) Full width nav bar with my 10 digit phone right justified
d) Homepage sidebar sized to 185 pix

I have several WordPress blogs in place so I don’t need to be taught any back-end/admin activities. I just need a design.

Job Scope: I’m launching the first of four related and linked businesses and need the first website created. The category is Professional Services.

My Target Clients are High-end international corporations. Which means my site MUST look high-end and professional (easy to read with lots of “white space”).

Background info: I have a great deal of respect for programmers and a long term appreciation for designers. If you’re good at your job you’ll love to have me as a client. I pay well and fast and I’m respectful of your work.

Job Overview

I want the homepage to look like a website, not a blog. So Let’s blow out the Homepage Width from the “standard” bloggy 960 pixel and move to 1024 pixel minimum or “full-width” if you advise.

Header Height: I like this www.studiopress.com/demo/corporate.html header height and also the size of the Navigation

Header Content: I like www.imaginepub.com for how they skew the tagline off-center from under the name. And I like the social media icons in the otherwise-vacant-space to the right

Homepage Layout Suggestion(s):

Homepage Elements: From top of page to bottom—I prefer (a) header with name of website (Sizzle.com) and tagline (content marketing that ignites your sales) and icons (email, rss, twitter, phone).

Then the navigation bar appearing horizontally with Home, Blog, Services, About, Connect and then my 10-digit phone number

Then I hope to have a slideshow box like this: www.studiopress.com/demo/corporate.html that reads in large type: “More Leads, Bigger Sales, Greater Revenues.” Then in smaller type: “To discover more click here.”

Then a text box (again like this: www.studiopress.com/demo/corporate.html)

Under all that we move to a two-column layout with side-by-side content boxes: “Latest Post” and a “Featured Article” similar to www.studiopress.com/demo/corporate.html

The sidebar will include (1) an “ezine sign-up form” (2) a “Twitter Updates” box, (3) a categories ‘tag cloud’ box, (4) Archive

I’m also interested in learning if (and how) you can incorporate my past-clients’ logos on to the homepage. Clients include: Progress Energy, Prudential WCI Realty, Staples, American Funds, Centex Homes, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Fuji Film, BizJournals, ABC News, Gannett, Carbite Golf, YUM Brands.

Footer: Once again, look at www.imaginepub.com for inspiration. I want to include my address, phone, fax, email, and copyright. And then columns for: Services, Portfolio, About, FAQs, Blog, Connect, Diabetes Research Institute

I need to alter the default wordpress comment reply behavior. When a user reply’s to a comment, replied comment is stuck into the original comment.

I want it to appear as new comment at the end of post and original comment should appear as quoted comment inside it.

If you have used vbulletin then it’s simply that i want a quote function.

Right now i have a wordpress custom theme,

If they click on a page above they have a custom template sidebar that I choose inside the admin panel..

Example:

I go to wordpress Wp- click add page, i can select what template I want such as

product-sidebar.php

However,

I want inner “POSTS” to have their own sidebars as well so if I create a new post (not a page) and I view it, I want it to have whatever side bar I want it to have such as product, or events.

I bought a WordPress theme and find that several of its images – button, header, text items – need to be changed to fit my business.

This is an easy project for someone who is familiar with graphic software (e.g., Photoshop or Elements).

Basically, I need 30 images – one set of 15 displaying text I will supply and one set of 15 with no text – just blank (text-less) images. Note that while there are only 5 graphics listed below, they must each be prepared in 3 different colors.

I have the original images and can send them to you. What I need back is new graphics and text for

1. The logo “Newsense”
2. The subtitle “The best design company”

3. The unified graphic that contains the text “Fresh and Professional” and “Solutions for You and Your Company”

4. and 5. And the buttons that now say “View Our Services” and “Take a Tour”

I will supply the text for all of the above and would like to have replacement images (with my next text) for each of the above items in EACH of the themes three colors.

Also, I would like to have a separate set of background images so that in the future I could more easily apply the text I want on my own.

So, the deliverable is items 1-5 with next text in each of the three colors for a total of 15 images.

AND, items 1-5 with NO text – just blank buttons and images – in each of the three colors – for a total of 15 images.

The bottom line is that I should be getting 30 images – 15 with text that I will supply you and 15 that are blank (so I can supply next text later).

You should use fonts that are the same or very similar to the fonts in the original images and you should match as closely as possible the colors of the images.

If you have samples of work you’ve done that is similar to this, could you provide a URL where they appear?

Could you also provide an estimate of when this could be completed (e.g., “x” hours or “x” days after I send you the text to be applied.

I can send you the images I now have from the basic theme. You will probably need these to determine exact color, image size and font style.
