Hi,

I need a GPS trip logger application for use when driving. The purpose of the app is to calculate tax refunds according to Norwegian law regarding the use of your own

car when working. The tax refund is calculated by the following factors (must be logged every trip – the user can enter default values, or specify values on a trip-

by-trip basis)
– Length of trip (km)
– Passenger on board? (yes/no)
– Number of toll stations passed (Several stations passed within 60 minutes counts as one)

The app should have the following functionality:

When opening the app it should discover nearby addresses (perhaps using google maps?) and suggest a starting address. If the correct address is not listed the user can

choose “enter address..” and enter an address of choice.

When the user chooses an address it starts recording the start date, time and coordinates. While logging the trip it should show the position in google maps as well as

having a button “stop recording”.

When the user chooses to stop recording the app should retrieve a list of nearby addresses (same as before starting the trip) where the user can choose the right stop

address, and enter one manually if the correct address isn’t listed. When the recording stops it should write the whole trip, total distance from start to stop, dates to a file on the SD card.

and times for the start and stop, number of toll stations passed.

When the user clicks the “menu” button he should be given the following menuchoices:

– Settings
– Sync data to web
– Statistics
– Help

Settings:
The user can enter the following variables:
– Username and password to use the sync service (see “sync data to web”)

Default values that will be used for every trip unless the user enters specific values for a single trip:
– Manual/automatic registration of toll stations passed
If the user chooses “automatic” the app needs to record the number of toll stations passed during each trip. The coordinates of the toll stations will be given by me)
– Passenger onboard? (yes/no)

Sync data to web:
The app should first authenticate the user with the entered username and password with a username and password in a MySQL database hosted on our servers. If the

authentication is OK -> insert all trip data into the DB and prompt the user if trip data should be cleaned from phone.

The trip data should be a format so that it is compatible with google maps.

Statistics:
Shows total distance since last sync, number of toll stations passed, distance traveled today, last 7 days etc.

Help:
Shows a short help file that I provide.

It needs to have a nice looking UI, and the code should be well documented. I am planning to port this to iPhone and Symbian later. The app will eventually be translated to Norwegian. I can provide the norwegian translation but I need you to implement it.

If I am satisfied with your work on this project, I will consider choosing you to port the app to iPhone and Symbian later.

I am looking for a Virtuemart 1.1 solution which will accomplish two things:

1. Display products/items as a flat list table, with columns based on attributes (ideally using product type attribute values)

2. Use only one “add to cart” bottom below product list, so that shopper can enter quantity information for as many rows as necessary and add all product to the cart with one click.

There is a solution, or perhaps a partial solution, which works in VM1.0 so I the same concept can likely be applied to VM1.1. Solution must work for Joomla 1.5.

In need some one proficient and professional and experienced in PHP and Oscommerce oscMax specifically.
I have two websites which have session ID problems and Shopping cart does not show when products are added. hence no check out process. The items added to the cart show in the left column but not on the right column (main page). see attached pic
This has started to occur after transferring to a new hosting co. it was fixed once but it disappeared again.

the Fixes should be applied and both sites tested.
then sites checked for vulnerabilities, and also set file and folder permissions correctly and change admin name in related folders.

I will be interested on a short synopsis of your experiences and capabilities for current and future problems.

First, I want a clone of ChatRoulette.com (Please take 2 minutes to visit the website, just press “Next” on the top left to understand the website quickly…)

I have the webdomain already, just need smoeone to get to work.

There will be added features and changes in the clone, such as :

There should be a space on the right, to put the button ‘Register’
So people can become members.

Also, I want an ‘Add Friend’ button under people’s webcam, and when people are members, they can invite other people to be friends by cliking on ‘Add Friend’. This will send a friend request to the other person and if he accepts, they become in eachother’s friends list. (Like facebook invite friend…)
The friends list will be on the right ( where there is space for the register button ).

The friend list is like a drop down menu and when we click on it, we see all the friends, online friends are on top with a green dot on the left, and offline friends on the bottom with a red dot on the left of their names.

We can left click the friends and if the friend is online, we can ‘Invite for conversation’ him.
A window will popup (for example a notification on the bottom right of his screen) and he will be able to either accept or decline, if he accepts, you both will be set in a conversation together.

When people are registered and have a username, they should still be able to chat ‘Anonymously’ even if they are logged in. So for example on the bottom of their webcam, there could be an area to check ‘Chat Anonymously’ and ‘Reveal Identity’. When they check to chat anonymously, their name would appear as ‘Anonymous’ (And not Stranger, the strangers are people who use the website without registering’)
After chatting a few minutes, the person could decide to ‘Reveal identity’. While chatting anonymously, you cannot be invited by others to become Friend. The other person can only invite you to his friends list if you check the ‘Reveal Identity’.

Also, I’d want a 3-friend-conversation:
For example if the 2 friends I just talked about are together, one of them can invite one of their friends and if he accepts, there will be 3 webcams on the left, and 3 voices… (If they have microphones and webcams) For this to work, the webcam screens will have to be a little smaller to fit on the screen.

Also, at the top of the screen, an area where people can choose “I am a ‘Man’ looking for ‘Women'” etc. Or “I am a ‘Man’ looking for ‘Anyone’

I also need everyone’s external IP address in the database once they register… as well as other important informations of course like username etc. but the IP Addresse is because there will be a “Report” button over people’s webcam and if some people are nude on webcam or doing obcene things, people will be able to report them, if an IP address gets for example 10 reports in 30 minutes, he is banned for 24 hours.
If the member being nude is not a member of the website, his IP address will be recorded when someone presses ‘Report’. The report counts get erased 30 minutes after the first Report.

A Search function on the top right of the website where people will be able to type a Username, for example “Chicohuman”, and if “Chicohuman” exists in the database which contains all the registered members, “Chicohuman” will appear and the people will be able to click on Chicohuman and click ‘Add Friend’, which will send a friend request to Chicohuman…

Another feature is messaging.
Again, in the Friends List, when people left click on their friends, they should also be able to see ‘Send Message’, which opens a little form to submit a message to the friend.
With that said, users will have an ‘Inbox’, that can be just over the ‘Friend List’ on the right of the website.

Also, there should be a restriction of 2 usernames per IP Address.

About the servers, I will get a VPS or dedicated server. I guess while the website doesn’t have too many users a VPS server should be fine.

That would be all for now, maybe we can work long-term when this project is done, I have more ideas 🙂
