I run a software development company and I’m seeking for a good
PHP coder working regularly on many different projects for me.

You should be very skilled in developing scripts in PHP. You should
know how to do parsing, posting of data, etc… everything related to online
applications.

A good knowledge of relational databases and also MySQL databases.

I would be willing to hire you on a specific project first and check on your
abilities. Then I would prefer to hire you FULL TIME if everything
goes well.

When there will be no coding jobs to do, you will need to do other tasks like:

– Uploading on the server
– Fix script bugs
– Install applications and study them
– Sometimes, need to write tutorials related to the application once you understand it.
– And other online technical jobs

What are the criteria for you to be confirmed for this job offer?

I will pay you $350 to develop a php application for me. You’ll have 2 full weeks
to complete it. I’ll do critics thru videos so that you can watch. I’ll also run
beta testing and show you what’s wrong with the script provided.

I’ll also be available to chat when needed. We will also communicate thru emails
and in urgent cases, you can also SMS me to come online so we can skype.

I’m quite flexible on that and you’ll need to be flexible too.

If you are seriously looking for a full time employment, you’ll need to prove yourself
during this 2 week trial.

You should be trustful and should be dedicated to your work. I will promote you to other
tasks and may be in charge of other few coders if you are really good. Salary will be reviewed

Since 2001 I run www.tolkienlibrary.com. It is basically a Tolkien book resource and a rare book store. I like the look & feel and wish to keep this, but it should be database driven and should have more community feel to it. At the moment there is a php module to add articles, a comment module and tons of handwritten pages.

I want this site to be converted to wordpress (or something similar) so I can allow others to add articles (selected by me), I want people to be able to post comments, get some advertisement going, be able to highlight posts, rss feeds for articles and comments, latest Tolkien books news in the media, smart way to add amazon links, maybe a forum, link directory, … a real Tolkien book community. O yes and have a db driven store with a smart email system and all existing content converted into the new system. Want to keep my good SEO positions in Google and be able to do social networking…

Guess this is a big job, but I’m certain some ‘real’ programmers can get this done. I’m open for improvements and suggestions as well.

I need a scraper which will:

1. Login to a site with my username and password
2. Go to a specific ‘report’
3. Grab all the data from that report and store it in my database.
4. Allow me to view that data.

Summary of Data:
Data is in a table format and should be easily scrapable. It has column headers, which would be the same as the datatable field names.

There are 2 pages to scrape resulting in 2 separate datatables of information.

First Page Data looks like this:

Since this is date-sensitive information and dates can be inputted into the system – there should be the ability in the system to get older data by putting in the date range. This would be used to back-fill the database.

I need a simple but robust countdown timer that is very easy to plug in into a custom site. There should be no lag and the countdown timer should update by ‘n’ seconds anytime someone places a bid. The ‘n’ seconds value should be a variable. I can fetch this value from a database later on. This means the page should auto-refresh every second so all users are looking at the same countdown state.

Payment only upon completion of project and my satisfaction. Please dont respond if you require an upfront partial or complete payment.

My deliverable would be a simple php/jsp webpage that I host on a webserver with a timer and a bid button. The page refreshes every second and the timer should be synchronized. I will be testing the page over several machines simultaneously to see if its working.

This is phase 1 of a larger project and I will be assigning more tasks once this is successfully completed.

I am not sure what happened on my site, but I know I am using the right password and login name.

I have an admin area for my site at www.vloogl.com/admin1957 now when I log in it just pops right back up with the login request like the info is wrong. The login is the same, not changed and I have looked into the database structure to make sure it is still the same. Now the page doesn’t act like it will load either. Something is wrong so I just need some trouble shooting done.
