Database Of Grocery Prices

I am needing the following features designed and implemented into WordPress.

Section A: Main backend viewed only by WordPress Admin. Ability to verify Section B prices and “Confirm” prices to post to front end of WordPress (Section C)

Section B: A form that allows only a few certain users to enter prices for a specific location.

Section C: Front end view of grocery prices available to members of the WordPress site.

More details on each sections features

Section A – WP Backend for Main Admin
———-

– Confirm/change prices entered from Section B and “post” to front end.
– Add/Remove which items prices can be entered for a specific location for Section B
– Add/Change/Remove photos of certain items in the database

Section B – Form Submittal for selected users.
———-

– Form to allow only certain login users to enter the prices of certain grocery items.
– Ability to have prices be linked to only certain store locations

Section C – Frontend view for all website members
———-

– Ability to compare grocery prices of each item from all locations in one table
– Ability to click on individual item and view past prices (numerical table showing date and prices, and also shown as a price graph over time).
– Ability to create “Shopping List” by selecting which item from which store to buy. Ability to print this list if wanted.
– All Grocery items will need to be able to be searched and found from within the builtin WordPress search feature when a user is logged in. Example: You search “apple”. The apple prices would show up in the table form from all locations.
– Ability to show picture of item uploaded from Section A

That is the basic features I would like to be put into the plugin.

Soccer Fantasy Webpage

I need a single page website created.
The purpose of the webpage is for users to go through a form with radio buttons and make 1 selection per group. At the end of the form there needs to be a submit button that will send the form data to my email address.

At the bottom of the form I would like a link for people to pay me via paypal.

Please refer to the image attached. I would like the look of the page to be exactly like that with some soccer images / world cup logo.

I have no problem leaving the money in escrow during the project but no payments will be made until the project is 100% completed. I always pay my freelancers upon completion.

Java/struts/hibernate/jsp

I am looking for a web Java web developer to add functionality to a new web site.

The site is coded using the following technologies and frameworks:

JSP and JSTL
Struts 2, Spring and Hibernate
Eclipse, MySQL and Tomcat

The is a web front end to a gaming site has several functions.

Attached is a prototype of the web site. This prototype should be used to give an idea of how the web site functions.

The XHTML/CSS and graphic design will be done by another programmer.

The coder should have good communication skills and provide regular updates. The additional code should be well commented and well structured.

The coder will need to understand the existing code to provide enhancements:

1) The tournament creator can delete a tournament. All invited players notified will notified by email that the tournament has been canceled. Please add a ‘delete’ action link alongside in the upcoming tournaments table (tournaments.html). This link will appear only for the creator of the tournament. The user should be able to confirm this.

2) When creating tournaments (and leagues) please allow the user to confirm the details before submitting. The details of the tournament or league should be displayed to the user. If the details are not correct the user should be able to go back and edit the tournament or league details.

3) Times for tournaments etc should be shown in the correct time zone. When the user is logged in the times should also be displayed in the users time zone. For non-registered users the time zone should be captured with javascript. A simple calculation should be performed to display the times of the tournaments in the users time.

Non-registered users should also be able to change their time zone via a drop down. This value should be stored in a persistent cookie. The actual time zone should always be displayed on the screen (above the tables) so that the user knows in which time zone the tournaments are being displayed.

4) There will be new functionality to enable users to create “leagues”. From a web developer perspective this is very similar to “user created” tournaments (tournaments.html) but the data will be held in a new database called ‘league’. The main difference is there will be a finish day and time instead of a start. Also there will be a checkbox to allow users who do not play all of their games to be excluded from the league. The screen layout and database schema is almost identical to tournaments.

Results for league matches will be displayed differently to tournaments because all players in the league will play each other (tournaments are knockouts). The player with the highest points in the league will win the league. A table will be displayed showing the position and points of the players in the league and how many games played. Users will be able to click through and see a list of the games for that player.

5) Fix an error in the “regular system generated” tournaments results (tournamentdef.html). This this error is schematic due to the misunderstanding of the data by the original programmer.

6) The current site requires the user to validate their email address when registering with the site (by clicking on a link from the email address). The site should also require users to validate their email address when the user is changing the email address.

Cameron offers deal to Lib Dems

David Cameron

David Cameron is to set out within hours his plans to form a "stable" government, after the Tories won most votes but not an overall majority.

With results still coming in, the Tories have 294 seats in a hung parliament. He will say he plans to govern "in the national interest".

Nick Clegg, leader of the third biggest party the Lib Dems, said the Tories had the first right to seek to govern.

But Labour leader Gordon Brown is also hoping for a deal with the Lib Dems.

He is expected to make a statement in Downing Street within the next half an hour.

Under the rules of Britain’s constitution, the sitting prime minister in a hung parliament has the right to make the first attempt at forming a ruling coalition.

As counting continues the Tories have gained 93 seats, Labour have lost 87 and the Lib Dems five, despite hopes of a breakthrough for the third party.

‘National interest’

Mr Cameron is to make a statement setting out how he will seek to form a government at 1430 BST. The Conservatives said he would spell out how he would try to form an administration which is "strong and stable with broad support, that acts in the national interest".

It follows comments from Mr Clegg – whose party has done worse than in 2005 despite favourable opinion polls – that he believed the Tories had gained the "first right" to attempt to form a government in the "national interest".

Speaking outside Lib Dem headquarters in London, Nick Clegg said: "It is vital that all parties, all political leaders, act in the national interest and not out of narrow party political advantage."

He admitted it had been a "disappointing night" for the Lib Dems.

Labour sources told the BBC they believed Mr Clegg had left the door open to a deal with them – as he had also reiterated his belief that the current first-past-the-post voting system was "broken".

Labour is expected to wait to talk to Mr Clegg until sufficient results are in showing they have enough seats between them to out-vote the Conservatives.

But BBC political correspondent Carole Walker said Conservative sources were not ruling out electoral reform and could agree to Lib Dem demands for a referendum on voting reform, although they would then campaign for a "no" answer.

The Tories have won 294 seats so far but it is now not possible for them to reach the 326 seats needed to win an overall majority.

Mr Brown, whose party has 252 seats so far, has returned to Downing Street with aides and is expected to make an offer to Mr Clegg’s Lib Dems, who have so far won 52 seats, to try to form a coalition government.

He said earlier: "My duty in all of this is that there be a stable, strong and principled government and to play my part in making that possible."

Downing Street has authorised the civil service to support other parties in hung parliament negotiations – essentially giving the go-ahead for talks to begin.

Graphic

The BBC projection suggests David Cameron’s Conservatives will have 305 seats. If there are 10 Unionists elected in Northern Ireland then Mr Cameron might be able to command 315 – probably still slightly too few for him to be sure of winning a Queen’s Speech.

But Labour and the Lib Dems together would have 316 seats, according to the BBC figures, which even with three SDLP MPs would still leave them at 319 – again a few votes short of a majority

Business Secretary Lord Mandelson said Mr Brown had returned to Number 10, and was going to rest and "catch his breath" adding: "We have to be patient for some time more."

"It’s not possible to make definite claims or reach final conclusions about the outcome of the election because there are results still to come in," he said.

"You could say the electorate have voted for change but what they haven’t done is voted decisively in favour of the Conservatives."

Asked if it would be "inconceivable" to have a Labour minority or coalition government which did not have Gordon Brown as prime minister, Lord Mandelson said: "Frankly there are quite a number of permutations."

But he added it was "premature" to "start getting into hypotheses".

Shadow schools secretary Michael Gove said voters would not be "entirely happy" if Mr Brown "after a defeat like this, were to try to cling on and try to form some sort of coalition of the defeated, some sort of alliance of the dispossessed".

He said: "David Cameron has secured a larger number of votes and a larger share of the votes than Tony Blair secured in 2005 when he became prime minister. The logical next step is for David Cameron to form a Conservative-led government."

Gordon Brown

The Conservatives are predicted to take 297 seats in England, with Labour on 194 and the Lib Dems on 41. The Tories have also made significant gains in Wales – where Labour also regained their former stronghold Blaenau Gwent – but the Lib Dems and Plaid Cymru failed to gain target seats.

But in Scotland the Tories failed to make a significant breakthrough, while the Labour vote held up, with the party re-taking two seats it lost in by-elections – Glasgow East and Dunfermline and West Fife. The SNP and Lib Dems fell short of their targets.

Northern Ireland’s First Minister, DUP leader Peter Robinson lost his seat in the first shock result of the night. The other main unionist leader – the UUP’s Sir Reg Empey, was also defeated in South Antrim.

With 17 of 18 Westminster seats declared – the DUP have eight, Sinn Fein have four, the SDLP have three, the Alliance Party has one and one has gone to an independent.

Half of England council votes in

Voter at the ballot box generic

About 20 million electors will be voting in 164 council polls being held in England on Thursday, at the same time as the general election.

These include those for 32 London boroughs, 36 metropolitan authorities and 20 unitary authorties.

A total of 15,785 candidates are fighting 4,222 seats.

Five are already returned unopposed – two Tories at Cherwell and one at Daventry, one Labour at Hartlepool and an independent at Purbeck.

There are mayoral contests at Hackney, Lewisham, Newham and Watford where residents face a triple election on the same day – general, council and mayor.

When the seats being contested this year were last fought in 2006, a BBC survey put Tories 14% ahead.

The latest opinion polls suggest Labour has a chance of overall gains this year.

Polling stations are open between 0700 and 2200BST on Thursday.

Brown ‘willing to talk’ to rivals

Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown said he was proud of Labour’s record after 13 years in power as he delivered his victory speech in Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath.

He said it was his duty to play a part in Britain "having a strong, stable and principled government".

And he said he wanted that government to be able to lead Britain into "sustained recovery".

BBC political editor Nick Robinson said Mr Brown’s eyes "spoke of defeat" during his victory speech.

Labour said it was "too early to say" if they will do a deal with the Lib Dems.

Mr Brown told supporters and opponents at the count that there was no greater privilege than to serve in parliament the people he had grown up with.

"I’m proud of much that the Labour government has achieved, the minimum wage, the child tax credit, the NHS renewed, more police officers, half a million children out of poverty, two million more jobs than in 1997.

‘Sustained recovery’

"I’m proudest of all to have been returned as MP for Fife now seven elections in a row by the people who know me best, know who I am, what I stand for and what I went into politics to achieve."

In his victory speech, delivered at 0140 BST, Mr Brown said: "The outcome of this country’s vote is not yet known.

"But my duty to the country, coming out of this election, is to play my part in Britain having a strong, stable and principled government, able to lead Britain into sustained economic recovery and able to implement our commitments to far-reaching reform to our political system – upon which there is a growing consensus in our country."

Mr Brown said he entered parliament to fight for jobs, improve schools, fight discrimination and renew the NHS.

Mr Brown said he was "deeply honoured" to have been re-elected and pledged: "I will not let you down."

Classipress WordPress Features

I have implemented the “ClassiPress” wordpress paid theme from http://wpclassipress.com on my website and need a couple enhancements made to it – either by plugins or editing the theme. I would like you to PM me on your thoughts on implementation before we get started. I can provide you with screenshots on how I would like some of the following things added. Communication is key in this project, and c

-having the two different templates for free versus paid listings. I
only want to show name and phone number for the paid listings and then
all of the fields for the paid listings. I will email you the fields or you can view them at www. wisweddingplanner. net. This could be implemented in two different ways. I don’t care if the free and paid listings can enter all of the info, but when they are listed for other people to see I only want the certain fields to show up for free listings versus everything for paid listings. I would like to have a setting where you can edit the templates that are viewed on the site for the listings and save them so you don’t have to go through and change them when you upgrade to the new version.

– selecting in the admin how the results would be sorted: The option to have Featured ones on top, then Paid, then my free ones (based on ad pack levels). Then once in this order are they sorted alphabetically, by hit count, randomly, etc – whichever option is picked.

– coupons. having the option to add coupons (fields: start and end
date accepted, pick ad packs it could be used towards, minimum
purchase amount, coupon amount % off or new price.

– Featured listings will be shown in only the category(s) they selected and not all the categories.

– Have users select more than one category for their ad to be in? I guess I can do it in the admin section, but would like users to be able to select all the categories themselves.

– Adding a tab under ClassiPress in the Admin, where it has a report that lists all of the listings: business name, author and start / end date, status, author, pd, discount. I can select the date range to show.

-Having something like DNN’s Ventrian’s Property Agent “Location” in the part where users fill in their ad / directory information. Where they can enter their address / zipcode and select “find” and it ties in with google’s latitude and longitude. Then I would like this search
capability added to the search widget on the home page where they can
enter a zip code and it returns results back based on a xx mile

– Email templates for the emails that get emailed out before listing expiration with tokens for (Business Name, contact name, listing expiration date, etc). I would like to enter in the day that it is sent out, ex xx (30) days before expiration, and if still not renewed please resend email again x (1) day before expiration. Renewal / cancellation email template with tokens.

Mysql Database Help

I am open to suggestions on how to do this. I want to add products/items into a database system. I want to use excel to manage a file like a CSV file add the additional items and re-upload the file using phpmyadmin.

Like I said, I’m open to suggestions on how to do this. I have looked at programs that will convert Excel to MySQL and all of that but I think those are way to hard to deal with because I don’t have all the info needed to connect to the server/database.

I’m not apposed to some kind of program/script to make this easy for me. I’m dealing with one single table from the database not the entire database.

Don’t tell me you’re ready to start this project, tell me what you’ll do for me and how easy this will be for me in the future. I don’t expect you to tell me how to do it or do anything without getting paid for the help or the info. Telling me you’re ready to go without some explanation on your part isn’t going to get you the job.
