Community Project: Design a Custom Vectortuts+ Paper Toy, Round 3

Vectortuts+ loves Illustration and discovering new talent, so today we are proud to be showcasing the final round of the Vectortuts+ Paper Toy Project. Don’t worry if you missed out, there is still time to participate in the very last project for 2011. We have selected designs from our Facebook Fan Pictures to showcase in Round 3 of the Vectortuts+ Paper Toy Project, thank you to everyone who contributed artwork, the photos are amazing. We have had so many great designs added to our Facebook Group, and encourage you to check it out here.

The designs are posted in no particular order, but we thought it would be fun to kick things off with a cute photo of a penguin in the snow. Great work everyone, it’s been fun to see what you’ve come up with.

As 2011 comes to a close we would like to thank everyone who participated in our community projects for the year, great work! You can check out previous projects and find out how to participate in the last community project for 2011 at the end of this post.

New Project! Favorite Vector for 2011

We have one project left for the year and rather than assign a specific brief, we’re inviting you to share your favorite vector for 2011. Was there an illustration you had fun working on? Did you discover a new trick or technique? Did you work with a client you liked?

To participate, all you need to do is submit your original piece of vector illustration or design from 2011 to the Vectortuts+Facebook Group, don’t forget to include a paragraph about the piece and a link to your portfolio or website. Deadline is Monday 12th of December. We can’t wait to see what you have made this year!
