Setup A Swoopo Script Online

I HAVE A SWOOPO SCRIPT AND NEED HELP TO SET IT UP ONLINE.

I have a Domain and hosting.

Should not take more than 15 minutes to complete.

Here are the instructions

1) Move the code (if it is not already) to a folder in your webroot folder. For example /var/www/telebid.
If you are moving this code to a live server, copy the code into the public_html or httpdocs directory.

2) This step is only needed if the site isn’t accessable from a domain name directly. e.g. www.telebid.com
You need to set up a subdomain to access the site, so that the website URL is telebid.localhost

3) The next step is to create your database and dump the SQL. In the code under /app/config/sql import the
file telebid.sql into your database.

4) Now you need to create your config file. In app/config you will see a file called config.default.php.
Rename this to config.php and fill out the details so that they match yours. Turn demoMode to true for now.

5) Now you need to chmod 777 the following directories:
/app/tmp
/app/tmp/cache
/app/tmp/cache/models
/app/tmp/cache/persistant
/app/tmp/cache/views
/app/webroot/img/category_images
/app/webroot/img/category_images/max
/app/webroot/img/category_images/thumbs
/app/webroot/img/auctions_images
/app/webroot/img/auctions_images/max
/app/webroot/img/auctions_images/thumbs
/app/webroot/img/files

6) Now you need to create the following Cron Jobs. We use CURL to access the URLs, but contact me if you server doesn’t have CURL installed.
These cron jobs should be set to run every minute, of every hour, or every day. Make sure the cronTime in the config is set to 1 also.
The 4 commands you need to set up are:
curl -s -o /dev/null http://www.domain.com/daemons/bidbutler
curl -s -o /dev/null http://www.domain.com/daemons/extend
curl -s -o /dev/null http://www.domain.com/daemons/autobid
curl -s -o /dev/null http://www.domain.com/daemons/close

If you are running the site on your local host, you can test these things by simply running the daemons directly on another browser
and set the cronTime to say 10 to keep it running.

7) You should now be able to access the website. Register on the website, and your account will be set to admin.
Once you have done this, turn turn the demoMode back to false.

Website Changes Flash Js

We need to make following changes to www.jmdlimos.com to make it look more presentable.

1) Top flash menu needs to be changed to match the same as www.brightstarlimo.com – Menu links should also be the same (ex fleet.php, contact.php) rather than index-1.html, index-2.html, etc
2) Copy content from brightstarlimo.com (except the home page) to jmdlimos.com
3) I don’t want the flash to load on every page. It should only be loaded in home page. Disable flash sound.

Need these changes done fast.

WordPress Thesis Installation

Need WordPress Thesis Theme installed A S A P!

I paid for it, didn’t download it yet, so that the person can tell me what steps I need to go through.

Oscommerce Coding Needed

I need help with a coding issue on an OScommerce site I’m working on for a client. You can refer to http://www.aviarfoxx.com/index.php?cPath=22. The problem is that if I add subcategories, the ‘sizing chart’ text shows up in the body. I believe this to be a coding issue, but I haven’t been able to find where the problem is. This should be an easy fix for an expert on PHP and OScommerce, and while I do know a bit about each, I can’t seem to find the problem.

Form In Ms Access Database

I am creating an access database.
1. I need on main form to be able to add code number, model number, and date (default value set in table).
2. have 1st subform display records that already exist that have same code number as being entered.
3.2nd subform- display all records based on query of 3 tables.

you will see I have 2 forms: data entry form and data entry form2.

Identical except 1st form has in private sub form _load -//I use code- DoCmd.GoToRecord,,acNewRecord

In 2nd form in property sheet-under data-//I have Date Entry set to True.

first question: Is one way better for this application?

second question:When I add a record – I still have to hit refresh button to have new record display
in second subform- ( is there a way to have it refresh when I hit add button?)

3rd question:I have to recreate this for access 2003- Will anything be different?

Last question?
Would you have any suggestions to improve this or correct any problem you see?
