Doc Parsing And Date Syncing
I’m looking to create a website where a user can upload a file (such as a class schedule) in .pdf, .doc or .rtf and then have the site automatically extract those dates with corresponding assignments and also textbooks listed in the file. This will be similar to a resume parser. The dates and assignments need to be able converted into a calendar file that can be synced with the user’s google calendar and outlook account. Also, textbook names need to be parsed and compared to current prices on amazon.com via an affiliate account.
I do not need much front-end work done. I want to design the site myself via css, etc. I just need the code and a barebones website. I’d like the frontend to work through wordpress, if possible.
