Request For Proposal
Please read this entire Project
This is a complex project and I need a professional or team of professionals who can build and support a wireless application. I would like a detailed proposal of what platforms will be used (if open source or paid) or if custom development.
Among others, the team should be able to:
– analyze the scope of the project
– create a development plan, architecture and design documents
-make suggestions and recommendations
– write the source code and document it
– create a website design
– create administrator manual and user documentation
– test the system
– maintain the system after delivery to correct bugs
The system shall operate with Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6.0+ and Firefox versions 3.0+. The system shall operate on a Linux or Windows server running Apache web server and mySQL database server.
Although time is a critical issue in this project; however quality should be the highest priority – but I expect you to stick to agreed deadlines.
You will be required to submit to me a complete framework proposal (detailed specifications, features) about the way you are going to build the system. Please describe your software development environment, e.g. your software tools, development methods. The more I know about your software development process, the higher the probability that I’ll shortlist your bid.
Please showcase working sites from your portfolio and provide evidence of your involvement in the development of these sites.
Show me that I’m not going to have any problems communicating with you or your team and that you can intuitively do things without me needing to micromanage every small detail.
