The site will use the latest web technology (Web 2.0 options, CMS, SEF, SEO, AJAX, SOCIAL NETWORKS, Google maps)
Search engine for the listings by location, area, hotel stars, business name, advance search engine with more options, like facilities, price range. These options will be manage through the admin area, ability to add more options. The search results will be displayed with a photo of each listing, small description, hotel stars, location and link to hotel page.
Hotel owners will be possible to register (administration must activate each listing) and add modify their listing.
Registration form: First Name, Last Name, Hotel Name , Area, email, username, (the system will be generate a password), spam protection (captcha) activation link be email. Password reminder option.
Admin will be able to activate, deactivate, edit, and delete members.
Each hotel listing will have the follow information:
Hotel Name, address, telephone, fax, email, url, description, location info, room facilities, hotel facilities, pricelist, special offers, Google map with mark of the exact hotel location, when you click on the mark to display the hotel name and the address. Total views and total hits on the external hotel url. Ability to add up to 10 Photos. Lowest and highest price, total number of rooms, reservation info. Also will be an option to share it (facebook, twitter, myspace etc.) send to a friend, print friendly and PDF brochure. Example: http://www.parosguide.com/hotels-2
Newsletters option
Campaign ADS manager ability to add banners (gif, swf) with different sizes, full statistics for each banner (displays, views, clicks by date, week, and month), ability to set on which pages the banners will be visible, ability to add the banners in different places on each page.
Click counter for all the external links, the counter will be visible on each hotel page.
Review center, ability the visitors to rate and write a review for each listing, only register users will be able to rate and write a review. Html will be not allow it in the comments,
In the review form except the guest information will be a date fields to select the period of the stay in the hotel (pop up calendar) and a text filed to write through which system / site made the reservation. Also will be a radio buttons with the option the select if the user would you recommend this hotel to a friend? Yes or No. The reviews will be visible in each hotel page
Star Rating system for each hotel, the rating system will have 5 options
1. Overall rating from 1 to 5
2. Cleanness from 1 to 5
3. Rooms from 1 to 5
4. Location from 1 to 5
5. Staff from 1 to 5
The results of the rating system will be visible to each hotel page.
Ability to modify, delete, disable the reviews and ratings by the admin.
Register users area (ability to review and write comments for listings, forums, guest book, ecards)
All forms will have a captcha security code protection.
