We recently moved one of our high traffic Joomla sites to a quad-core server with 4G RAM, and we have moved 80% of our traffic to non-SQL static HTML pages, but we are still getting “cannot connect to MySQL” and “server not found errors” during peak times, a problem that we were experiencing with less than half of the horsepower. The site gets about 300-500K page views per day.
We need a Linux Network Administrator who knows what they are doing and can help us get our site to maximum efficiency, someone who also knows MySQL.

I am REALLY tired of people who THINK they know what they are doing, but they are really just hackers. We have two network admins who know how to do normal stuff, but are confounded by these high-demand needs, and I am tired of hearing buy more servers when it is clear that they have NO CLUE how to optimize the servers that we already have.
