Magento Theme Required
Important: This project has a tight deadline of 23rd August
Overview:
We currently have a requirement for a Magento theme to be developed, the design and front end (xhtml+css) coding of which has already been completed, requiring only the PHP code and XML Layout files of the Magento theme to be developed. Additional 3rd party extensions may be used to help satisfy requirements.
Theme Requirements:
– Simple grid listing for category listings pages (with paging and sorting options), sub category navigation should be implemented using layered navigation principles to allow filtering on sub categories and custom attributes.
– Item Detail pages should include these features: Product Title, Customer Review Rating, Stock Availability, Product description and image gallery. Options to cross-sell related products are also required.
– Each product will have an extended list of attributes, grouped by sets, not all of which will be publically visible.
– Each product may have custom options to be displayed, such as colour, size, etc.
– Options to up-sell extended warranties should be included, these will be stored as configurable products.
– Supplier information should also be stored within the Magento system, this could be easily added with a paid extension, you should add a provision for some customisation in your quote.
– A video may also be required for each product.
– Pricing based on location (store) may also be a factor.
What will be Supplied:
– Complete html files for each customised page, for pages that have not been customised, it’s assumed that the built in template will suffice
– Complete product database in excel format
– Ubuntu VPS with LAMP stack installed and configured, Magento CE 1.4.1.0 pre-installed and required vsFTPd + MySQL 5 user accounts setup
– PDF Visuals (see attachment)
Assumptions:
– You will not have to integrate with a third party provider
– You should not have to create additional html/css code
– You will not have to train users of the system
– You will be willing to provide support for your theme
– You will be available on skype
– You will have good English
– Timezone is irrelevant
– Demonstrable Magento experience is preferrential

Page 1 shows cms home page with selected products, blue menu to be manually created, unless developer can suggest more efficient method, main grid area shows items from 3 categories
Page 2 shows what a category page should look like, though this page will show products from a top level category (possibly static), the blue navigation column on left will be powered automatically by built-in layered navigation
Page 3 shows a grid listing of products from chosen category, should include options for sorting and paging, showing as list not required
Page 4 shows what a product view page should look like, includes standard features such as breadcrumbs, pricing and availability, full description with modest image gallery, related items, video and customer reviews. Also on top right there are variations for color, qty and extended warranty options, some of which may change final cost to customer
Page 5 shows a customised shopping cart page, again with more related items
Page 6 shows a potential cms sub page
Payments:
We cannot offer up-front payments. Payment will be provided once work has been completed, uploaded to server, tested and approved, then escrow is released.
Timescales:
We require the work to be completed fully by end of August 2010.
