We are trying to accomplish a project. When it is done, you could register and use a CMS solution with your own domain. Think about wordpress.com in which you get something like yourblogname.wordpress.com.

We already have the CMS solution, based on a custom portal and a phpBB forum.

Which we need is the webpage for registration in which you could enter your own information and then, enjoy your product. We even have the scripts which work to clone the “demo” site and more code. That’s because we only will offer the service localized in Spanish and this product already exists on other language.

If more code and explanation were needed, we could try to provide it from the original service from which we are partners.

We thought to use Joomla as the platform to register just because it’s open source, we know how to work with it and also it provides some great options to show news, have community and such kind of things. However, if you have another idea of what to use (even a custom CMS) it shouldn’t be a problem for us.

The service will run in Linux (Debian) with MyDNS to stablish the DNS and have custom urls on the fly.

In short, the developer must have PHP, MySQL and Linux skills.

Joomla Script Change

I need a componet of a joomla site (DT Register) changed so when it redirects to paypal it opens in a new window.

This is due to my site running on frames and having url masking.

Migrate Joomla 1.0.13 To 1.15

Joomla migration from Joomla 1.0.13 to Joomla 1.15.15.

We will install new RocketTheme template on new server prior to programmer migrating existing site to new server.

We will back up current databases prior to programmer beginning project.

Migration includes moving main Joomla database, all content and related component databases.

Left Side Menu

We have got stuck with our Joomla/VirtueMart site.
Our left side menu which is a mix of Joomla (articles) and VirtuMart (products) does not work like we want it to work.
Our skilled Indian developers has got stuck. They claim that it is because Artisteer has been used and left some code on the site and they are not able to sort the mess out.
Therefor we need to come in contact with a highly skilled developer that knows Joomla, VirtueMart and as I understand it javascript to sort our left menu out.

Our problem is this:
when clicking on a category, we only want the next level of subcategories to fall out, etc.
It is a simple functionallity and our developers knows how to do it if they should start from scratch again, but because of the code from Artisteer they do not know what to do.

I look forward to see references that I can contact to hear whether you are highly skilled or not.

Joomla Site Transfer

Need a joomla site transferred to our live server. It’s a simple joomla site with no complex components.

Joomla Config File Edit

Am needing advice from a Joomla Programmer for this project. We have multiple domains pointing to one Joomla install. We recently had sh404 configured which is requiring the live site (var $live_site = ”;) to be identified in the configuration.php file. My live site need to be derived from the referrer.
