I need a PHP simple script to install 2 WordPress MU on a cpanel host

WordPress MU, or WordPressµ, is the multi-user version of the WordPress blogging application, that allows you to run hundreds of thousands of blogs with a single install of WordPress, and is most famously used for WordPress.com.

Installing it is almost the same as normal wordpress, instructions here:

The script it first needs a mysql database and a database user That can be done via in php (cpanel automation). like this script:

get the wordpress install zip via ftp

the 2 mu accounts per domain would be done via directories

somehost.com/blog/ <mu – #1
somehost.com/blogs/ <mu – #2

I have 2 sites. They are in WordPress. One I need to have wider margins put in. That is all. On the other I need to add 20 pictures, put in weather bug, move around some of the pictures to make things more centered, and make some contact forms and calendars work. The other corrections needed are pretty minor. I am willing to pay $100. Please let me know if you are interested in working at this rate. Thank you.

I have installed a WordPress blog and a SmartThumbs TGP gallery program in two separate subfolders:

domain.com/blog/
domain.com/galleries/index.php

Those are basically two sites with CMS that work independently.

On the main domain, I would like to build a page that takes snippets from both subfolders and displays them right there as a summary. I tried to create a test.php and used php include statements to display the content of domain.com/galleries/index.php right within domain.com/test.php

The problem is, when included, all links from the galleries/index.php are broken. I assume that php treats the galleries/index.php as if it were in the main folder and therefore screws up the links.

I can’t change galleries/index.php because I also need this file to work in that subfolder.

Can anyone help me set this up or is this even impossible to do?

We have a need for someone who has the following skills:

1. works with wordpress
2. familiar with the wishlist membership plugin for wordpress
3. understands how to use Amazons S3 storage
4. can upload video’s to Amazon S3 and have them play from within wishlist (in wordpress)
5. can make a “start” or “splash” screen on the video – so it isn’t just black, but has the company logo as well as the topic of the video showing (you will need to render the video once complete)
6. configure the content in wishlist so it is in steps, step 1, step 2 etc.
7. communicates well
8. can start on this project immediately and can complete it within the established time frame

Here are the project details:

– install WordPress and Wishlist to “members” folder on server
– create category called “traffic systems”, set as default category
– set permalinks to: /%category%/%postname%/
– upload each video as a post in the default category in sequential order
– fix videos so they have the logo and a slide with the video title at the beginning, also show logo at end of video
– make sure video shows title slide instead of black screen at start of video
– create header graphics for site
– paste video outline/bullets (we will provide) under each video
– change color of widgets CSS from green to blue – to better match theme
– once video’s are all approved, upload to Amazon S3 and link player in blog to video at Amazon S3
