I have AJAXed WordPress (http://ajaxedwp.com/) installed and running relatively smoothly on my beta site. There are, however, a few glitches that I would like to have sorted out.

The beta site on which it has been installed is http://www.indiescovery.net/

I need an Ajax expert to tweak the plugin so as to fix the following problems (this is not an extensive list – we would need to discuss additional fixes):
– When a new post is clicked, the page slowly scrolls up to bring it into focus. I would like this to be instant
– When a new post is clicked, the page doesn’t scroll up to the very top, which leaves the top banner ad slightly covered. The page should scroll up the full way
– All links contain #awp::, i.e. http://www.indiescovery.net/#awp::health-get-color/. If possible, I would prefer that this simply be the hash tag (#) without “awp::”.
– Ajaxed WordPress has trouble handling links that are created dynamically by javascript – will explain in further detail when winner selected.
– When the “shuffle” button is clicked (in the menu of http://www.indiescovery.net/) the Ajaxed URL doesn’t work. It should redirect to a random post, but instead the URL stays “http://www.indiescovery.net/#awp::?random” and reloads the front page
– The plugin Facebook Connector has a conflict with Ajax

I am using wordpress on one of my websites and I have a plugin installed called “Search Meter” . Basicly this stores user generated search queries in the DB and it can display the most recent or the most popular user generated searches .

What I want is a tweak that can help me display all the stored search queries that return at least 1 result, in form of a link, on a page that can be indexed by search engines, in alphabetical order.

Some small SEO experience would be required from your side too.
Also, if u have some better ideas or want to add something on how this tweak should be done, you’re welcome .

As you might already understood I’m doing it for more Search engine traffic and better positions.

We installed WP Super Cache plugin on my wordpress blog a couple of weeks ago. And then about a week, we had to move the site to a new server.

Since then we published 2 articles a couple of days ago and the changes are not being updated on the site. Also, when you look at view source, the cache says: “Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2010-05-04”. So it’s only displaying cached pages from 3 days ago

When I logged into my WordPress control panel to check the configuration of WP Super Cache there was an error message there saying the wp-cache folder needs to be writeable for it to work. I contacted my host to ask them to make the folder writeable by the server. After they made the directory writable, I got the following message upon visiting the site:

“Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

…..So I need for someone to look take a look at the above problem and fix it.

This should be simply for someone who is familiar with php, keyword tracking and possible Xtreme conversion tracker software.

I have the script all set up. I am trying to make it work with a WordPress site, trying to capture the traffic, keywords from organic search.

I have also created the file “wp-xtreme.php” and uploaded it into the root directory of the site, as well as added this code to the “wp-blog-header.php” file according to the instructions, but I don’t seem to make it work.

I need someone to take a loot at it and also to tell me how I would test this so I can see it working.

I am looking for an experienced WordPress programmer and designer. The project consist on creating a custom template and modify the wordpress code to get a website like http://wordpressthemesbase.com/

The final website will offer free wordpress themes.

You can change the layout but i need those functions:
-template preview function: the user should be able to get a preview of each template
-ratings: user should be able to rate the template
-submit: user should be able to submit the template
-search: detailled search functions with category/properties(1 column,2 columns,etc…)

Regarding the design, you will have to make a logo and a template for the website.

Important note: the final website will not be in english but i will do the translation. Please try to make it the easiest for me to make the translation later.

You will be given ftp access and a fresh wordpress installation to work on it.
