WordPress Manual Post Inserts
I have a java program which i want to use to automatically insert data into a wordpress database. I don’t know the wordpress structure that well and i’m having difficulty getting this done.

I need a series of sql statements to insert into the database and get the correct tags,category relationships etc right.
You don’t need to do any programming i just need to know the sql statements/examples to insert the data…

The data i want to insert is a post and it has a custom field called
_link_url

i need this done fast so first come first serve….

WordPress Paste Issue
I have multiple users coming to my wordpress site and posting.

I need to set up the text editor in wordpress so that when text is copied from the text editor and pasted at another location, it won’t add extra spaces between the lines.

Also if text contains the “at” sign I would prefer that the editor doesn’t automatically format it as a link.

This needs to be default behavior.

Mods To WordPress Blogs
I want to do the following..

1. install the wordpress for my other three blogs

2. I need to make some modifications to the blogs using the rss to blog that I haveinstalled so that the feeds begin automatically showing on my blogs

I would like the feeds to show up just like they are on riotimes.com

I want the top stories section

You see how at the at the bottom show in a list of links divided by category.

and then also on the right where there is an image and then a short synopsis and it send you to the original source.

3. I want the articles first three to come up like my blog posts an to cut off at the mid-way point or shop off the last paragraph and then to say

The purpose of this is to send traffic back to the original source of the material.

If the price is good, we can get started asap. An example of one of my blogs is tablet*community.com delete the * all the blogs have the same design.

Quick WordPress Plugin
I need a quick WordPress plugin

It would attach to the_content filter

For each post it would get the attached images using for example

$allimages =&get_children(‘post_type=attachment&post_mime_type=image&post_parent=’ . $post->ID );

For every image it will use wp_get_attachment_url($attachid) to get it’s url and then check if this image was displayed on the page.

If it is, it will link thoe whole image it to it’s attachment page using get_attachment_link($attachid).

If it was linking to something else it would replace that link with the link to the attachment page.

So the end result is something like <a href=”attachment page url><img src=”image url” /></a>

First one to finish wins the project.

Advance WordPress Programmer
For this project I need an advance WordPress programmer to make a few changes to the flow of our site. Again this project requires someone with ADVANCE knowledge of WordPress so please don’t waste your time and mine if you are new to WP or SL sorry. Here are the changes that I need done (sorry I can not provide you with the URL at this time)

1. Need latest news to be pulled from a particular category, not actually “latest news”
2. Need to add more fields to artist section
3. Need to add tabbed section to blog
4. Need to add in images on category page
5. Need to change section from linking to a post to linking to a particular page
6. Need to fix image duplication error in gallery
7. Need to alternate tab section on feature section on home page

Website Converted To WordPress
Take a look at http://www.randkinvestmentproperties.com/. The site needs to be recoded so that the client can maintain it. I would like for it to be a wordpress site. The only thing that will be added to the site is on the home page, the image of a house should rotate as a slideshow and the client should be able to easily add/delete photos to that slideshow.

This project is time sensitive and should be completed by this coming Monday 4/19/2010

Psd – Word Press 2
It is very important that the site look EXACTLY like the PSD. I have gone back and forth with the client so many times I am dizzy. I do not want the coding process to be anything like this. It’s final, the client has signed off on this design and so we move forward…

The requirements are as follows:
The index page has slideshow that automatically rotates pictures. The SSI text overlay must appear over slideshow.
There must be several word press “template pages” that the client can choose from when adding additional pages. I will attach screen shots of each page here on SL. If there are questions about functionality, please post them publicly so everyone can see.

Php – WordPress Login
This project involves integrating a wordpress blog login with the other pages on a website that are not wordpress pages. We need to place a link on other non-wordpress pages to link to the wordpress login / register / lost password.

When one of these functions has completed, a “Welcome name!” needs to display with the option to return to the calling page with a “Back” button. So the change needs to be made primarily in the wp-login.php. You will need to let me know what needs to be done on the other pages such as setting a session var to know what page to return to. I will make changes to the other pages and set up the links to the wp-login for login / register / lost password.

This integration needs to be accomplished in the next few days.

Please let me know any similar work you have done like this with wordpress functions.

Wishlist Member – Simplepress
This is an easy job for someone familiar with wordpress, Wishlist member (wordpress plugin) and simplepress forum plugin.

They are both installed but something is not synced up with them. I have read a supposedly simple fix for it using the user roles plugin which is also already installed.

If you can fix this quickly and easily we would appreciate it and possibly have more work shortly following. We would like to get this fixed today if possible.

Easy WordPress Job
I need someone to customize my blog’s cosmetics. This should be a very easy job since all I need you to do is add a couple of videos,(Youtube,google video,etc.) to a page, add a few photos to a couple of other pages and, insert affiliate code in theme.
