Logo Redesign
We are looking to update our logo. It needs something, but not sure what. Some modernizing of some sort!

Don’t want something too flashy. It needs to be simple, professional, modern looking and in good taste.

A ‘technology’ feel would be good as well.

Logo For Website
I am looking for a high quality logo designed for a website. The name of the site is “Caribbean Top News” (domain name is one word .com). It is a news site that summaries the top news stories in the Caribbean for each week. The logo should be vibrant and reflect the Caribbean. It should have the option to use the initials (CTN) similar to how Yahoo uses Y. Any mock-up logo will be given priority (you can add a watermark to it)and considered for the project.

Website Template Design
We are after someone who can work closely with us on site designs for our customers within our CMS system.

The ideal person would need to provide a sample portfolio of work and demonstrate a good over design experience.

The templates would be as follows:

static (no flashwork) – 1-2 days turnaround
static with flash header – 2-3days turnaround
flash header with menu option – 2-3 day trnaround

The timeframes are critical and apply mon-fri only.

Each site would be 900px wide

Once the intial design has been agreed with the client then the design along with the PSD file and information on where any stock images where got to be provided back to us so that we can build the site.

We are moving the journyx.com/execute pages to their own domain and all of the content about the projectxecute product.

Please use journyx.com/execute as your basis and adjust it to meet the following criteria:

Our server farm Runs on Red Hat

we want a real CMS that is Python friendly like Plone or Drupal for approval workflow

Remove PX Hardware Reqs link in the left sidebar

Change A Simple Flash File
I am doing a site I need someone to edit a simple Flash file and use my images and subject matter. There are 2 flash files in the header. Need it quick and clean. Must be creative.

Png Design To Xhtml/css Page
Simple PNG to XHTML project. Background mountain graphic should tile horizontally, side bar tabs should be pure CSS list format so we can add/remove easily.

We would like it in CSS for layout and include styles for the layout, h1, h2, links, etc. and basic text formatted.

We would like the logo to be a link and the ‘Click here for honest estimates’ area to be a link as well.

The top portion where the ‘Call to speak’ will be a flash animated area so do not include that in the graphic. Same with the Honeywell area. The design should be clean so we can have these flash in and on other pages the text will be higher. See the sample jpgs attached showing a page with all text.

In the PNG file, we created slices for your reference to where the divs need to be placed for the flash pieces and logo.

Remember, the menu needs to be a list with an option to have a sub list which is identical yet the text is indented a few spaces. The rollover effect should match the sample and the menu area and page must be able to stretch vertically to allow for extra menu links and pages with more text. We do not need DHTML/Layers/expanding menus – just a nice clean list with the ability to add a few links as needed in the future.

The main thing we are looking for is a high level of detail and precision in crafting this page – we need the final result to be just like the mockup design. We need the divs for the flash pieces made so we can easily add those elements.

Please create placeholder jpg/gifs for the flash areas shown as slices in the PNG. These will be the flash dimensions that we will swap out in real time.

Please see the attached PNG to insure the page design can be created identically or as close as possible.
